José Antonio Reyes to join ex team mate Maxi at Liverpool FC in January window to give pace and quality delivery to their RW. £12m bid expected.

With stevie g not getting any younger and now crocked,is it now the time to look for a replacement. Last summer there was talk of Steven defor of liege but that talk has gone quiet. Have we lost interest as there was lots of gossip over the summer. {Ed002's Note - He moved to Porto in the summer.}

He's also got dodgy knees and is often out injured. He doesn't get in the Belgian national side first 11 now either. Don't think he fulfilled his promise from a few years back which is why he went to Portugal.

To Be honest Eds the out of favour david Villa and kaka could be on there way but i was reading villa will go chelea to play along side torres and mata but then he aid he ha got so much love for liverpool and he wold like to play english football before he retires but then kaka i on his way to a english football team i dont know yet but liverpool are keeping close eye along side fulham chelsea spur and arsenal

Liverpool are going back in villa cos his place at nou camp is under threat. True eds? {Ed002's Note - I really don't see Villa, who has never wanted to play outside of Spain, joining Liverpool in January. He is just about 30 years old and will perhaps cost £30M in the summer - and I am not so sure that is an ideal fit with club policy.}

I the price were more reasonable, say 15-20m AND he actualy wanted to come. I'd say it might be worth the investment for a 2-3 year return on goals.

Still cant believe some fans actually think villa is gonna come. Why sign a 30 yr old striker who will cost 30 million n command high wages. get realistic, it will be a low profile but effective striker like luuk de jong who will join.

Loan with a view to buy in Jan for £30 - 35 mil. (oh no thats FIFA!) It would be nice to have him however common sense tells me that everything is stacked against this move, no CL, age, price, wages, never wants to leave Spain etc etc. I do however think that we need a predatory box striker as we create chances for fun but don't make the most of them.......an Andy Carrol perhaps!
If 30 million will bring CL then its worth. Not 110% sure but sure villa would taken all chances we missed.

Hey eds, do you think an offer for Benjamin Corgnet in January is likely? And what do you think about this player because I don't know to be honest? {Ed002's Note - Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa have apparently had folks watch Dijon play Bordeaux either last weekend. What I don't have any confirmation of is who, if anyone specifically, they may have been interested in. As a player Corgnet is having a good season after a pretty uninspiring season last year. I have no recollection of seeing him play at all.}
I'm French and most definitely Corgnet is one of our best players, only he was found late because he decided to finish his studies before playing as a professional. But so far I have never seen a player becoming so good so quick in the French championship. I just hope you guys won't notice it too much and let this player player play as long as possible in Dijon.

Steve.. {Ed002's Note - Guarin no. Kevin Strootman maybe but I would be surprised if PSV would let him go in the January window. I also doubt he would get in the Liverpool side just yet, so perhaps one for the future. It is impossible to say who the most likely arrival would be.}

Ed, is it true that Napoli are willing to sell cavani for 35 - 40 mil and same with lavezzi? can't see us signing either of them in january but possibly in the summer. {Ed001's Note - if they are then PSG's 50m Euro offer for Cavani will be accepted.}
They are willing to listen to offers for Lavezi above 35m but Cavani will be kept there, unless he requests a transfer.
