I've heard that liverpool are preparing an offer for athletico bilbao striker fernando llorente, how true is this and would he be a good sigining.ed? {ed's note - I have not heard about us actually doing any more than scouting anyone as of yet, but he would be great signing in my opinion.}

He scored two goals against sevilla, he is a tall strong player who is very talented; very very good in the air and amazng at holding the ball up; he is a must for January and Mata, plus Mexes and Defour (we are preparing to snipe united)

Then we play this team:

Reina
Johnson Skrtel Carra/ Agger Konk/ Fabio
Cole Meireles/ Defour Gerrard Mata
Torres Llorente That is a top 4 side :D

Is there anyone who cam tell me what Gerrard and Carragher wrote about Diouf in their biographies? Also, I was pleased to see Liverpool play a great game today. If the likes of Maxi, Lucas, Konchesky and Carragher were depth players, we would be not so worse off. I caught the Sevilla - Bilbao game today and I wonder if Llorente could be convinced to join Liverpool. He looked great in the loss. He is strong, quick and good in the air. We must have a good relationship with them since they bought San Jose on the cheap and inserted himn right in the line up. At least, their is a history between the teams. I'd like to see the following players join in January:

Llorente (stud)
Marin (unproven, but probably cheap)
Eljero Elija (idem marin)

Sell in January:

Babel (toxic waste) 5 million
Poulsen (wishful thinking) 3 million
Kuyt (great attitude, but short on every level) 8 mil.

I reckon you could realistically raise 15-16 million by selling those three and if Mr Henry is willing to add another 20 million (Masherano money + personal cash) we should be able to temporarely fix the squad before the ever-so vital summer spending.

P.S. Hoarau has far from convinced in France. Ngo if he were playing in the French league might look just as good as Hoarau. Liverpool need a man up front who can play with or without Torres. Hoarau looks light to me.

Liverpool should buy javi martinez 10m and hes a liverpool similar to alons can pass and is pretty solid as hes 6, 3 but he would also be able win headers in the heart of midfield as lucas dosent seem to challenge for them and then gerrard would be able to go back into the free role as javi can also defend already has a world cup winners medal , as has llorente another player we should sign hes 6, 5 and would complement torres brilliantly or provide quality back up, avalible for 10m + , buy these two players and wve got those two quality players we need to mount a title challenge also wingers wouldn't be a bad idea as joe cole is ok maxi isn't bad either but they struggle to beat the first man at times so sign someone like marc albrighton british and a pretty class act alreadty 10 m aswell and get rid of some dead wood i.e babel 8m lucas 5m kryiagkos 3m poulsesn free agent worst buy since heskey, these two tall players would make us so much more dangerous from set pieces believeable if good buys or poor buys unbelieveable YNWA

I'm just asking for opinions, not suggesting that this would be my preference, but. .

If we could get £20m for Pepe and pick up Shay Given (who, in my opinion, is a top top keeper) thereby releasing more funds for outfield players, would that be a good or bad piece of business?

Personally, I love Pepe and would never want him to leave but just wondered what people think. .

Here's an interesting one for you all. .
Jose segura, our technical director at academy, was in charge of Barca youth team and Barca 'B' team - he discovered and nurtured iniesta fabregas pique reina and one Mr L Messi - when Frank took over at Barca.
I personally would love to see rijkaard taking over with Jose having a massive part to play

I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS RUDOLFO BORRELLO WHO DISCOVERED ALL THESE AND TURNED THEM INTO FIRST TEAMERS I COULD BE WRONG BUT THATS WHY I GOT SO EXCITED WHEN HE JOINED THE LIVERPOOL SETUP.

RED WILLY

ed do you know? {ed's note - I thought the pair of them worked together at Barca and both were involved in that.}

Roy was saying he wouldn't buy ola toivonen as he is similar to torres. maybe he is a little bit but we should sign him and play him just behind the strikers

Reina

Carra Ayala Skrtel Suso

Gerrard Meireles Cole

Toivenen

Torres Forlan/ Adebayor
we should play young lad suso as he is a brilliant young player and all of you will probably agree.
we should swap agger and sotiros for skrtel and ayala every so often. Toivenen would feed torres and Forlan/ adebayor and would score goals and would improve tores and Forlan/ adebayors goal tally.
young talent would be added to the whole team aswel.
i myself think carra and gerrard would play brilliantly together up the wings and i think both of them play better on the wings aswel as gerrard did a few years ago and had a brilliant season
Anyone aggree with this team click believe
and disagree click disbelieve.

I would play Suso mate, yeah. but putting a forward at left back would be suicide especially at 16!

Hi all, firstly hats of to the ed for a great site, right down to changes firstly Roy is clearly not up for the job, which brings us to the next question who do we get?

Frank R the spotter was good at barcalona, this was due to ten cate. So nah!
A bit like rafa was good with pac o

So who?

Whoever it is has got one hell of a job.
Am not convinced by o neill cos he never took villa to the next level.

Secondly transfers

Required

A Striker a top draw one.
Centre half( shawcross, Cahill ) skrtel out agger stays
Weigh Johnston in for two new fullbacks koncheschys crap

Midfield
Out Lucas
Out Polsen he's not fit to play for the aigburth arms.
Sidewell defer with gerrard, bring the kids in the wings amoo and suso.

So ed don't take this the wrong way but you and your contacts were wrong then or what has changed in the lat 4 days because you were certain a new manager was coming asap

kopman {ed's note - I am still certain that a new manager is coming, I just think they were misled a little about how quickly it was being done. It makes sense for NESV to get the boardroom sorted and the right people in at that level first. Though I am still of the opinion that Roy is on borrowed time and they might well have dealt with that position first if we hadn't won today. But telling the players that a search is under way lifts the pressure on them, like having a job you hate but knowing it is only a short term thing and you will soon be starting a new one.}

Anyone agree? clubs should be kept in footballing hands, the only way to ensure the wellbeing of the sport. going down the foreign ownership route is dodgy, they arent all as generous as the sheik, you could end up getting a pair of fecks like we did. or worse, manure. they seem to be in a worse state than we are and still throwing 250k a week 2 shrek for 5 more years. glazers have the scum over a barrel. just a sneak peek into the future of english football? shame. its a business now, not a game.

