This is my first post on here. Absolutely brilliant site eds. Been using this information site for years.
I have heard a pretty good rumour today and was hoping eds could said some light on it for us. Is it true that fired bull are interested in buying Liverpool? {Ed002's Note - Red Bull has an interest in expanding their football portfolio and an assessment has been carried out to look at the suitability of EPL sides. Several were looked at and the two I understand that would perhaps be suitable are Everton and West Ham. This is not an overnight thing.}

Former Liverpool manager gerrard houllier is head of the football investment side of red bull and he has stated that red bulls model is to buy a lower leauge english club, and season after season win promotion with a view to establishing them in the prem league but a move for a big club would be highly unlikely . {Ed002's Note - That is a separate matter - the ten year plan to get Leipzig to the highest tier. There are rules already in place that put restrictions on advertising and other matters which means it is not something that will happen in the short-term.}

Wouldn't they want to rebrand in line with their other teams. ie Reb Bull Everton? I can't see that going down well with any team with a lot of history {Ed002's Note - Actually there are UEFA and FA restrictions but I don't want to get in to that.}

are we looking at shaqiri and/or guidetti? were we interested in either of them in the summer?

Ed002, obviously Liverpool has the ability to buy Guidetti and match the offers made by Borrusia Monchengladbach and Trabzonspor. However, do you think Guidetti would be interested in moving to Liverpool or leaving the Premier League? {Ed002's Note - I imagine he will want commitments about playing time - and I think that will be tough for Liverpool to do. Sitting on the bench in Liverpool will not benefit him at all.}

Amazing site! Just registered, hey eds do you think Liverpool will look to abel hernandez if iago aspas leaves to valencia? R do you have a name they might look at {Ed002's Note - Roma has a sustained interest in Hernandez. Napoli, Arsenal and Dortmund have enquired in recent weeks and been told he is not available.}

Eds do you think we will sell aspas, he hasn't looked prem quality but came with a good reputation and record and started well?

Would seem strange to sell especially when we would then only have 2 strikers {Ed002's Note - Not just yet.}

Hey eds, is there any possibility of truth in links to Juan Iturbe? Thanks {Ed002's Note - Iturbe is on loan for the season and I can't see how he will be moving in January. Porto will not be keen to sell next summer for anything other than a high prices and then the only likely destination is Italy with interest from Roma, Juventus and Fiorentina. Inter have previously enquired about buying part of his ownership rights.}

But doesn't Verona have a option to buy at the end of the season? so they could decide to buy him and then sell him in the same transfer window for more than what they got him for.
