Good Morning All.

The Echo are reporting that we're close to signing 16 year old Polish Goalkeeper, Jakub Ojrzynski from Legia Warsaw for £200,000.

I know it's no big name or even anywhere near the first team, but a rumour is a rumour, right?

If true, he must be deemed pretty good considering that our current academy goalies are already at a decent standard.

Although much is expected of him, he's being bought to join the under 18s as competition to Jaros.

I uh don't think he will get q good opportunity with us unless Alisson leaves. he is 26 now he will play till 34 maybe at really high level by that time the kid will have left us and become 26 year so i wouldn't read much into it. and ed02 has de ligt deal hit a snag? sorry if im being a bother. i understand he won't end up with us. i hope he ends up at Barcelona or madrid or psg nd not in england.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained the deal with de Ligt.}

Think we need to De Ligt that question livebird, we all know that he is not coming Klopp isn’t interested.

Re goalkeepers, we don’t know what will happen in 5 years time, Allison may want to move somewhere else, it’s all about planning for the future.

Any idea if Klopp would go back in for Gotze? Seems like it may be a shrewd move with Gotze finding form under Favre. Dortmund buying Brandt and Thorgan Hazard could make him a cheap option in the market as well. he's been in that false 9 and AM position at Dortmund, perfect cover for Firmino and other AM positions.

Personally I wouldn't see it as a wise move, his intensity to play at our pace has passed him. He's been unfortunate with his health issues, a talented player.

Hes crap mate, not good enough for our level.

Are you serious Salah? The guys fought back from a debilitating illness and was easily one of the top young players before 2014. The fact he’s been through what he has and returned to form with Dortmund shows what a strong character he is. Also he’s a firmino type, selfless and hard working and he will sacrifice himself positionally for the team. He’d be an excellent signing if fully recovered and if Klopp feels he can get him back to form. The guys 26 and hasn’t hit his prime yet he’s had a great career. He’s been playing very well this season too mate.

He can’t be that crap Salah Klopp debuted him at 17. Disappointed in you mate you’re usually very positive an happy.

He’s fully recovered hence his 8 goals 7 assists in the bundesliga despite not playing much until after Christmas.

Far from crap. don't see us going for him but with 1 year left i wouldn't be against it if we did.

Considering Brandt isn't an option anymore and we've apparently lost interest in Fekir, I'd love to take Gotze as long as he doesn't command exorbitant wages and can stay fit. Especially considering that he can cover multiple positions (think he started off at RW for Dortmund before moving to CAM, and then played at CF for both Bayern and Germany and CM under Guardiola for Bayern at times), he'd be a good option as a rotational piece. Also to note is that he's played his best football under Klopp and they still maintain a good relationship.

I'm absolutely serious lerchy, if you think he's a good player then I don't get it, he isn't and isn't good enough for our level. When we were trying to get top 4? sure, now? no chance.

Disappointed in me? lol I am positive, about Liverpool mate but not about a player I don't rate.

Hi Ed001

Question for you

Who are liverpool actually looking to bring in this summer?

I've just seen Brandt has gone BD

Fekir still a option?

Cheers.

{Ed001's Note - I believe the interest has gone in Fekir, though I do expect him to move in the summer.}

Any hunch or info on who we might turn to Ed. Any snippet or grain of any whisper mate?

{Ed001's Note - not at the moment mate.}

I honestly think we'll just sign someone that no-one expected us to, or possibly someone who is fairly unknown.

I've recently read that we may sign Samuel Chukwueze if we can get a decent offer for Shaqiri. Nope, I haven't heard of him either.

EpicPotato, i've not seen a lot of Chukwueze, but what i have seen has impressed me, particularly against Barcelona in the 4-4 draw a couple months bk. he is oozing natural talent but is still very raw. could be perfect Klopp material.