1. it don't matter where there from aslong as they can provide the investments,

2. man utd have only threw 250k a week at shrek cos they want to make him more valuable in the summer, he will be gone, instead of 20-30 mill they will ask for 30-60 mill now they have hi tied down for 5 years, , , they want a huge deal like they got for ronaldo, , , and then that money will go on the debt a small portion maybe on a new player but they r only going downwards same way we did, only now the phoenix is rising again, , , ,

so are you still of the understanding that their is unrest in the camp and a new manager is on the horizon or do you think it will take the appointment of a new ceo before anythin happens because mate you were proper sure somethin would happen soon

kopman {ed's note - I am still sure that a new manager will be appointed as soon is one is found, but I am not sure when that is. I am of the opinion that NESV were probably stalling for time and they will use the search for staff at boardroom level as a reason to hold things up a bit. Not because they don't intend to change manager, but because they don't want to rush into things and get it wrong.}

Ed ive been on here in last few days and sent you a few mails my new one is your thoughts on this manager situation a quote of yours today

Joe Fagan ( Triple winner in 1984 ) 11 points in 11 games - have you been a supporter for 5 minutes? Hodgson is still here - so is Torres, Gerrard, Reina and all the others, no one has left yet - rumours ( uncorroborated of course ) say they are all unhappy with Roy Hodgson. Let's see on January 1st - and by the way I really don't believe Hodgson is up to the job - but I'm a realist - I cannot see anyone who knows what the EPL is all about and available -and please don't say Ryjkaard, Pellegrini - and all the other failed European managers. This is the Einglish football, with English mentality.

You don't back woy and same here but what with the Ryjkaard and pellegrini being failed european managers? very puzzling as your making out sucessfull managers in prem must either be english or have a good understanding of EPL. Wenger, Mourinho, Houliieer(spelling) Ranier. European managers with no EPL experince and done great with there teams. Ryjkaard would be great appotiment as would pellegreni. Who is your choice if you don't rate these men. {ed's note - I never called either of those failed managers mate. I rate Pellegrini highly and he would be one of the 4 I would want to pick from, the others being Sean O'Driscoll of Donnie (I know no one else wants him but he has worked wonders with Bournemouth and now Donni and I think he is capable of stepping up), Roberto Di Matteo and Michael Laudrup.}

Whoever mentioned Quique Sanchez Flores I think he is a great shout and would love him as our manager. Attack minded and only young so he could remain with us for years to come which is what need imo.

Any views on this guy Mr.Editor? {ed's note - I don't know, I have seen his teams play good football though, but I don't get the impression he would want to stay for the long haul. I am probably wrong, but it is just the way he comes across, and I would like someone to build a dynasty.}

Thanks, but who is he? i haden't even heard of him untill he scored agaist Scotland, what type of player is he? {ed's note - he plays for Bilbao, he is quick, strong, excellent in the air and has good movement. He is basically what Andy Carroll wishes he was, except Llorente doesn't have a history of attacking people.}

He's also the guy who kept torres out of the spain team at the world cup and his real name is Fernando Torres also

If Roy plays Poulsen or Maxi today, then he clearly has no idea - they have both been dreadful. And if Johnson is injured and he plays Carra instead of Kelly, I'll be swearing heavily at my television in the wee hours of the morning down here in Oz - come on Roy, get it right mate, I don't want to wake the kids up - LIVERPRES
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

ha - eating my words a little - Maxi was much improved, albeit still a bit weak and wasteful - at least he was in the game (for 70mins). Carra was immense at right back, but a bit slow I must say. I was ecstatic not to see Poulsen on the field though - well done Roy - tactics were better too - still woke the kids up when Torres scored! - LIVERPRES

ancelotti? 1st season in charge he won epl with chelsea. hardly even speaks the language mate, so of course a foreign manager could do the job, even without working in the country before. rjikaard is best bet to be honest. he has won trophies including ucl, hes attack minded, havent had a manager like that in 13 years since evans was at the helm. hes also available for nothing. everything we need at liverpool. this season our average goal count is just over 1 goal per game, not good enough. persuaded ( today ) to hold up the ball for nearly 20 mins, to grind out a 2 1 win? no way, we shouldve won 4 or 5 today. roy out {ed's note - you forgot about Wenger, he was successful from the word go.}

Heard Quique Sanchez Flores name mentioned here a while ago, but kind of discredited it.
But his name came up again today in conversation with a mate who lives in spain. Im actually thinking he may well be a suitable candidate.

Dont know a huge amount about him to be honest but my mate made these points. .

Apparently Flores likes attacking football
Reasonably well respected in the game (spain more so i guess)
May well keep the spanish players in the team happy

Anyone know anything else about him or whether he speaks english?

5. Stevan Jovetic - (Fiorentina)

Rafa a pawn - a famous Liverpool phrase comes to mind - MY APSE - and don't throw the Alonso thing in - he left because the pawn tried to sell him to Juventus the year before - and you are obviously privy to the financial side of LFC then - Alves, money owed from the Crouch etc - is that knowledge or the British Press you have got that from?

Lets get things straight today was better but still far from convincing we played well for an hour then sort of hung on for the last part . our better performers were the likes of maxi lucas and the greek so our so called star players are still not at it under roy . roy was not the man when appointed not the man now and not the man to take us forward and lets not forget we were playin a very average team who were missin their 2 first choice centre halfs

A certain breed of liverpool fan has become obsessed with the exotic, Frank Rijkaard is a bigger gamble than Hodgson was. .as is dalglish. .football has moved on it is more like a game of chess now. .get rafa back, everytime he spent big he got it right

Torres, Mascherano - the big signings - anybody with an average football couldn't have them wrong - start looking at 7 million for Dossena, 16 million for Johnson, bringing in Voronin etc - yep you are right an absolute genius - NOT. His ability and credibility left the day Paco found him out and left.

rafas belief was to employ a squad system, he would buy the players he needed to get the numbers upto what he needed, he didn't pay 16 mil for johnson he wanted alves 4 years earlier but the board wudnt back him, he got johnson because there was a lot of debt left from Crouch deal. He signed and would of kept hold of the best midfirlder in the wprld right now. Alonso. .Rafa became a pawn in what still is a football club not being run by football people. .yes MB is a fantastic business brain that has got rid of one but there is a certain irony to it in that football matters have yet to move on. .

I think people should get used to the fact that if and when roy does go, as it stands the new manager WILL be Frank Rijkaard. WHY?. Because the first person NESV will ask about the new manager is King Kenny(like they did in the summer).

And who was Kenny's first choice, only to be turned down by his THEN club? FRANK RIJKAARD.

