Tbh Ed he hasn't really been given that chance by Rodgers. Sham really as IMO he could of done a decent job. If Coates go's to Sunderland on loan then does that mean they will have to buy Borini out right and not loan him?

I like him but don't think he would be given enough of a chance to prove his worth. I think he is a good player but in my opinion will never be a prolific goal scoring striker. Better to get rid now whilst he is worth more and also we would save on his wages. Just makes good business sense.

Have to agree eds. I personally think if Lucas goes we should settle on what we have. I really think Can will be excellent and want to see him primarily take defensive midfield slot as for the games I have seen him in he looked really solid and an intelligent player. which I think is what we need.
Not someone who is going to play the killer pass or take silly chances and I do see Can as that player

Ed002, it could appear that you have a dislike for Brendan, are stirring the pot or perhaps just being a tad petty which clearly irks some on here with the use of phrases like 'Brendaned' and 'foot in mouth' etc. Perhaps it's because they've never seen what you've said about any other teams managers and therefore they have no perspective?
