Hi Eds, I doubt we'll do any business in January but is there a position you think needs to be strengthened? Most are saying a creative AM but Shaqiri has been a revelation (I hold my hands up didn't him workint out) .
Goal-keeper and back 4 look sorted. Front 3 sorted. If Fabinho and Keita work out then it just leaves that one mid-field position? Or is it just being stronger in depth such as LB support? Thanks.

Could there be any movement with goalkeepers Ed002? Mignolet clearly isn't happy with playing second fiddle, or will Klopp likely resist any requests to leave till the summer?

{Ed002's Note - As soon as he can I would expect Mignolet to leave. Whether or not the club have the confidence in the GKs they have to use one to provide cover or not I don't know, but they should not be looking to youngsters. The trick typically is to be a good quality older player who is happy to take that role and perhaps to help out some of the youngsters with the coaching.}

Need a RB. TTA doesn't get to byline enough for me, his crossing is poor. although his 'pinging' of the ball is beckham esq, possible DCM for the future.

Would like to see a young LB bought or coming through. other than that i think we have a challenging squad.

I totally backed shaqiri and would have liked him and Mertens last year.

Summer will be a big bucks move for a CF to push firmino.

I hope brewster turns out to be as amazing as he believes he is. He is too good for youth football but can he make the next step? Also if Wilson keeps thrashing the championship then he deserves a good go.

One of the lads on the live chat earlier mentioned Fabinho possibly moving to PSG, this is just a journalist having a quiet day at the office right eds?

Also, top thanks to Benny, Ed001, Ed002 and the rest of the lads for making this happen. Round 2 here we go!

Oh dear, that would be a real shame if this came to fruition. Can't say I would be devastated but it wouldn't be ideal.

This is the Difference between us and city and this is why i believe they will pip us to the title.

Whenever we mention a high profile name it always has to be a replacement for someone.

We need another big name to play in the front 3 positions. There will come apoint in tbe season where ourtop 3 fade away for a month, or are just not quite on it.

City have Mahrez, Sterling, Aguero Jesus, Sane and Bernado for the 3 uptop positions. It keeps players fresh and opposition guessing.

I read recently that Besiktas are not happy at all with Karius' performances since they took him and are now talking about terminating his loan in January and taking Origi instead. Do you know if there's any truth to this? And in your opinion, what what do you think that will do to his mentality if it were to happen?

{Ed002's Note - I can't see that there is any truth in their looking to or even being able to terminate his Karius' loan. However, Besiktas are looking to add a forward and Divock Origi is one option they are looking at, but their focus is initially on someone else.}

There was an article about this in The Guardian which stated that the Turkish press is having a field day dragging Karius' name through the mud, primarily because there news stories are often picked up by the British press. It also mentioned that the back-up keeper at Besiktas is a former Turkish international and some have suggested he should be starting games over Karius. The article went on to state that Besiktas were happy with Karius, that he had adapted to life well in Turkey, and that such stories were pure fabrication. Make of this what you will but it seemed to make a certain amount of logical sense to me.
