Hello eds,

Hope you guys didn't having as many heart attacks as I did during the game on the weekend. Was wondering if you know of any interest in Heung-Min Son? Surely a move for him this summer would be pricey given he only just moved, but do you think he could move if they miss out on CL for next season?

Thanks again, cheers!

{Ed002's Note - A number of clubs have been looking at Bayer Leverkusen's Heung Min Son even though he only moved last summer. Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, CSKA Moscow and Juventus have all had representation at recent games.}

You mentioned Liverpool twice. Interesting.

Wow, we must really like him to have him watched twice during the same match!

{Ed001's Note - clubs will often employ more than one scout to watch the same player in the same match, to get differing viewpoints, all joking aside. Ed002 must have meant that, as she doesn't make mistakes.}

Yes, it was meant as a joke.

But that is very interesting to know Ed001, clubs employing different scouts to watch the same player.

And yes, I know Ed02 is not one to make mistakes, he is after all quite the Android.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is a good way to get differing viewpoints quickly, which is why so many clubs use the Football Manager game database as well. It is another scout's view to add to their own scouts' viewpoints. Not many clubs will take the word of just one scout to make signings these days. Mind there are so few scouts with an eye for talent like Geoff Twentyman, plus the costs are so much higher, it makes sense to get extra opinions.}

Are scouts allowed in to watch training?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Not normally.}

Hi Eds

Away from the gloom from yesterday. Do you have any feedback or thoughts please on these players that were linked with. Emre Cann. Lacezetti and also do we still have interest in Hughes and Parejo?

Believable0 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - A move to Liverpool for Emre Can seems very unlikely given he only joined Lerkusen last summer on a four year deal that has a break point after two years when Bayern Munich can by him back. An approach from Roma was rebuffed for this reason.

I understand that Napoli, Spurs and Arsenal have had Lacazette watched and that previous interest from Roma and Juventus remains. He is having a good season and by the summer I would expect that there will be interest in him from a number of clubs, including Liverpool who have had him watched.

I am not aware of any change in the situation with Hughes and certainly interest remains in Parejo.}

As it stands interest in Lacazette is minimal, we have had him watched but we have a plethora of players watched and sign very few of them. We certainly haven't enquired at this time, but that might change if someone leaves (Aspas or Borini).

{Ed002's Note - And I suspect his price will be beyond what is acceptable to Liverpool.}

For a non-starter anyway. Besides it's really other areas that we will be focusing on strengthening.
