Hi All,
Interesting times ahead.
I believe that there have been talks with one manager who is on a sabbatical, early stages i know, and it isn't Klopp.
Cheers
Macca

21 Sep 2015 22:06:55
Come on Macca - a bit more. Otherwise the I might think the American dream of Klinsmann is what you are talking about.
Could it even be Laudrup getting a go ?
21 Sep 2015 22:29:59
Cheers for the info Macca
21 Sep 2015 22:34:24
How about marco bielsa
21 Sep 2015 22:47:35
Marcelo Bielsa(if he can speak English) would be great Imo
21 Sep 2015 23:00:42
The obvious and the hope points towards Carlo ancelotti or even Biesla - the man that gave Brendan a winning formula!
But knowing our luck it will be know one we want on this website.
Please say avb has a job
21 Sep 2015 21:42:43

It's Carlo. They approached him in the summer too but he was having a knee op or something
21 Sep 2015 23:09:27
Guus Hiddink?
21 Sep 2015 23:51:49
I don't care it's just nice to have some excitement because the games haven't been exciting so far! Thanks Macca.
22 Sep 2015 00:08:55
May be P.Ayestran?
22 Sep 2015 00:20:52
Thanks Macca, we all appreciate you probably can't say any more than you have done, but thanks for letting us know there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.
22 Sep 2015 00:21:57
I hope is P.Ayestran?
22 Sep 2015 00:35:28
Lucien Favre?
22 Sep 2015 02:08:59
AVB has a job
Pako (my choice) has a job
Harry Redknapp was having a knee op Essex 😄
Carlo was having a back operation I think.
Here's a name : Guus Hiddink 😎
Hope it's not Neil Warnock 😀
22 Sep 2015 03:34:23
Money's on Guus Hiddink.
22 Sep 2015 04:55:04
Thanks for the information Macca. If LFC are talking, early stages I know, then it is a very clear sign that they too have lost confidence in Rodgers.
Biesla would be a terrible choice because he cannot be reasoned with, and he doesn't speak English. If things don't go the way as he wants, he just quits or threatens to quit. People should search on how he has treated his employers in the past and aFSG will not stand for his whims.

I suspect it is someone with a lot of experience. Almost certainly Ancelloti, in my opinion.
Fits the bill to a T. Prem experience, fluent in English, North American connections (wife).
22 Sep 2015 08:05:15
Wasnt it hiddink who said he didn't want to manage at club level in the future, only at international level?
Ancelotti would be a wise and capable head, but I also think I remember Ed002 saying in early summer that ancelotti to lfc would be very unlikely- although its possible the situation could have changed since then?
22 Sep 2015 08:17:54
i doubt ancelotti would be interested, when he'll get bettere offers
22 Sep 2015 08:20:16
It has to be Ancelotti. I'm sure the owners choice would be experience combined with a manager who has won stuff. More respect from current players and ability to attract quality names.
If it's not Carlo then Hiddink or Laudrup?
22 Sep 2015 08:51:47
This is massive, cheers Macca!

Without providing a name this info is as useful as teets on a bull. It only serves for idol speculation and people having yet another thing to hound the eds over to provide a name.

22 Sep 2015 10:09:15
Glenn Hoddle came close to taking the manager's job at Spurs a year ago. Glenn in red? Who knows
22 Sep 2015 10:04:43
I think you reds could do with that lucien favre who has just resigned from Monchengladbach
22 Sep 2015 13:21:55
It is a manager who has been on a really long sabbatical.
Roy Evans
22 Sep 2015 16:04:00

22 Sep 2015 22:58:37
Gerard Houllier. Definitely. Heard Heskey might be brought back too.
