I've asked a few questions about this geezer today but is Pedro even on Barca's clear out list and available at the right price? I'm aware of cesc Tello sanchez etc etc but not sure they will let him go also?

Doubt we will offer silly money for him? Perhaps Tello is more likely.

Reports indicate that Barca are prepared to accept a fee in the region of what Southampton want for Lallana.
Surely this is incorrect Ed?
Cannot see then accepting that kind of figure from anyone. Can you?

Vrcomp - do you think Barca should be looking for more or less than £25m? I wouldn't pay more money than that for him, bit huff and puff for that money imo. He'd be a good signing alright though and his versatility would be great.

If it was a toss up between Lallana or Pedro for the same money Sean i'd go with Pedro.

Cannot see Pedro being sold for the figure's being quoted in the press. His release fee is reported to be £125 mill so to accept a figure around the Lallana bid would seem a bargain to me!

Pedro won't cut it in Prem in my opinion. Barca want these players out because they can't 'cut the mustard'. LFC trying to build long term and Pedro would be like another Aspas.
I don't see why we don't go after the likes of Shaqiri, Mateo Kovacic before their prices go astronomical. Kovacic very similar to Ross Barkley. If Barca want Agger and Maybe Reina it would be worth it to include them in a swap deal for Alexis Sanchez. Same with Lucas Leiva, if Inter really were interested I'd offer him and £10m odd for Kovacic.
I like Lallana a lot but for £25m I'd rather Shaqiri ( who is a brilliant player) and Emre Can. Would like Ashley Cole too (name 3 better left backs in Prem. You'll struggle after Leighton Baines and even that is debatable). Defensive midfield will be hardest to sort out. Javi Martinez and William Carvallho will be expensive. Can we get M'Vila or Schneiderlin?
In a perfect world my first 4 signings would be Roos Barkley . Adam Lallana . Luke Shaw . Micah Richards. William Carvallho . Shaqiri . Sanchez and Kovacic. We can a Dream can't we?

Marca reports that the English papers, The Mirror and Daily Mail, state that Rodgers wants Pedro. I am not sure how reliable these papers are.

Not reliable at all in my opinion.

Hi Eds, have Liverpool, or any other clubs shown any interest in Luiz Gustavo? I have read that Inter Milan have turned their interest to Yann M'Vila after being priced out of a move for Gustavo, but could you see him being an option for Liverpool?

it seems that we are being linked with Wilfried Bony, adam lallana and other attacking players. Does it mean suarez is going to be sold to raise funds for these incoming players.

I am aware of interest we have in Tello, but most sites are going with either Pedro or Sanchez as our targets. Do we have interest in them? Realistic?

Eds,

With both of these player are they looking to sell due to a bad attitude on the part of the players or a perceived lack of ability by their clubs?

Love to know your thoughts
