Ed001. What's the talk about Niko Gaitan? Apparently want 16m for him. Does his have any legs or is it just paper talk?

That's good news Ed001. I think Gaitan is a great player personally and I've asked about him a couple of times each season I've been posting on here ^_^

Ed what's your opinion on Konoplyanka? Having watched him in the Spurs' games he shows some flashes of absolute genius, however I feel he can also seem somewhat predictable and gives the ball away cheaply at times. Think he'd be a good buy?

{Ed001's Note - not seen enough to judge him, but someone who I trust as a good judge of players, who has scouted him a number of times, tells me he could be sensational in the Prem if he settles.}

If he's got no legs and they get £16m for him, can only say "done well"

Konoplyanka, Gaitan or Firmino? I would take one of Kono and Firmino.

Any interrest in KAMPL or HINTEREGGER from Red Bull Salzburg?
Young, talented and promising players and I think they would come cheaper than any other so called "stars"?

{Ed002's Note - There is a lot of interest in Hinteregger but not from Liverpool. Mainz 05 maintain an interest in Kampl although the player desires a major city having said he wants to one day play in Berlin or London.}

I spoke to an ex coach from Austria last week who told me that Liverpool have been scouting the pair. Since then it has appeared in various articles on the net. Either there is something in this or websites use this site as a "source", ha.

Hopefully there is substance in the Kampl rumours as he is a top talent.

{Ed002's Note - His performances this season have by all accounts been good enough to attract interest in him from Liverpool. I don't think Valencia would stand in his way if a decent enough offer was made and the player wanted to move.}