So u have a definite clear choice,
ROY OR FRANK RIJKAARD. . .

Has anyone seen Coutinho play for Inter Milan? The boy can play! Not sure of how much cash would be necessary to turn his head but from what ive seen of him this year, the next club to get turned onto this SuperStar in the making will be Man City mark my words. . Id love to see Liverpool prove they mean business by trying to lure him away from Milan, hey and maybe a cheeky bid for Wesley too!

TO JOHN
I have supported Liverpool for 33 years, I am not suggesting that any of the managers you mentioned are up to the job, all I am saying is that more thought should have gone into the current manager situation.
Do you honestly believe Roy can keep our major stars happy or encourage the arrival of others, I personally doubt he can.Its heartbreaking to see our club in the position its in, I never thought in my lifetime i ever would.I also don't have a clue who could possibly sort it out for us, I'm just sure its not Roy and I mean the man no disrespect at all.

Seriously Ed I don't know what are your thoughts about that but I don't understand why is Roy staying quiet on all the rumours being announced that our star players want out. For example when you see that Manure is making a bid for torres I would like Roy to come forward and say we arent gonna sell to our biggest rival and show that he wants to bring the team forward and for that we will need all of our major assets. But Noooo Mr. Hogdson just stay quiet and i'm sure will bloody make a coup like the Aquilani one, loaning a player that was starting to find his ground and buy crap like Poulsen.

Come on guys lets face it despite the win today Roy is not the one to bring us forward, we are not bloody Fulham we are LIVERPOOL. He has to go and we need someone who will be able to grab the bull by its horn and show passion about the team and the players. Anyone agrees with me on that one? ?

()()

24 Oct 2010 21:07:49
Roy got lucky today . the players did play well today but again lacked the edge(combined with a blinder from robinson). bringing in the extra striker at the 78th min now seems like a norm he does it everygame regardless of our position in the game so that tactic is questionable . it would have been better if pachecho started today.

Agreed Roy should be given a chance post takeover but i for one will judge him on two things now

1. Can he get us wins in the next two games againsts bolton and chelsea meaning can he outsmart ancelotti which a liverpool manager needs to do

2. does he have the balls to field the right players example the greek even when johnson comes back cause honestly i think hes played well last three games and also if he gives 30 odd mins to shelvey or spearing (faith in youth)

we will find out next to game - believable if u agree

Has anyone seen Coutinho play for Inter Milan? The boy can play! Not sure of how much cash would be necessary to turn his head but from what ive seen of him this year, the next club to get turned onto this SuperStar in the making will be Man City mark my words. . Id love to see Liverpool prove they mean business by trying to lure him away from Milan, hey and maybe a cheeky bid for Wesley too!

To the person who said this :-

What a pathetic, fickle bunch most of you are, all of a sudden its "lets all get behind Roy" yesterday was all about how soon we could get him out.
One half decent result does not change a thing, we are still in the bottom 3 and as a team we do not have a devine right to always be in the "big four".We still do not have the right manager to take us forward and to be honest his words of "here for the long haul" filled me with dread.If you are happy with mediocre possible signings of the likes of Carlton Cole then so be it, you are all entitled to your views and opinions, but this is Liverpool F.C, not Fulham or Stoke or any other mid-table team(no offence to them).We need a manager who can secure the services of our major players and who can encourage the services of other world class signings, Roy is not that manager.

I thought John Henry said today would be a special day at anfield for more than one reason. Was just questioning something I read on here earlier.

{Editor's Note: I can't figure why everyone has to disect everything that is said looking for hidden messages.}

The editors right, why do peole always look for conspiracy theories, what do they think it is? The da Vinci code?

Do you think Danny Lee should be moved on ed? {ed's note - if you mean Sammy Lee, then I have no doubt in my mind that he should not be employed by any club wanting to move forwards. He is a terrible coach who should not be still coaching in the Premier League.}

I have a relative working @ Anfield (administration) I was him asking about A Harper joining scouting staff and apart from the newspaper stories he hasn't heard or seen anything from a personal point of view I thought it was a good move to have someone scouting around the UK as we (LFC) to only want to buy seem toplayers from European leagues Coleman @ everton being an example of good local scouting yeh I know he was playing in Ireland but I hope you all understand. As for today kelly shpuld have played RB but maybe RH will give him another chance I still hope that RH will be shown the door (see TTT for the facts and figures of woy v rafa over their first 14 games) but for now I'll take the 3pts

I don't think Hoarau would compliment Torres Ed, But he is a good shout as a replacement.We would need to buy quality on the wings if we got him.No good having a giant striker if cole and maxi crosses, can't beat the first defender.

To those calling for the purchase of more center backs:

A good defense doesn't come from the individual abilities of the center backs, but their ability to work together and communicate. Most of the goals we've given up have come from a failure by our defenders to communicate and close down areas, rather than any individual error.

Therefore, the purchase of any more defenders won't help the chemistry of the defense, and it won't help our defense become more secure.

Is it me or does lucus look really solid tucked just behind gerrard, meireles and cole. almost a 4-1-4-1 line up. I think shelvy and jova need some time on the field both looking good right now. I do think we could be dominant in attack with a 4-1-3-2 line up. In other words a strike partner for torres.

Please Please Please NESV sack hodgson. I know it isn't the liverpool way but he clearly isn't the right man for the job. NESV want us to win. We won't win anything under Hodgson. Also, the arrogance of the man is disgraceful. He said: "Frank Rijkaard has just been sacked from Galatasaray - he must be a great manager to have been sacked by Galatasaray!''

Says the man who has lead a great club with some world class players to 18th in the league and was sacked by Blackburn. I don't know if he knows this but Rijkaard is the reason that Barca are as good as they are now. He started them off. If Hodgson didn't know this then his knowledge of football is worrying.

We need Pellegrini to add that Spanish flair to our team and unite the dressing room. In his year at Real he made a great impact on the dressing room to the extent of some of the first team players requesting he wasn't sacked to make way for Mourinho. He did a wonderful job at Villareal too.

Believe If you think hodgson is the wrong man for the Job. Just to see what our other fans think. and Ed what do you think?

{Editor's Note: I think he should be given time without the turmoil of the ownership in the background.}

I personally think that torres. reina and johnson have played a blinder, much like mr roonry at manure. its a telling sign to all the powers that be at liverpool, to buy quaility or we will go, there is a good core at liverpool and they are not in any need for a major rebuild, maybe 3 or 4 quaility players short, but if we keep replacing players like masch with players like poulsen it won't take long for the club to decline at a rapid pace.i think roy will be given till at least xmas rightly or wrongly and wud be interested to see what type of player roy has identified when there is money to spend, when money was tight he signed poulsen, and when there was money after masch he signed merieles, what are your thoughts on that ed?

