Again after the international break we're on at 12:30 on a Saturday morning! How on earth do they get away with this? Last time we played 12:30 on a Saturday after an international break we lost 5-0. Is it really rocket science to move that game to a Sunday afternoon? Let Swansea play Huddersfield Saturday morning and move Liverpool Man U to Sunday.

{Ed025's Note - ahh diddums, its the same for both teams jezza and its just another excuse ready for if things go tits up mate..

03 Oct 2017 18:01:05
Jezza has a fair point swansea and huddersfield will have less players away on international duty stop bein an ass ed25.

Agree1 Disagree8

{Ed025's Note - no you stop thinking that liverpool should get preferential treatment because they were good 30 years ago you prat!..

03 Oct 2017 18:01:24
We always bloody lose when the temperature is between 11 and 13 degrees as well, just you watch it will be 12 degrees and we will lose, absolute joke. 😂.

Agree4 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - heaters are the future mikey..

03 Oct 2017 18:09:17
Im not thinkin of lfc both manutd and lfc have more players on int. Duty your the pratt seein what you want to see.

Agree0 Disagree3

{Ed025's Note - im not the one complaining kloppcat, ok then give them 3 weeks off to charge their batteries, most of them wont play 90 mins on thursday and they are finely tuned athletes so whats your problem?

03 Oct 2017 18:20:35
Plus lfc v manutd is the one of biggest games of the year and should be the sunday 4pm game.

Agree0 Disagree4

{Ed025's Note - i dont think thats your decision to make mate..

Assume it's also got something to do with not giving the attending fans a chance to get tanked up beforehand.

I don't think he wants preferential treatment ed just to be treated the same as everyone else. There's no doubt it's a disadvantage to play early on the Saturday after an international break and we had it after the last International break so why make us do it again? So why put us at a disadvantage twice in a month when everyone else gets extra time to prepare? It's a valid point.
I can see why you don't care you'd have us playing on the Friday morning at 6am if you could but for us it doesn't seem fair.
Just because we are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and people want to see us play our games are moved to inconvenient times. But you just wouldn't understand that would you ;-)

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed025's Note - "were" one of the biggest seems more apt ings, because of the money sky are putting into the game they have the right to decide when clubs play, its a big game david at home to goliath and the target audience will be mainly asia, thats just the way it is im afraid mate..

03 Oct 2017 21:31:34
Ed25 you made a point which should have shut everybody up. They are finely tuned athletes. And on top of that paid millions per year for it.
Blaming the international break is literally an excuse because they are still doing their job, playing professional football. it’s not like the summer breaks when they play literally no football at all except maybe a kick around with their kids or w. e.
And it’s not just our players who are playing internationally either is it?

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your dead right phil, at their age i was paving by day, training twice a week and playing saturday and sunday, the only thing that bothered me was ear ache from my bird mate..

03 Oct 2017 21:35:04
The biggest game in the premier league between England's 2 most decorated clubs. It's a massive game as both teams are hugely supported worldwide so they are of course after the audience. I understand it but still don't think it's right that just because of our worldwide draw we get pushed from pillar to post. Could be worse though we could be a team no one wants to watch like you muppets!

Agree1 Disagree2

{Ed025's Note - your right ings, but if we were on tv i would hate to think that "the peoples club" supporters would bawl their eyes out like 10 year old girls saying "why is it always us", "its not fair","boo hoo"..grow a set will ya mate..

Time we stopped making excuses and doing the business on the pitch.

An article says lfc players will travel @76k miles, utd 68k hudddersfield 28k (got a couple of auzzies in team) and swansea 8k. makes no sense havin lfc v utd the early kick off.

Agree0 Disagree4

04 Oct 2017 01:22:20
No bitterness, just reality - why should the schedule be set to make it easier for any one club over another. no excuses, same for both teams, let's just get on with it and smash the mancs or we only have ourselves to blame.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Oct 2017 22:07:17
God ed025, surely you should know by now that the fixture makers and tv studios are against LFC becoming great again and the only reason we aren’t is every bodies fault except our own?!?! 😂.

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i completely forgot about that westwood..

04 Oct 2017 08:44:35
In fairness, Liverpool will be in the exact same boat as United. It would be much less fair if it was, for example, Liverpool/ United vs Huddersfield where a bunch of players would have played 36 hours ago for one side, but the other would have had 2 weeks off.

Be Positive boys we haven't lost a game in October in 7 years. Mooreen will park the bus happy days, just deal with the next game but be positive!

It’s the same for both teams. Facts are that if they win it will be down to our poor defending and lack of quality in midfield as always, not the time of kick off. And let’s face it, on form they’re likely to batter us whatever time the kick off is at the moment,

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Oct 2017 18:22:15
It makes no difference as the only team we will be playing is the team that also kick off at 12:30.

Get a grip, it's the same for both sides.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - absolutely mate..

05 Oct 2017 00:31:26
As an Aussie fan I'm pretty happy with the 12:30 kick off. Makes it a watchable time here.

Just quick question Eds's just wondering it's been mentioned that Amanda stavely was at the Newcastle game to look at potential investment into Newcastle. Would it be possible it was really us she was there for? (Possible investment that is) P. s is she a Liverpool fan as being reported or is this just papertrash?
Cheers great site!

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - she was there to watch us and sort out a deal to buy Newcastle, I believe she is a Liverpool fan, at least according to someone who was involved in the aborted attempt by DIC to buy Liverpool. Impossible to say, as she could have been saying that just to get her foot in the door I know, but you can only go on what information you have available to you!

There were some NDAs signed with Ashley in the first steps towards a deal being completed. Still early days though for it, but at least Rafa might have something to look forward to.}
