Just heard Aquilani leaving for AC Milan late next week, fee aroung £9mil. Poulson wrapping up deal with Fulham by monday. He will have to take a pay cut, Liverpool may have to pay him off to leave.

Liverpool hope to wrap up Enrique deal and will soon start negotiating fee with Birmingham for Scott Dann. They hope to have at least these two in before opening game against Sunderland.

Liverpool have contacted Willie Mackay over Joey Barton, see if he is interested in a move to Liverpool. Worth a gamble on a free as long as he doesn't demand to much wages.

(Despite what people think of Joey Barton he is a good player, he had a superb season. Kenny can handle him, everyone said the same about Bellamy, but he got on well with the team... apart from Riise maybe lol Would of liked him to stay on longer but that's "ruthless" Rafa for you)

Liverpool are not about to sell Meireles. Dalglish has just said he needs the team to improve OFF the ball. This is where Meireles, alongside Lucas, is so vital.

For the reason, I think Aquilani will leave. Yes, on the ball he's magnificent but against the likes of the "non-footballing sides" I don't think he is prepared to get stuck in.

If we were in Europe, I think Aquilani would have been a vital player, which is why I wouldn't mind if he went on loan again, for a decent loan fee (maybe 2mil?)

From what I hear, Liverpool are lining up 3 more targets. Their first choices are Alvaro Pereira (if they can get the price to around £13mil) Diego Godin (14mil) and the shock is a loan return of Craig Bellamy which will allow David N'gog to go out on loan and get some regular games.

Kyrgiakos will go out on loan/be sold to whoever wants him and Ayala will be loaned out to Hull.
If Liverpool are offered a fee for Aurelio they will accept although they are not actively looking to get rid of him.

Eds according to yous what is the concrete word on enrique?

D690 {Ed002's Note - There is nothing new that I am aware of. If a LB is bought I suspect he is the most likely.}

Chelsea are to attempt to sign Alberto Aquilani from Liverpool. New boss Andre Villas will not go above £32 million for Luca Modric. He is also looking to change Chelsea's style of play to a more passing game and see's the player as an ideal alternative. Whether LFC would be prepared to sell another top player to there league rivals is another question, as is the player himself, after all his complaining about wanting to leave the country. I am told Chelsea are prepared to go to as much as £15 000000 for the player.

Forget all this rubbish about Enrique from Newcastle.
I have been told that we are in advanced negotiations with PSV Eindhoven for their left back Erik Pieters (23). A close friend and international team-mate of Dirk Kuyt he was the person that put KK and Comolli onto the player and having watched him play was suitably impressed (I am told this was archieve footage.) If a fee can be arranged and wages negotiated he will be our first choice left back for the coming season.
Eds...don't suppose you have heard anything about this but what do you think?

The rumour of a 'former player' rejoining has gained too much ground to not be true. My bet is that is is either Alonso, Warnock or ARBELOA. But who knows, it could be Djimi Traore

Thanks.

Ed you keep saying their is no Enrique bid been put in but all the papers and websites say their has been. So do you think your wrong. All them websites cant be wrong {Ed002's Note - I don't know which Ed you are talking about. I have certainly said there is no deal yet. As for all of the web sites can't be wrong - remember Coentrao?}

03 Aug 2011 16:58:49
Hi Ed, We had been linked with Ola Toivenan earlier in the year but it seems to have gone quiet. Player stated the other day that he is not sure if he will stay at his club. do you think theres any chance of us showing an interest again? {Ed002's Note - I doubt it.}

03 Aug 2011 16:56:14
Liverpool will still be persuing Centre Back and Striker targets right up until the transfer deadline on 31 August 2011 despite what you read them say in the media. Targets include Gary Cahill, Scott Dann and Mamadou Sakho are all targets for the centre back position. For the striking position they are looking at unproven and exciting young players similar to Javier Hernandez.

Now that Enrique is almost sealed watch this space and hopefully the transfer team can get some good business done.

They will also be trying to offload players that won't see much first team action this season such as Emiliano Insua (£3m), Nabil El Zhar (£0m), Philipp Degen (£0m), Christian Poulsen (£1.5m) and Alberto Aquilani (£8m).

Liverpool will be more concerned with offloading players than they will with signing a centre back and a striker altough they are still a priority.

Hi Ed002

I posted a few days ago that I had a feeling atleast 2 players would be gone before this Friday, Jova & Aquilani.

One departure has happened, one to go.

What are your thoughts, do you think we will accept 6-8mil from AC Milan and count our losses on the Italian? {Ed002's Note - Liverpool will hold out for 10M euro.}

03 Aug 2011 15:38:03
Hi Ed , not a rumour just a quick question. How is Skrtel these days I know he had a bit of bother but time is running out before season start and his fitness will be crucial with agger's history and all that.
Thanks Ed {Ed002's Note - May be fit for the start of the season.}

Jose Enrique joining Liverpool this week. Watch out through the season for him to play an advanced position on the left wing and cover for Flano. Same will happen on right with Johnson on right wing and cover for Kelly.

03 Aug 2011 12:35:19
Not made up just what I have been told,
Enrique to chelsea
Marin or hazard or both? to spurs
Samba to liverpool
now whether these are true or not we will soon see?
Chelsea will use the zhirkov money to raise the modric bid to £38 million, spurs will then inturn buy marin and hazard, chelsea's then final purchase will be
Enrique, liverpools search for a centre half will lead them to blackburns prized asset christopher samba who ideally would like to stay in the north

Going out either by sale or on loan, or released by the club will be:

Milan Jovanovic

With enrique due to arrive this week liverpool will now look to bring in gary cahill from bolton .

but i have very reliable source that tells me liverpool are pushing hard to bring in 4 more stars

EDEN HAZARD...JUAN MATA...XABI ALONSO..AND ROMANU LUKAKU

these 4 will cost £70 million plus add to that
the 50 million spent on henderson, downing and adam , the 25 million it will take to bring in enrique and cahill and the youngsters the board will spend close to 150 million this summer.

a huge amount im well aware of but with
AQUALANI...9 MILLION
NGOG..........6 MILLION
MEIRELES....11 MILLION
and some smaller fees for insua, cole and rodriguez that spend comes down.
the hazard, alonso and mata deals will not take place untill the other deals are done.

keep watching and remember

RE: MEIRELES

The Sunday Times reports that Liverpool have put Raul Meireles on the transfer list, after a disagreement between the two parties over his contract.

The midfielder only signed on at Anfield last summer, but the paper claims he did so on a relatively low contract terms because he was so keen to play in the Premier League. This was done on the understanding that, if he did well, he'd be given a new and improved deal should he do quite well. And we can probably all agree that he fulfilled his part of that particular contract

'Voted the PFA Fans' Player of the Year after a season in which he was central to Liverpool's revival under Kenny Dalglish, the 28-year-old feels he has been let down. Such was Meireles' desire to play Premier League football last August that he accepted a relatively low salary to facilitate a move.

'He believes there was an understanding that those terms would be revised if he did well. He started 32 Premier League games, scoring five times, but attempts to open talks about a new deal with owners Fenway Sports Group proved fruitless and he was transfer listed

Interesting. Juventus are waiting in the wings should Meireles really want to leave, and have offered Felipe Melo or Momo Sissoko as partexchange deal, but Liverpool want cash for the player.

just cash
