i don't know who your source is mate but i have been hearing whispers since saturday that we had a bid on the table. . ill be happy to see if this comes true though what do you think ed? {Ed005's Note - Don't think its true. Why would PSV do a deal for a key player when they are in a title challenge in Holland?}

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I don't know for next season i guess? maybe he has requested the move and tbh im only reporting what i have been told which links with what someone else has been told. If its true what do you think ed good or bd? {Ed001's Note - I just don't believe it is as advanced as a move being done and dusted yet, I do believe he is a target and we have spoken to his club though.}

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Yeah fair enough mate just saying what i have been told. I doubt it will be made public till summer even if it does happen. We will just have to wait and see. Anyway good night ed {Ed001's Note - night mate, I would prefer you to be right, we need wingers desperately!}

Just a bit of info I heard, it's up to you guys what you do with it. Rafa Benitez to be next Arsenal boss as Wenger to leave to have some part with the French national team. Like I said, it's up to you what you do with it but I got 33-1 and for the sake of a fiver. . . . .

MUSHROOM

There is not much interest in Sanchez, DC feels hes too lightweight and wouldn't adapt to the PL. Hazard, Dzsudzsak and Young are the 3 wingers DC wants. Young is close to signing, and we have started bidding for Dzsudzsak and Hazard. Hazard for 16m and Dzsudzsak for 10m. If Young agrees to sign, he will cost 12m. We want to try and secure deals with clubs now.

Just to put this rumour to bed about Reina wanting to leave for the past 2 years. 18 months ago he signed a 6 year contract, would a want-away do that?

Infact I apologise, it was just under a year ago. During that shocking season he signed a 6 year contract. Now that's commitment! Gotta love Pepe.

Reina
Kuyt
Lucas
Agger

They are all signing new contracts.

Also, people should learn to appreciate Lucas. You don't just get in the Brazil starting team and wear the No.5 for nothing.

Is this true Ed, considering Lucas signed a new deal today? {Ed001's Note - Kuyt and Agger have certainly held talks over a new deal, not sure on Reina, I will have to ask.}

Hi Macca,

Anything new to report to us? Or is there any rumors mentioned before looking more likely?

Cheers

Dzsudzsak, Hazard, Adam, Young, Baines, Benzema and Cahill will sign

30 Mar 2011 18:05:24
Have this on good authority . .

Top defensive targets are Mexes, Sakho, Ansaldi, Cahill, Baines (Mexes and Sakho are the 2 most likely)

Midfield targets are McCarthy, J. Martinez, Banega (although I would expect only 1 to be bought)

Attacking targets are Young, Hulk, Downing, Benzema, Aguero, Pastore (obviously Benzema, Aguero and Pastore will be more expensive than the other 3 but there is strong interest)

From what i have heard, these are the top targets but everything can change in a few months.

Lucas Leiva to be sacrificed to make way for Charlie Adam

The Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is set to move away from Anfield after not being offered a new contract. The Brazilian international is nearing the last 12 months of his current deal at Anfield, and the club have given no indication they will look to extend his stay.

The Daily Mirror are reporting that football director Damien Comolli is preparing to offload the Brazilian in the summer and Serie A side Napoli look to be a possible destination for him.

Would you rather keep Lucas - believable or sign Adam (poss a one season wonder) - unbelievable

Lucas has sighned a new deal for liverpool today-believable

well done lucas you deserve it {Ed001's Note - shows how good the Mirror's sources are, Lucas had been in contract talks with the club for months.}

Young played well yesterday, took players on had a few shots, but we are looking for width and he always cuts inside and ends up playing behind the striker or partnering him. We are crying out for width to young will not be of much help, because of his new found position.

Ins:
Marveaux Free
Mexes Free
Banega/ M'Vila 12m
Bastos 15m
Coentrao 16m
Sturridge 8m

Hi ed i have been hearing a few rumours here in ireland that aiden mc geady could be intersted in a move to liverpool. he has had an amazing 1st season in russia and looks twice the player he was when at celtic. Do u think we will show an intrest?

irishred {Ed001's Note - last I heard he was unhappy in Russia and asked his agent to get in touch with Newcastle to try and get him a move there as it was close to home. I have not heard of any recent Liverpool interest, but he is a player that Kenny knows and likes and wouldn't need to have scouted. It is a very possible move, his agent is often in touch with the club so details could be easily ironed out. I will see what I can find out for you.}

Ive heard rumors that lucas has recently (today) signed a new contract, can anyone confirm or dismiss this?

