I have been informed that information leaving the club and sources inside is being limited, we've lost two targets to United and if it stops that from happening in the future then I'm okay with limited info.

The last I've heard is as follows...

We have no interest in Milner.

We have made inquiries regarding Diego, but nothing more is likely to happen.

Adam and Downing deals are still on and should be completed in the near future.

The friendly with Hull is regarding a loan move for Gulasci, not Cairney.

There is definite interest in Pastore, but will wait our time before we place a bid. We will not offer the full amount wanted, but a cash + player offer (I don't know how much or which player).

There is also interest in Higauin, but a transfer looks unlikely.

The Mata tranfer is looking increasing likely to go through. LFC is Mata's preferred club and unless another club comes in with a truly audacious offer, he is set for Anfield.

Nothing new regarding Meireles, but if a offer comes in £15M+ he is likely to go.

Same with Aqualini. No club has met the 11M asking price. I know a offer has come in with 8M (rejected), but I don't know the club.

Thats the latest. Like I said, less info will be coming our way.

I have reliable sources and all my posts have been 100% accurate so far.

Eds how do you rate nabil el zahr ? i mean in his loan spell at PAOK he looks very good.demonstrating pace, good dribbling and descent crossing. can he remain in Dalglish's plan ? {Ed002's Note - He will be leaving if a home can be found for him and his £30k plus weekly wages.}

In my opinion livirpool will sign only one winger.

The choices are: Mata, Adam johnson, N'zogbia, Downing,

Arda Turan(for me should be second choice after Mata),

Honda(can play in various positions, although we might not able be to sign him).

What's your opinion ed and in your opinion which of these are not likely to sign for us. {Ed002's Note - Downing is clearly the one that the club are chasing right now.}

hi guys,
2 bits of info that i read in last 2 days
1 on the net and 1 in the irish daily star newspaper.
first 1 was that dirk kuyt said he would try convince rvp to leave arsenal and come to liverpool
second was in irish paper that rvp not convinced wenger is going to replace fabregas and nasri with quality should they leave, therefore he would have to consider his own future, think he would be a fab signing for us, but im sure there would be a lot of interest in him.

Hi Eds: If the signing of Adams and Downing go ahead do you think will would go after Mata. If so what position would he play if everyone is fit. KK has always played in a 4 4 2 formation. With a big forward like Carroll, what 2 wingers will we have next season to provide the crosses? Do you think we will get a major signing in this summer? Hiya eds, do you think kenny will try and utilize carroll and downing in the same way as crouch and pennant under Benitez? Pennant certainly wasn't the greatest player but his crosses worked well with crouch, am just wondering if that's why KK seems so determined to get him? What do you eds think? Dear Mr. Editor is there any truth in the rumour that diego may be in Liverpool next week to finalise his move?.. you have prob heard this already but it is known that Liverpool have a interest in the player and if any one can get the best out of him well then it has to be Dalglish. Hi ed, brilliant site. I obviously take any tabloid news with a pinch of salt but could you please explain to me the reasons LFC are not in the chase for Neymar? He fits the transfer policy and although he is very expensive he is not out of our price range, as we paid £35m for Andy Carroll. Thanks, Ryanred {Ed002's Note - He is not a target. Hi ed, please post this in rumours section. Just wondering what possibility/chance you think there is in us going for Walcott? He is an lfc fan, can play wing or up front, fits the criteria of our current buying policy. He needs to work on his crossing still for sure but has shown signs of improvement. If Arsenal are losing players already it may prove difficult to prize him away, worth a punt though?

I read that we are after Erik Lamela. What are the chances of us signing him? {Ed002's Note - 1/10 at best. Lamela may leave River Plate this summer - likely destination is Italy with strong interest from Juventus, Lazio, Roma, Napoli and Palermo. Atletico Madrid may be an option with Aguero likely moving on. A move for Lamela to England is almost certainly out due to some very shady ownership issues.}

Liverpool are lining up a £25mil bid for Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy. Nasri will be offered in excess of £100k/wk and Clichy will get £80k/wk. Both are happy-ish at arsenal but concerned about the clubs' lack of ambition.

Liverpool will also go for British quartet Gary Cahill (£16mil) Stewart Downing (£17mil) Daniel Sturridge (£14mil) and Charlie Adam (£8mil + Shelvey & Wilson loan)

Dalglish wants to offload high earners Maxi, Cole, Jovanovic, Poulsen and Aquilani who, combined are on £375k/wk (going by reports) Spearing, Insua, Skrtel (sacrificed) Degen, El-Zhar and N'gog will also all leave. A total of around £35mil is expected to be recouped. The wage bill will remain roughly the same but resale value will be created withing the squad.