Having attended today's match I am smiling all over. The atmosphere in the ground was far better and it was heart warming to see Gerry Marsden on the pitch prior to the kick off to lead us in a fine chorus of 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. From the kick off and throughout the first half, it became obvious that Liverpool were playing with far greater verve than of late. There were chances galore and the players showed no hint whatsoever of the unrest that had been reported by The Daily Mail. No surprise there, given the Daily Mail's tendency to print negative stories about our club. The second half began well for us, and our Greek Acropolis (high place) thoroughly deserved his goal, having been a threat throughout. The ease with which Blackburn equalized was worrying, but Liverpool showed great drive and passion to restore their lead. Anyone looking for indications of a rift between Torres and his team mates as they celebrated in front of the Kop will have been disappointed, because all I noticed was delight. All in all a much better match to attend than the Northampton and Blackpool matches which I also witnessed from my seat near the Paddock. My final comment is for those so-called fans who wanted our team to lose today. Shame on you. Go and offer your 'support' to someone else. We don't need you.

Just to make a quick point to those that think selling Torres would be a good move.
Yes we would get a decent fee for what is a world class player, but we would only be able to attract average players, because at best we will finish top 10.
So why the hell would aguero or llorente want to come to a club with no champions league. Start thinking logically please and stop playing football manager on your pc.

The win today will hopefully give the boys a confidence boost and we can move onwards and upwards.

Directors, Manager, Players have been slaughtered at some point since the start of the season. Yes the manager more than most although he only has himself to blame. As supporters we have suffered from the ownership battle, rumours that players want to leave and ultimately poor performances on the pitch.

Well for tonite lets take a break from our suffering. Today I saw a really good performance. We attacked and could have been 5 or 6 up by 70 mins. We began to get nervous and sat back. This will change as we build confidence. For tonite lets just enjoy. Sit down with a beer and do something we have not done for a while. Look forward to the highlights on match of the day.

When you watch a game like today and we play well you can see how we could improve. We need the following;

Centre back
Left Mid
Holding Mid (Not sure if Shelvey could develop into this role)
Striker

No, I live in Ireland and I didn't say we should sell Pepe. I made a comment based on people and papers reporting that Reina, Torres & Johnson have had enough and want out. I wouldn't dream of selling him. He is by far Liverpool's best player. But, if people and the papers were correct and he did in fact want out, then Given would do an adequate job.

Now jog on!

Just got back from the game, Ed.Must be happy with the performance, but for the last 20 minutes when he used two banks of 4.Rafa used to do the same and it frustrates the hell out of me.I feel for the young lads in the squad, as they will not get a chance, under this manager.Carra was at fault for the goal, he got sucked into the middleand diouf just followed him in. Carra failed for the 2nd time in a week to stop a simple cross.I really think he is on borrowed time now.

I agree with the sentiment that this was Blackburn we outplayed at HOME. Blackburn are also struggling with a really rubbbish manager. However it was a better performance and the thing to take from this is the confidence it will hopefully give. Even Maxi R played well. . The whole team played well and played for each other. Dressing room unrest maybe speculation at most but another poor run and it will be talk of the town.
One small step. Let's hope there is another next weel against Bolton

Why did you say it at half time, that was the best first half performance for ages, I don't care if we lose the next 3 games 1-0 with the goals coming of the back of somebodies head every time. We need wins, pure and simple. The more wins the better the confidence, then we play better and win things. . in theory.

The Greek is a liability at the back, but a massive threat when attacking corners.
Today, he scored a goal from a corner, but was at fault for the goal we conceded because he was out of position.
I'm not sure about him. I think he's worth keeping in the squad for his ability from corners, but he shouldn't be starting. He can't defend.

24 Oct 2010 18:41:07
I acknowledge that we were only playing Blackburn but at least we managed to keep the ball and attack - something we didn't manage to do against Blackpool or Everton.

Winning, no matter who it comes against, will improve the confidence of the players and allow us to improve each week.

We need the new owners to make reasonable inevstment in January and more importantly, we need the manager to spend the funds wisely. I'd rather we sign 1 quality player for 20-25m instead of three 8m players. It would be great if we could sign three 20-25m players but that's wishful thinking.

We urgently need a winger with more quality and a support forward. 25m from the owners and selling Babel, Lucas (I actually prefer him to Poulsen but its unlikely that Roy would sell a player that he just signed) and Aqua should allow for the squad improvements we need.

Also, i think playing Johnson on the right of midfield could improve our width and attacking options without having him weakening our defence.

Totally backing the manager!?! I can not believe you can say this after an average performance against blackburn, who are the only team in the league who still play hit & hope! Any team we have played against so far who have attacked us by playing decent football have caused us huge problems (even west brom who we beat, but didn't really deserve to). People say (and rightly) that to call for a mangers head after 1 loss/ bad performance is wrong, but equally it is wrong to declare total support after just one win!

There are only two games we have to play up to xmas that i wouldn't "demand" liverpool should win - chelsea at home and spurs away, the other 8 should be definite 3 pointers for liverpool. So from our next 10 league games; 8 wins minimum and i'll think about supporting hodgson. anything less and it shows (more so than has already been show) that he isn't the man for us.

The rumours of Torres, Reina and Johnson being unsettled and wanting to leave are worrying. But, then again, something like this may happen which may bring about a better squad due to Torres being constantly injured and Johnson being incompetent throughout the majority of every game:

Out:
Torres - 50million
Reina - 15-20million
Johnson - 10million

Replacements
Given - 10million
Llorente/ Dzeko - 25million
Ageuro/ Suarez - 30million
Play Kelly/ Darby at right back
And, money left over for a winger & centre half.

It would be a shame, but it could be turned into a positive if it does indeed happen.

Uh, you do know that we need a new goalkeeper right?How about Stekelenburg?

- - - - - -

That's why I suggested Given.

in response to this how you only rate reina at 15-20m is daft he is by far the best keeper in prem and is worth betwen 30-35m as his contract is massive and he alone probably adds us at least 15points per season, but given would be good but not at 10m id pay 7m max and if not i would go for de gea 10m quality up and coming keeper and would do well for us.

