Firstly, what a fantastic performance for the team and our fans today. King Kenny is truly working his magic and inspiring us all again - sent a shiver through my spine.
Now for the rumour - A meeting has been scheduled for after the Fulham game to finalise a move for no other than Neymar!
Apparently all that is left to do is the personal terms prior to the medical.
As per usual, this has been kept super schtum the Liverpool way. YNWA!
The owners are really keen to be bringing in young talent and Neymar certainly fits the bill - In more than one way $$ ;)

Hey ed, not a reliable source but empire of the kop just retweeted a tweet by someone who claims that mido mentioned that Suarez was also likely to leave ajax and love to play alongside nando , in an interview he gave when he rejoined a Egyptian team. I did a google and found another mention of it by someone on a forum.
so the question here is has anyone else seen and understood the interview?

What a great win today, but more importantly finally some class composure on the ball and movement. . not just passing back and sidewards.
Onto Rumours:
Suarez is not coming, and like Kenny said today we do our business behind close doors. We are not keen on all the papers being over it like a rash and we are concerned that the publicity is PURELY driving up his fee.
Neither is Llorente- and I am not too unhappy as I feel he is a glossy Peter Crouch. Ed I know you love this guy and rate him, but under Kenny i feel our target man Torres is back. We need to focus on getting quick small players around him with a lower centre of gravity who can spin off move n play in El Nino for the service he has craved.
It might surprise you all but Kenny was impressed with Lavezzi bulldog like work, pace, hunger and trickery. . this was when he was at the Napoli game.
He is hoping he will have the same sort of role Tevez gives Man City and whilst he won't get the number of goals Torres will.
Fee - 14m and this saves some for a wideman we desp need.

Hi, just thought I'd tell you that all stadium tours have been cancelled for Monday (within the last hour) and only a limited amount on tuesday. Usually, in the past this proves to be good news (press conference, revealing etc.)

Discussions will be held tomorrow over the Suarez deal. They will be about whether or not to include Ryan Babel in the deal and how much to offer.
Ajax rejected a second bid of £15m (the first being £12.5m) yesterday. We could now offer £16-17m plus Ryan Babel or around £18-20m up front.

My source from inside the club has told me:
We are willing to pay £6.5 million for Charlie Adam and No more.
Luis Suarez will be signing, its just a matter of time before the club agree the fee, the player has told his agent he wants the move. I believe it will be £21million or £16million+ Ryan Babel.
We will also Try for Keisuke Honda near the end of the window, the fee will be around £12-13million.
As for the summer:
Eden Hazard is our top target, the club would be willing to splash near €30 million.
Yan My'vila is a target for around £15million mark.
Also, Sakho is a real target to solidify the back four.
Kenny will sign a 3-year contract.
This might not be the only buisness we do, just the ones im aware of. I'll keep you updated.

I think today show what we are capable of with the the current players, add Carragher and Gerrard to todays squad and we have a team that could win week in week out.
So additional players to the squad would only increase our chances of a top 7 finish.
Luis Suarez i believe will sign in the next 48 hours for 20 million (13m + Babel).
Charlie Adam played in his last game today and is 10 times better the CP who did well for the first goal but gave my heart flutters when trying to keep the ball at 2-0.
Ashley Young would bring pace to the game and above all else is British so fits into the rules that all clubs have to abide by.
Now I would possible spend some money on bring in Cahill. i think we need cover in that area and Carragher isn't getting any younger and SK is dodge most of the time.
Honda would be nice but he as well as Turan will be summer signings.

Suarez will cost double Honda? No. Honda will cost us £14m and we will get Suarez for around £20m. That is no where near double.
Ajax have said they will sell us Suarez and expect it to happen before the 27th and for around £20m possibly £22m.

With the current valuation branded around the ed is near enough spot on, Honda can be got (by us, Arsenal or Milan) for around the 9 to 10 million.
If we are to get Suarez it won't be for less than 18->20m .