"Taiwo have a relatively good chance of joining. . Matador"

In case you haven't read it elsewhere - Taiwo is as good as signed for Benfica, who are resigned to losing Coentrao to B Munich - SingRed

Hey ed what do u think this about news plz reply
The Reds' new owner John W Henry is already lining up targets for the summer, with Pastore said to be top of his wish-list.
[on offical site ]

Anfield director of football has identified the young San Siro full back santon as an ideal answer to what has become a problem position and believe that by offering a swap deal with aquilani they may well persuade Nerazzurri boss Leonardo to sell.
[on offical site ]

{Ed002's Note - You need to not read anything in to these being on the "official site" as they are simply listing speculation from the newspapers - which does not make it right. Santon is expected to return to Inter Milan after his seemingly successful loan to Cesena and I do not expect him to leave Milan in the summer. There has been interest from Fiorentina, Juventus and Lyon. Liverpool may well have some degree of interest in the player but I think Davide Santon s previous concerns have been dealt with. As for Pastore, Palermo is a diificult club to deal with (to say the least) and money is not something they are short of. They crave success and I would not be surprised to see him stay another season. Juventus have been knocked back with their standard offer of 20m in cash plus Raffaelle Palladino, Amauri and Sebastian Giovinco in exchange, on loan or in part-ownership as part of the deal. Chelsea are looking for a long-term replacement for Lampard and Manchester United are looking for a long-term replacement for Scholes. He is certainly not top of Chelsea's transfer list but they will keep a watching brief. The rejected bid that was publicised was certainly from Manchester City. Liverpool has shown an interest as well but may struggle with the price - which if he is sold is likely to be the highest of the summer.}

but looking at red sox transfer there can still be a chance if owners splash out

and how do u rate pastore i havent seen him play

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with the Red Sox transfer policy - they play a minimum of 81 home games a season: it is a whole different world. The money to be made available by NESV will largely come, in the first instance, from money generated by the club, which needs to be self-sufficient as we all know. The club are rid of the interest payments but do have significant one off payments to contend with this year. I think if you are expecting NESV to throw enormous sums of their own money in to transfers, you will have a bit of a long wait. I do however have no doubts that they will provided additional financing themselves as necessary - but will not want to pay over the odds players. Pastore is a very good player, but still young.}

Eds, do you know if there is any interest in Sergio Canales, or is this just paper talk?

{Ed006's Note - I have read that he has said we approached him but is happy to stay at Real. It would make sense if we were interest as he is a good young player. I can't see him coming myself as he said he is at the best club in the world.}

This is the interview Nikolay Mihaylov had about wanting to return 2 liverpool in the summer. . .
.
Bulgarian goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov is hoping to return to Premier League club Liverpool at the end of the season, the Twente Enschede player said on Tuesday (Tue, 29 Mar 19:06:00 2011)

The 22-year-old joined Liverpool from Levski Sofia in 2007 but was loaned to Dutch champions Twente after failing to obtain a work permit due to his lack of international appearances.

"Liverpool are a huge club, " Mihaylov told Darik radio. "It wasn't possible to get a work visa when I went there but now there'll be no such problems because I'm playing regularly in the national team."

Twente signed Mihaylov last year on a three-year contract but Liverpool included an option to re-sign him before the end of the deal.

"I think it's absolutely real, " said Mihaylov when asked about the possibility of returning to Liverpool. "The option was made when Rafa Benitez was in charge.

"I know from my agent that Pepe Reina wants to go back to Spain. His desire dates back from one or two years.

"It's not difficult to see this. I know him well, he's one of the best keepers in the world but his current form is not as it should be in a club like Liverpool."

so ed could Nikolay Mihaylov possibly be the reason why we are not stressing to look for replacements for reina, about wanting to go back to spain and be the spanish #1? because we already have or potentaly have a replacement in Mihaylov and back ups with the likes of dean bouzanis, peter gulacsi and martin hansen? but with that said not saying liverpool won't try anything to keep hold of pepe.

{Ed002's Note - Mihaylov was transfered to the Netherlands. The club will have spoken to Reina to ask his intentions and if he has said he is leaving Liverpool will be considering all of their options. As far as we know right now, reina is staying.}

Cristian Ansaldi of Rubin Kazan is a target for the left back position. Last summer he was linked with Manchester City and Chelsea but had work permit problems. He's now an Italian citizen so this might make a move to England easier.

Ok Now only two bits of news. Normally very reliable friend for myself.

Renato Agusto Plays in Germany for Leverkeusen now but used to play for Flamengo. Is being touted as a major target. Still very young at 23.
(I don't know enough but i have been told he would be an excellent signing and around 8-12 million)

Now my other peice of News is not the greatest. Reina is looking to go back to spain. Major sticking point is he wants trophies. (so Barcelona or Real) Barcelona could be on the cards as he already knows the club, But Valdes as poor as he can be is a fan faviroute with near 500 apperances including B team. So barcelona looks like a no no.

Real Madrid have Iker Cassillas (sp) currently spain number 1 (only because he still plays in spain) Real will not drop this guy at all hes there new Raul.

Atheltico just arent good enough. and even if De Gea leaves in the summer the have sergio asenjo (Again not better than Reina but a cheap ready made replacement and 21)

So with Regards To reina he will be Remaining with Liverpool but does want to go back to Spain.

I have been told he will be leaving but has wanted to for the past two years. Maybe a move to Italy?