I think liverpool learnt a lot from everton. They closed down all blackburn players throughout like the everton players did against us.
And they finally realised attack is the best way to win a football match. Maxi was superb. . He linked pretty well with torres. So did cole. Even fullbacks were good. . And our corners were such a threat thanks to soto.
I always felt he should be given a fair chance. He seems alot commited which is exactly what we ve needed. Great game. Great attacking football.
Moral of the story-keep the axe by hodgson's neck always, and he ll come up with this. . More attacking football at the reebok stadium and we ll be in a good position to beat chelsea !
Ed. Do you agree with my views?

This is the best we've played this season, still don't think Hodgson is up to it. Today the players showed some bit of fighting spirit, it looked like the players just said forget about Hodgsons tactics and we'll play how we think we should, don't get me wrong we played alright today but we need alot more improvement. What do you think Ed?

{Editor's Note: I have not seen the problems you have been seeing I am afraid. The team need time to stabilise and it seems that heads have been crewed on the right way around today. Pretty good news.}

I thought we played quite well today not perfect but best we have played all season
the greek was very impressive today and a goal my man of the match
torres on the scoresheet and looked much sharper
maxi stepped up today played much better and didn't go missing
good 3 points and it could have been 4 or 5 if robinson didn't play so well
all in all a marked improvement now id Roy says that's the best performance so far i will have to agree with him and actually believe he watched the same game.
for all those fans that wante kelly in toay - i woul have gone with Roy on this as cara was able to battle for the long ball game that the fat tw@ likes to play and was never going to get taken to the byline by trickery - kelly would have been targeted by long diagonal balls all game, maybe kelly will play against a team that uses width not long ball merchants like allardyce's teams always play

Good win. Feels good to see us play good football. We're still poor defensively. Konchesky is still the weak link in our defensive. We need agger and the greek as our cb. The greek because he's been having a good season and agger because he's very mobile which the greek lacks.

Well done to maxi, lucas and raul. Those 3 stepped it up a level (but raul did start in his favourite position for once to be fair to him). Is it me or has Torres found his pace. Last game he was slow as a snail but today he looked lot faster. He worked hard which shows to me he's still 100% behind Liverpool fc.

Question for the editor or whoever else might be able to answer. Why was Dani Pacheco given the number 12 shirt? I just cannot understand it. I thought this meant his big breakthrough was about to arrive and he would be in the first team all the time. Instead he has only got a couple sub cameos and now does not even make the bench. Tell me what you think.

Good win today but there is still a lot I don't like about our play and our setup.
On the backline, why do we play Skrtel and Soto. Those are two physical centre-halfs with no skill. I understand the need for a commanding presence in our own box, especially against a team like Blackburn, but we do not need two. I would pair Soto (who I think is excellent at what he does and is much more consistent than Skrtel) with Danny Wilson or Martin Kelly. Konch was OK at left back. And Carra played great at right back but he just does not have the pace to do that all the time.
I like that central midfield a lot. The only thing I might change would be Shelvey in for Lucas but I can understand the choice of the more experienced and more defensive minded Lucas.
The wingers were awful. Joe Cole cuts inside to his right far too much. And how many crosses did he actually put in? On the right Maxi was even worse. Why does he keep playing? Is it in his contract or perhaps one of his mates like Torres is demanding that he plays? I dunno but I do know that he is worthless. Never does anything positive.
Torres played well and showed flashes of what we expect from him. The goal was great but I was more encouraged by his energetic play in holding up the ball and winning corners and coming out wide to attack Blackburns fullbacks. The touch and burst still are not quite there yet but I think this match shows that his heart is still in it. Ngog was not great but he only had about three touches.
Sorry for the essay guys. Tell me what you think.

A massive 3 points and thoroughly deserved but by no means anything more than average in terms of performance. Blackburn was absolutely awful and created nothing. Yes you can only beat what's in front of you but we should've won by 3 or 4 today. For some reason (apart from for 5mins after the 2nd goal) we stopped playing and just dropped deep. This was the perfect game for babel as soon as we went 2-1 up. And shelvey's introduction? pointless!

I still see nothing that convinces me hodgson is the right man for us.

but kyrgiakos continues his "player of our season so far" performances. fair play to him.

meireles was replaced because he was booked and there was no point in risking him. shelvey was the best replacement available.

Ed, in order for lfc to be successful we need a new manager atm, get the highest position we possibly can, buy honda in january and a striker but for the future these are the players we need for balance strength, youth, passing team and techniically very good.
outs
lucas(does absolutely nothing, technically POOR)
poulsen(not good enough, too old)
kuyt(work horse but not good enough in any positon and too old, 31 this year, not for the future of lfc)
maxi(30 an not good enough)
skrtel(not good enough, no understanding with carra) the greek(give wilson and ayala a chance)
konchesky or aurelio(not good enough, mavinga a chance)

INS
aquero or dkezo(just one. both young an FUTURE STARS)
turan(has PACE.score goals.one 4 future and YOUNG)
gareth bale(will cost a buck but should be our top priority. tall. .has pace. work horse. technically very good and can core goals)
taiwo( young. powerful. good defender. great potential and cheap)
sergio busquets(if macherano stays in barcas 1st eleven.then we could get him. YOUNG. tall, technially vey good and potential 2 be world class in his position)

FUTURE TEAM
REINA

KELLY WILSON AGGER TAIWO

TURAN GERRARD SERGIO BUSQUETS BALE

TORRES DKEZO

second choice:johnson, jones, carrager, ayala, mavinga, j.cole,
shelvy, ngog, pacheo, merieles.honda

that liverpool team would have youth, strength, quality, become a great passing team and most importanly WIN TROPHIES

ED. what do you think with that squad and the second choice players. like shelvy and pacheo left with plenty of time to be given a chance? {ed's note - forget Bale, he is never going to move to Liverpool, and for anyone to talk about paying the kind of money he would cost would be lunacy anyway. He hasn't even played well for an entire season yet ffs, he was so bad for most of last season that Spurs were set to loan him out until injuries hit. He has all the attributes required to be a top player, but he has a lot to do to prove himself worthy of the amount of money that Spurs would want to let him go. They don't need to sell, so they are only going to sell for crazy money. And his comments about Scousers and Liverpool show that he would never join Liverpool and should not be welcomed if he does.}

Hi Ed and the rest of the Red's fans, Just saw the starting 11 and holy mackeral!I taught Roy would at least and try and save his job No Danny Pacheo(spelling) again is he injured? He needs to start Jay Spearing and Jon Joe and Amoo with the likes of Gerrard, Cole, Torres with this sort of player's around them as young up and coming pro footballers they will try to impress and surpass the more experienced lad's to show the whole football world what they can do, I said it before bleed in the young blood with our best players and we'll get the best outta them not put them all in together in the leauge cup.
I know a defeat would mean Roy closer to the door but if "big Sam" get's a win at Anfield I'll probably jump in the river Liffey and a change is needed at the helm but if we pick up as many points on the way all the better still think no matter the results Roy is gone soon enough.