Honda will come at the end of the month because we won't be getting Ashley Young but he may come in the summer. Honda will be completed on 30th or 31st but we have somebody out there talking to his agent about the move (but there is other representitives out there from other clubs). I'm confident he will come to us.
Great win today lads. Full weeks training under Kenny Dalglish worked wonders for the boys played awesome under a difficult surface and a difficult team.

Simon Kjaer only 12.5 mill really classy centre half and a good price to boot. Why haven't we stated an interest Ed?

Realistically I can see LFC sign. . .
Adam. . . . Done deal I think as regard to personal terms only thing to agree is the price which B'pool will try and get it up, which you can't get blame them for. . I think £6M should do it.
Honda. . . . Going by what the Ed's are saying, which is usually pretty accurate, seems to be in hand and will happen next week. .I think £12M should do it.
Warnock. . .Loan deal I think, but don't think we will buy him in the summer.
Young. . . . We'll sign him but not until the summer I think, not enough time to negotiate, but will cost us over £15M in my opinion.

My thinking:
Suarez will come - fee just has to be agreed. Ajax now looking at van Wolfswinkel & Gudjonsen means they are imagining life without him.
Adam will come (prob around 6m) which is worth it. I think he is exactly what we need - deeper lying playmaker behing Stevie & Raul.
Honda will come just before the close of the window. Not seen too much of him and hope he adapts to EPL - but at least he wants to come.
Lastly a winger - I think we are working between Young (prob no.1 target - but Villa don't wanna lose him), Jarvis & N'Zogbia. I would be happy with any of the 3. My bet would be on Jarvis (as Wolves have bought Hammil).

Realistically I can see LFC sign. . .
Adam. . . . Done deal I think as regard to personal terms only thing to agree is the price which B'pool will try and get it up, which you can't get blame them for. . I think £6M should do it.
Honda. . . . Going by what the Ed's are saying, which is usually pretty accurate, seems to be in hand and will happen next week. .I think £12M should do it.
Warnock. . .Loan deal I think, but don't think we will buy him in the summer.
Young. . . . We'll sign him but not until the summer I think, not enough time to negotiate, but will cost us over £15M in my opinion.

Ajax and Liverpool are still trying to negotiate how the transfer fee for Luis Suarez will be structured and whether or not Ryan Babel will be included in any deal.
Both clubs have agreed a transfer fee but Ajax want a huge cash advance and they also claim that we're asking for too much money for Babel.

Charlie Adam may go into those teams and improve them but when you have seen the likesof Xabi Alonso and Mascherano grace our hallowed turf then I'm afraid the potential signing of Charlie Adam does not appear to be very inspiring.
Rather than get someone average why not try for Banega or Martinez who are real quality.

Questions were fielded to the King about why he dropped Joe Cole to the reserves.
I think we all know it was about giving him match fitness (allbeit 45 mins), I hope this is one of the "Liverpool way" methods that the King will return to, back in the day, a player coming back from injury would spend 2-4 weeks in the reserves getting back to full match fitness, the players today think it is an insult to appear in the reserves & expect to walk straight back into the team without match fitness.

Just been to a party where I met someone who knows Matt Jarvis very well. He will probably move to either LFC or NUFC by the end of next week. Wolves now have Hamill on the right and Hunt will swap from the right to the left wing. Jarvis can really only play left wing. If Jarvis stays Hunt will be the one who loses out in pecking order. KK has sounded Jarvis out and all looks promising for a switch to Anfield, but who knows what other options KK has.

I am not claming to have a source but I know a couple or jurniolists from lpool echo. One being sports editor one being crime writer. Seen the crime reporter today he's a united fan. Asked him about suarez, believe what u want he told me he spoke to sports editor other day and that lpool still havnt made an offer but have opend talks for a deal worth around 15 million but Ajax said no and are holding out for 28 but he said ppl in the echo expect a deal to go through for around 20 million. He also said there is a definate intrest in Honda and Arda Turan but not to expect all 3 because it would cost around 40 million. Not sayuing everything is going to happen. Just what he's said

Hot from melwood the groundsman my mate he's told me 101% Suarez deal toe announced next week if registration goes in by tuesday he's home game will be against Fullham.
