Hi Eds, according to my brother, Liverpool have been extensively scouting American Bobby Wood, as recently as the Hamburg Vs Gladbach game, I know clubs send out scouts to see loads of players, just wondering if this one has any legs to it

{Ed002's Note - He only moved from Union Berlin's to Hamburg last summer so they won't be looking to sell Bobby Wood. I am not aware of Liverpool showing an interest at this time. Hamburg paid €3M for him 6 months ago and a work permit might be tough to sort out unless an English side were to pay over the odds. It would be an odd choice from near the bottom of the barrell.}

Just seen a rumour about us trying to outbid Real Madrid for Theo Hernandez. Seems like utter bull, but he would be a great solution for the left back issue, in my opinion. Who hold interest in Hernandez in the real world? Thanks for the hard work. Very much appriciated.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any bids from either Real Madrid or Liverpool for Theo Hernandez. He has been doing well enough on loan for Atletico to confirm him as a first team squad member for next season. Interestingly, last summer Manchester City put a cash offer on the table that proposed to take him and his brother to Manchester - it came to nothing and they moved on to more appropriate first team targets. If Liverpool are looking to him as a potential first team player then I am by no means convinced they are doing the right thing.}

Hello Ed's! A quick question seen us linked with timo werner from RB, is it true? Do you rate him far most importantly. And would you like rugani at Liverpool?

{Ed002's Note - RBL's Timo Werner was of interest to Spurs before he left Stuttgart but that interest seems to have gone. Scouts from Chelsea and Liverpool attended a game in December where Werner scored against Hertha Berlin and in January Liverpool and Dortmund scouts watched him score against Eintracht Frankfurt. Given he only joined RBL last summer and his season is going well with Leipzig more than likely being in the Champions League next season, RBL will not be looking to sell and I doubt he will be looking for a move.

Juventus are not keen to sell Rugani but have had a discussion with three sides including Villareal, Milan and an English side (not Liverpool - who have no interest in him).}

Echo reporting we are interested in Michael Keane (of Burnley) . Anything to it Eds?

{Ed002's Note - Everton, Chelsea and Leicester have shown an interest in Michael Keane (home grown is a bonus) but Burnley will be reluctant to sell and would seek a lot of money to do so. I am not aware of any approach to Burnley by Liverpool at this time.}