Yet again, 4 central midfielders, a slow and ageing right back, instead of a young fit one, a slow and not interested winger instead of a fast, young exciting one, a world class centre forward - who isn't suited to a lone striker role crying out for a partner - up front on his own - is it me or have our last 2 managers completely lost the plot. And if we win ( which please if there is a god up there he lets us win by a good margin ) - lo and behold our manager will be reprieved. - BRING IN SEAN O'DRISCOLL - NOW, not when it's too late and we can't finish top 4.

The one and only reason we aren't winning any matches is because Hodgson doesn't have the balls to drop his 'experienced players' for the youngsters. Who has impressed more, Shelvey in one match or Maxi in his 2 seasons? Amoo has being doing brilliantly and would provide WAY more pace than Maxi.

Only one thing pisses me off alot though. Why the hell doesn't Hodgson play Jovanovic!? He is in form and played well against Napoli.

Can he be trusted? {ed's note - I don't think he has the balls to drop experienced players for youngsters, his comments about it being unfair in midweek showed that. It is not unfair to drop a player playing poorly, there is not one player, who played against Everton, who could complain about being dropped.}

I personally think Torres has lost faith & is ready to jump ship, I say if he wants to go let him, what I have a problem with is the uncomprehensible decision to replace him with Forlan. I mean seriously Torres is 26 Forlan is 31 & had an absolute shocker in the prem before playing for the scum. Now before everybody says it I am not saying I believe paper speculation, I am just worried about the kind of players we seem to be linked with, Im not sure about our scouts(missed loads of potential). would Roy even know a decent player if one fell out of the sky & hit him on that chin he keeps stroking. . . I don't have faith in him to turn things around & I don't think the players do, so surely the unrest must have filtered back to NESV. I for one think spending large sums on older players is not going to be a sound investment, we should be looking to youth and nurturing the talent and taking risks to involve these players in the first team. I think I speak for most fans when I say we want a manager who brings back the excitement of a match day, the confidence that my team can take on anyone, the players playing with there heart on their shirt rather than a club crest and that fighting spirit that went down in history in Istanbul. Father Christmas if your listening. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Hi, I just noticed a Spuds fan on here, talking up their connections with Ipswich.

I'd just like to clear this up: Spuds put in a bid in the summer which was rejected and they were told he would cost 10m. Old 'Arry thought the price was ridiculous and tried to soften Ipswich up by giving them crap youth players. There is only one club that might get him for a cut price and that's Liverpool. Wickham has supported Liverpool since birth and has publicly said Fernando Torres is his hero. Wickham would no doubt jump at the chance to train and play with his heroes and try to push the deal through.

Obviously his statement has fallen on deaf ears and the Mancs continue to link him with them and the Spuds continue to deny that he would reject them for a 'lesser' club.

I hope this doesn't come out as a rant, i'm just saying what i believe Conor Wickham will do, as any Liverpool fan would.

If I took two and a half years of that in Milan I can take two and a half years of it here.

"It ended up with my being offered a new contract by Inter when I left for Blackburn.

"The doom and gloom that surrounds us is not coming from within the club, not from me and not from the players - it's coming from people outside who are having a field day and delighting in the fact we are having a bad time.I think there is a lot of sense in these comments from Hodgson. There may be a few LFC fans whinging , but mainly Bitters and Mancs stirring the s- t !

I do have some concerns myself whether Roy is 'big enough' for the job , but he is a decent coach, maybe a bridge too far for him.

I expect a change at the end of the season however, maybe a foreigner again! Maybe Hiddink !

end of the season?. . .WE WILL BE RELEGATED!

Cara. . . . .Soto. . . . Skrtel. . . . .Konchesky
. . . . . . . Meireles. . . Lucas. . . . . . .
Maxi. . . . . . .Gerrard. . . . . . .Joe Cole. . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Torres. . . . . . . .

Subs:Jones, Aurelio, Kelly, Jovanovic, Shelvey

and still, . we're gonna play more defensive. .

The rumours of Torres, Reina and Johnson being unsettled and wanting to leave are worrying. But, then again, something like this may happen which may bring about a better squad due to Torres being constantly injured and Johnson being incompetent throughout the majority of every game:

Out:
Torres - 50million
Reina - 15-20million
Johnson - 10million

Replacements
Given - 10million
Llorente/ Dzeko - 25million
Ageuro/ Suarez - 30million
Play Kelly/ Darby at right back
And, money left over for a winger & centre half.

It would be a shame, but it could be turned into a positive if it does indeed happen.

Ed with all the cARp being touted that reina, johnson and torres aint happy and are trying to get moves out in jan, welli say we must keep hold of reina, but the other 2 can go if they want to as we have a better rb in kelly and torres is trggling with injuries, i would love for torres to stay but it looks like he wants out so sell him for 50m and with that sign llorente-15m or dzeko-30m or suarez-20m or bent-15m and then we can overhaul the team just off the sale of 1 big player

OUTS

JOHNSON-15M
TORRES-50M
MAXI-6M
LUCAS-7M
POULSON-3M
JOVA-6M
BABEL-9M
AQUALANI-14M
DEADWOOD-15M
TOTAL- 125M

INS

BENT-15M
DEFOUR-12M
BENEGA-12M
TURAN-12M
WICKHAM-10M
SUAREZ-20M
CAHILL-15M
CONTRAO-13M, TAIWO-7M, GIBBS-8M
GOOD SOLID RB-13M
TOTAL-123M

then we would have a squad of players and would only need good youth to progress

{Editor's Note: I think we would be lucky to get £30M for Torres right now.}

To the editor- how would you feel about us signing Jose Enrique as our left back- personally I think he's quality. He would want to come to Liverpool, as it would give him a better chance of playing for the national team, and he would not need to adapt to the english league.