Meireles will be sold if Liverpool's £15mil valuation is met as Dalglish wants a player who can carry out a defensive role better. If Raul goes, expect a £20mil bid for Javi Martinez.

A conscious effort will be made to involve Sterling, Suso and Coady in the first team squad for next year.

Expect next year to be the last for Kyrgiakos and Aurelio.

ED please post and reply. Read this nonsense article about Suarez to Barca. Definately not happening this summer, but do you think theres truth to it? As in he could do a Torres to us at anytime? I hope not Anyway I reckon Adam deal is off and we'll get Xabi back if Fab goes to Real. Raul and Aquaman will go, Shelvey on loan leaving Stevie, Xabi, Hendo, Lucas and Jay for CM. Have a feeling we wont get Mata though but there'll be 2 maybe 3 surprising but class signings. Need to sell deadwood fast too

Hi eds, long time reader first post. Do you think the plan with downing was to fill a problem in left midfield and carroll playing off his excellent crossing? well my under standing is that we dont need Charlie Adam we have more then we need in midfeld and i like Meireles and with Aquilani mayby staying that good 4 me? so we need to winger that can get past a player and put a good ball into the box 4 andy carroll ? so i think we shoud go 4 lift side milner right side lennon you have speed from lennon and milner put a good ball in and work very hard ? they will cost 20mil ech but wood give us all we need to use andy to are stranthgs what do you think liverpool fans

Ed, do we have an interest in aguero? Many reliable posters who are well established on forums are saying we plan to meet his agent or have met him at the end of june. I think he would come and people talk about his wages, but the figures they are saying juventus will pay him are not very high. {Ed009's Note - Aguero is one of those players who we are constantly linked with, without ever making a bid. He is a pipe dream for many fans, and whilst I believe we may not be able to afford his wages, that is not the main problem. The point is that we don't need another striker of that calibre, when other positions are far more problematic.}

lewis holtby on loan from SCHALKE {Ed002's Note - Elia is periodically of interest to Liverpool seemingly and I guess it is possible. Diego's agent is hawking him around. He is another maybe. Holtby is much less likely - he will be looking for a starting position at Schalke this season. I cannot see another season on loan.}

although aquilani will proberly be sold on the final day of the window for a knockdown price, im glad he has returned, and kk will get to see him in training. if we can get the best out of this guy then there is no need to sign the likes of adam, or diego. i think diego is a good player, but his attitude is awfull and could disrupt the dressing room, which showed a real togetherness second half of last season. adam i like and has really improved but does he need to be the big fish in a small pond?
what i cant get my head around is juve not willing to meet the valuation of a player who was there best performer last season but will spend 13m on mereiles.
any ideas as to why mereiles and not aquilani ed?

He has his heart set on AC Milan, but Milan have a non-EU quota issue if they are to sign him. Spain-based journalist Graham Hunter has now told Sky Sports News that Real Madrid have made an approach to Arsenal regarding Fabregas.

It is understood that Real value the player at 50million (£45m), which is far closer to Arsenal's asking price than Barcelona have reached.

Considering Fabregas' close links to Barca and the fact the two Spanish clubs are such fierce adversaries, it is unclear whether Real would be successful in luring the midfielder to the Santiago Bernabeu.

But he is a favourite of the board at Real and head coach Jose Mourinho, who wields substantial power over transfers, is also an admirer of Fabregas' qualities.

Madrid relied heavily on Xabi Alonso to influence matches in the centre of the field last season and view Fabregas as somebody who could make a big difference.

Think he could be a decent backup and could play with Morgan and develop an understanding in the reserves so that they could take that into the first team. suarez will move to barca he came to liverpool hoping to play with torres and was under that impression, he doesnt even know who andy carrol is. KK will not want to sell but with his agent being the brother of barca boss it will be hard to stop this deal going through. Liverpool to make sure a good replacement (aguero) is in place to replace suarez. I just want a player who is proud to wear the red of Liverpool and not another player who uses this great club as a spring board for "greater things" tired of players not respecting their contracts and dissrespecting supporters who worship the floor they stand on should have bought Wickham liverpool thru and thru would have worn the shirt with pride Please Publish this it is not trash

This is absolute rubbish. I'm not even going to List all the reasons but i will pick one. The deal will be hard to stop because his agent is the brother of barca boss. The 5 year contract that he signed has not got the clause that ge can leave when ever he wants as long as it's to a relation of his agent. What planet are you on?

I wont pretend to know all our deals but I do know the big signings will be done and presented by then
It'll be their 1st chance to hook up with the team after the asia tour along with the Copa lads
big day promised by Kenny for his mate Slevin (bray, previous partnership with blackburn while kenny was manager and slevin is damien duffs agent, this is all 100%)
