Ed002 If you are about. I know it's not a Liverpool question, so will try. With Neco Williams being Welsh, how does a Welsh based side go about joining the a English leagues?

Thanks

Marc.

{Ed002's Note - The Welsh FA did not exist until fairly recently and the original few clubs that were in the English league system stayed on.}

Would there ever be an issue, if say these clubs wanted to reaturn? I know Colwyn Bay did a season or so ago.

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - They refused at the time - and it is not viable for Cardiff or Swansea, and perhaps not Newport.}

Hi ed02

Any interest in Fabian Ruiz from Liverpool?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Fabian Ruiz (CM/DM) is seen by Real Madrid as a replacement for Kroos and/or Modric but is not first choice but they could still turn to him and are keeping their interest known to Napoli - and crucially Real Madrid have a player Napoli want who could be part of a trade. There have been discussions with his agent with Manchester City who see him as one of several options to the long-term replacement of Fernandinho. There have also been discussions with Bayern Munich but they are ideally after a DM and AM and although Ruiz often plays an DM role his value is as a CM player. Napoli have also met and spoken with Barcelona seen as a replacement for Arturo Vidal and/or Ivan Rakitic as they try and rebuild - but also wanted by Real Madrid and price will be an issue without sales or exchanges.Napoli will demand a very significant fee - somewhere in the region of €90M to €100M which would rule out Bayern Munich and probably Manchester City. I am not aware of any approach to his agent or Napoli by Liverpool.

I thought Rodri was Fernandinho's long term replacement?

{Ed002's Note - They never replaced Yaya Toure directly.}