{Editor's Note: We have sufficient cover at left back - so no need.}
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

don't mean to be rude ed but I think left back is a poor position (not the most important position though) but we have konchesky who has done alright attackingly but done poorly defensively. We have lost many goals due to konchesky poor defending

Aurélio is very injury prone player. Can struggle in pl due to his physical strength.

I admit that lb is not biggest concern but he are weak in that position {ed's note - different ed, but I think we just need to give Mavinga a chance rather than looking to bring in another over-priced player who isn't really good enough.}

Personally, i don't think Dalglish wants the job as if he did, he would have got it. i would appoint martin oneil Because. .
1) he is a good manager who wouldn't let players slack
2) he, i think, would bring along Asley young in January/ Summer
3) I believe he would give the youngsters a chance
4) him and Dalglish (as an assisstant) would think tactically, game by game
Bad points:
1) got a bit of a temper
2) demands respect which some players won't give
3) i wouldn't know if he would make the right transfers

what do you think
Yes-believable no-unbelievable

We're in a transitional period & the damage left by Rafa & Roy will take years to repair. . NO title any when soon. Football is a simple game, but if you don't replace players with better players you won't perform i.e. Poulson for Lucas. I thought Lucas wad bad, but Poulson is worse. If we have money in January then we need to buy quality & not quantity. I'd rather see £20m on one player than three average players.
Sell Torres & use money to strengthen team. I love Torres, but he's always injured so a sale for £50m + would get us 2 quality strikers. My choice would be Rossi & Llorente

Hodgson is not stupid he knows he should not lose his reputation and he will resign later today.John W.Henry said today will be a special day at anfield for more than one reason.In my view this means he knows Hodgson will resign and has a manager lined up already.
The three possibilities are
~Frank Rijkaard:would bring a passing and moving style of play
~Kenny Dalglish:would bring and attacking style of play but hasnt managed a team in a while.
~Martin O'Neill:would bring a balanced style of play whilst using the wings a lot.(he would need new wingers!)

Hi everyone,
I have read on our club website that we have 30 million pounds to spend. On top of this, I believe that we should sell the following players:
Lucas £6m
Jovanovic £6m
Poulsen £2m
Babel £7m
Rodriguez £6m
These prices are realistic and this would mean that we have an extra 27 million pounds (total of 57 million).

With the 57 million, I would buy the following players:
Young £14m
Turan £12m
Mexes £8m
Llorente £15m
Defour £8m

Here is our potential team:
GK- Reina, Jones
LB- Konchesky, Kelly
CB- Agger, Skrtel
CB- Mexes, Carragher
RB- Johnson, Aurelio
LM- Turan, Cole
CM- Defour, Meireles
CM- Gerrard, Spearing
RM- Young, Kuyt
ST- Llorente, N'Gog
ST- Torres, Pacheco

The rumours of Torres, Reina and Johnson wanting out are just that, rumours. Anyway, unlike the Rooney saga all 3 still have plenty of time left on their contracts (Reina has over half a decade), putting Liverpool FC in the driving seat. Players these days seem to think they've got a god given right to win matches, cups, Leagues, Etc. You have to earn the right to be successful, gone are the days when the so called 'smaller' clubs go to places like Anfield and roll over. All 11 players have to want to play for the shirt they are wearing, and if they don't we are better off without them (Torres included).
I do not think Roy is the manager to take us to our 1st EPL title, but the fact is that he is our manager. So until he is removed lets stop undermining him and give him the support that we have given every manager we have ever had (even G.Souness). Lets make Anfield a place to be feared again. Its a long drive back to wales if we don't get 3 points

Apparently today we are interested in Diego Forlan, Ashley Young, but we could sell Torres to get them, which Is a bad option in my eyes, Forlan is only rated 15 million so do you think he'd be a good signing for the next 3 years until Dani and Ngog have developed into the complete package?

. . .Do you seriously see Ngog improving? Also with Torres leaving, Reina will follow then so will young Pacheco, especially as he is not getting a fair crack right now. With Torres leaving there will be one hell of a butterfly effect and not a good one either.

To ed, i noticed a post regarding conor wickham! as a spurs fan and from what i know is he may well be on his way to WHL! i know for a fact he has been shown around the ground and the lodge, as well as meeting the players. spurs have complied with ipswich towns every wish i.e the loaning of players now (livermore & townsend) plus future loan players, spurs and ipswich do have a close connection with players moving too and from both clubs! now i know this doesn't mean he will be joining spurs but it does seem to be going in thay direction hence one of the reasons he is a little unsettled at portman road as now

{Editor's Note: He is certainly sought after. But we don't want to see another Bostock or Amoo situation where players' careers end up stalled as opportunities dry up.}

Football Rumours

To who posted this. . .

Editor - I am hearing reports that Pepe Reina, Torres & Johnson are all angling for a move out of Liverpool in January, apparently there is no team morale.

Why would they be so unhappy after a takeover? Do you think they have been told that there will be no money made available? Personally i cannot understand why they want out right now? Have they been tapped up?

It is true, all 3 have contacted agents regarding moves away. Other players are not happy with the team set up/ tactics/ training methods etc. This was from a VERY GOOD scource last Wednesday. If something doesn't happen shortly then i am afraid that there will be a mass exodus of players that we DO NOT want to move away. - - Very disheartened red who has supported the club since 1971.

We keep in contact once in awhile online (Msn) and i can confirm Reina is clearly unhappy with the situation and want to leave. He don't want to specify in detail but mentioned too many changes for his dislike, not playing to his strength and he think he being lied.

What do you mean not playing to his strengths! He's a goalkeeper for god's sake, he saves the ball, and he does it brilliantly.

I can't see us winning today , but if we do I feel concerned that people will feel Roy is turning it around and leave him in charge . but according to reports pepe reina is not happy now so something Roy is doing is the problem cause last pepe was first to sign six year contract and we were in dire straights at the time so why the change of heart must be Roy . Agree or disagree . Psvelnino

{Editor's Note: It is perfectly plausible that Reina's reported issues are to do with Rafa Benitez not being there as much as Roy Hodgson being there.}

Oh well - there are not a huge number of Liverpool supporters inputting on this site ( which isn't bad for a laugh about peoples aspirations ), and as most on this site agree Roy is not up to the job, but appointing Frank Ryjkaard will be the final nail in the coffin.

