And he should have played as the result shows. Klopp holds the responsibility for that decision. And for picking 3 central midfielders at home against the worse team in the league.

I would love an explanation.

Agree1 Disagree7

{Ed025's Note - im sure he will call at your house shortly mate..

21 Jan 2017 18:28:13
You can't plan all week thinking he might not be allowed to play then just throw him in mate. As for the 3 in the middle I do agree lallana should play there every week he shouldn't be the one moved him hendo and gini for me first choice in there. Bad result but we move on an hopefully learn from the mistakes nothing a win midweek an trip to wembley won't cure.

Hi eds, say Sturridge or Firmino or Coutinho were to leave, do you think LFC might try for Aguero? Thanks.

Believable1 Unbelievable13

{Ed025's Note - i would doubt it mate..

20 Jan 2017 21:19:06
With the news on this so called Aguero he is a 17 yr old who bayern Munich are after and looking at. the real reason everyone is going on about him is that he has the same name as the city player but he has said, if he were to pick a club to be his next move it would indeed be Liverpool football club.

I believe Billo is quoting a skysports article from years ago when Rafa was in charge. Its comes up if you put aguero liverpool into google search. It does concern the real aguero.

Gerrard just been announced as academy coach. thoughts eds?

Believable2 Unbelievable8

{Ed025's Note - his first aim will be to stop them smiling, good player but what a miserable sod.. :)

20 Jan 2017 18:41:26
Believe the Eds thoughts were it's better he is involved at youth level rather than the first team so hopefully it's a win win for both parties.

Ha ha. I personally don't really like Gerrard. Comes across as a real tit. up his own backside

To be fair been watching him more and more on bt and he does actually seem to have abit more about him than his usual "yeah of course" answers.

Hes been opening up more and actually quite level headed.

Inspiring i don't know but paiairing him with someone loud would help him in management

Biggest aorry now is we lose a few games its sack klopp and appoint gerrard.

I'm sure Gerrard will lap up the adulation he'll receive from the younger players!

20 Jan 2017 19:46:44
I don't care how he comes across. a true fan would be a bit more appreciative of what he did for the club and not call a club legend names. . What a complete fool you are

Redphil. . u clearly are not up 2 speed with Gerrard and his behaviour. I suggest u get up to speed b4 u start spouting rubbish. As I said I respect what he did as a player for the club but that doesn't take away the fact that he is a tit. as I respect your opinion. but.

Agree1 Disagree9

{Ed001's Note - at youth level he will be an inspiration to the kids, so he will make a difference to their development, even if he is still figuring out how to coach effectively. It was the best place for him.}

20 Jan 2017 21:27:15
I tend to agree with you Phil, I don't care if he's a bit of a tit. I'd happily be a tit to have half the career he's had. He gave everything for Liverpool on the pitch and I'm sure he will continue to with the youngsters. I don't know myself, but people say he's not a very nice person, But you don't know what to believe. He's done nothing wrong to me (except slipping and letting Demba Ba in (joke) ) so I will continue to look at him as one of the greatest Liverpool players! Good luck SG YNWA

My view is he one of ours, and did everything for us. why a lfc fan call him that is. unbelievable.
For the memories that guy has given us, a little bit more respect. not spouting rubbish. in the words of Rafa. FACT

To some of you fickle blerts, if Stevie is a "tit", then what does that make the messiah that is Suarez?

You've all got a short memory.

Oh yeah, Stevie is a "tit" when he is around "tits", so if you've experienced his company and have received a negative reaction, think of yourself as a proper weapon.

Before you all start, I've criticised him enough in the sense that I believe he can have a negative effect sometimes, but to call him that is wrong.

Lfcdiamond, you are a prized tit.

Maybe I should qualify what I said and what I meant. I think he comes across as a bit of a tit. I am sorry but he does. Yes he gave everything to the club and some great memories but that doesn't mean that he comes across well. Davy. . I didn't insult u so ease up hey. we are not in the playground here. It's an opinion. although I admit perhaps I didn't put it in quite the right context. Either way your comments are not required. but thanks for the input. from one tit to another. lol ☺

Because someone scores a hattrick doesn't make them suitable to look after and play a part in our yoynger players development!

He needed to prove himswlf for me like.

Player level 100
Coach level 1

Ahould of got a job somewhere else first like pretty much every young aspiring coach. Weve just lost one of our best coaches because he has had to go to brazil for an opportunity. Never going to get one in the top leagues in englabd even after all his years of experience.

Gerrars bounces in and what doesn't even have to start with the under 7's.

If peiple waa inspiration then its our current captain the one who fought all the critism and unwantedness to become captain and now indespesable in one of th3 best teams in europe with one of th3 worlds best coaches.

Hi Eds just wondering if Bob Bradley was seriously considered for the manager role before we got Klopp? I remember reading at the time that both him and Klinsmann were possibilities.

Believable0 Unbelievable6

{Ed025's Note - i dont think he was ever a serious option annie..