You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear - he'll carry on playing the under achievers ( and non triers ) that we have on our books ( mainly purchased by the Fat Waiter ) and will ignore some of the extremely talented youngsters we have, will our next manager play players in the positions they were bought, if so we'll have 5 International central midfielders, 5 centre forwards, 1 International winger, 4 centre halves, 1 average right back and 2 left backs, not looking promising whoever takes charge. I'm with the ED - go back to 1962 - bring in a relative newcomer from the lower divisions - and bring in Sean O'Driscoll, he has passion, vision and ego's will mean nothing to him. She*p, we can't do any worse.

I really want to back Roy - I really do - so I'm giving him one more chance to get it right. And I'm going to make it as easy for him as possible.
After all the recent poor games, Roy, you can have one more to prove yourself to me as worthy of managing Liverpool.
It is at Anfield. There are no major injury worries to compromise your team selection. It is played on the euphoric wave of the recent takeover. It is against a struggling team (one place above us) who's manager is synonymous with long-ball philosophy (so no major tactical battles). And you have a team of internationals who have been laughed at by the media (and Evertonians) and have a lot to prove. Oh. .if you need any extra motivation, your neck is on the block, we're in the relegation zone and you have made the worst start in god knows how many years.
Prove us wrong, Roy, please. We know you have the experience, and there's a serious lack of quality managers to replace you. . but please show us the reason so many top level people backed you for this job as we haven't seen a peep of your abilities so far.
Now a win against Blackburn shouldn't be too hard, should it?

SANCHEZ FLOREZ lined up to be the new Liverpool manager not RijKard. Its reported in spanish papers. good record in Benifica, valencia and A.madrid. That will convince Torres to stay. Aguero will be the big signing to partner Torres. NESV are planning to spend considerably big just for once and rebuild the team with young and motivated players. about £40-50 mil the exact figure for January and summer together.once they reignite the energy around fans and the players themselves, they intend to make the club spend on only one or two or none quality players every season. Players purchases will be closely assessed and evaluated by board members.

This is what Uncle Roy came out with yesterday. . .

"Rijkaard has just been sacked from Galatasaray - he must be a great manager to have been sacked by Galatasaray! What you are talking about is Frank Rijkaard's agent putting his name around. It is all speculation."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Like i keep saying Roy has lost touch with reality.

These quote's were taking from an article of the Telegrath which they also say "The Dutchman, a Champions League winner at Barcelona, has been linked with Liverpool for months and one supporter's website even had him taking over in time for today's encounter with Blackburn"

I'm convined it is this site they are talking about. IF so then keep up the good work people and hopefully Roy will take the hint.

Just wotching 1st divison football and wotched Radosław Majewski goal for nottingham forest. He seems to be a bit of player. Just wondering why liverpool never give first division players a chance at anfield, but everton had and found some real nice players lower down. I think Ashly young came from the 1st divison too. So lower clubs do find premiership plahyers. so why don't liverpool ever scout for english talent

David Bentley - Always thought he was quality and seems to be rotting away at tottenham
Steve Sidwell - I like steve sidwell workrate in midfield. He should be playing every week.

Why would they be so unhappy after a takeover? Do you think they have been told that there will be no money made available? Personally i cannot understand why they want out right now? Have they been tapped up?

Ed how much do u rate jarvis of wolves at a every game ive seen him this year he looks to be an average player but isn't affraid to run at teams, im just wondering if roy has looked at brunt and other players and c-cole who is s* t then why not try to get jarvis as he would offer us something different, natural width with pace and plays with no fear

Attack is the best form of defense:

Leighton baines (would be great for liverpool instead of him going to Bayern Munich for12million)

David Bentley - Always thought he was quality and seems to be rotting away at tottenham

Steve Sidwell - I like steve sidwell workrate in midfield. He should be playing every week.

Roque Santa Cruz - Santa is wasting his time at man city.

I think all these players could add something to our team.

Macca, i highly doubt your sources man coz i've my friend tom who is a close mate to ian ayre as well and they never thought of giving Roy more games to sort it out. It was just that the board was busy installing new board members

Mate why don't you get your mate Tom to ask Ian if he is pals with Macca and then we can check who is talking sh*te. .

With regards Hodgson staying or going, he has to go.
The info that i was given was that he needed 6 points from 2 games, i hope that is not enough.

You are right there are lots going behind the scenes at the moment. Someone else may come in and make a decision sooner. . He will be replaced, it is just a matter of when.

I have no idea who the new manager will be.

Not a rumour but does anyone agree Alan smith is worth considering? I know he's ex Leeds and manure but has several good points
He's crap
Has pride passion drive and talent in abundance
He's crap
Can play in any central midfield role
He's crap
Has played for England as a striker and who would be better at holding the ball up and playing in Torres or waiting for the midfield to join
He's crap
He would not be expensive
He's crap
In 18 months would be a great squad player and he would allow us to sell poulsen and Lucas to fund more attacking players
He's crap
Plus he's said to be a famy lad and this would put him a little trip down the 62
But he's still crap! !

I have to agree he is carp! lol

Ok, just to pull in the pro and anti Roy Hodgson peole together.

Lets say we give Roy until January to turn things around, lets be generous. .

So Roy stays until January. . . . at the moment from the Arsenal game at Anfield (where actually we should have won), we appear to have got progressively worse as a team, the results have got worse, the tactic and the team selection have. . . .you guessed it got worse.
The negativity in after match interviews has got worse. Lets give him until the january transfer window where he can spend the money on 2 worse players than we let go on loan(Poulsen and Konchesky) and let a good player(Aquilani) and an upcoming player(Insua) go out on loan with a view to not coming back. . . . Lets back Roy because he inherited a weak squad. . .which has now got weaker because of HIM.

So to anybody who wants roy to stay until January, just remember. . WE AREN'T IMPROVING AND HE HAS WEAKENED THE SQUAD. All those 'pro' Hodgson people just remember that with us being in the bottom 3 and NOT IMPROVING. .IN EIGHT GAMES, we are only going to be relegated. YES, I WILL BACK THE MANAGER TILL JANUARY. But bearing in mind the above FACTS, THEN WHY SHOULD I BACK HIM?.

BUT I WILL BACK HIM. . .JUST WHY THOUGH?

If you would like to comment on WHY i should back him until January, feel free to tell me WHY?

ed, be grateful for your thoughts on any of the above.

YNWA

JFT96 {ed's note - there is no point giving him until January when he is on borrowed time, things will just get worse.}

Absolutely Ed that's why i have written this post, the pro roy people don't seem to get it. . . probably out after the chelsea game i would think, wouldn't you?
