Maybe DC was at united - Schalke game to watch Escudero I would suggest he is the type of player that fits the owners profile ( I'm not sure he's good enough yet though) your thoughts Ed

Chris in Tamworth {Ed002's Note - I have no thoughts on the matter Chris.}

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Comolli was there to watch escudero (lb) hes the spanish leftback guilleme ballague was refering to

He only moved to Schalke last Summer on a four year deal, so it's probably doubtful that he was Comolli's scouting target.

"{Ed002's Note - I think Sakho, M'Vila, Sissoko, Payet and a young mobile striker such as Edinson Cavani. .}"

So no left back, then?

{Ed002's Note - You need to look at the original question to see it in context. Sakho can also provide cover at left back in the unlikely event of Aurelio being injured.}

So that's another centre half to cover Sakho whilst he's filling in for Aurelio (should the 'unlikely event' ever occur). {Ed001's Note - I am sorry but I am laughing so hard at the thought of Aurelio getting injured. That is never going to happen is it?}

Ed001, i just mentioned Jose Angel of Sporting a few minutes ago.
Have we had any interest in him at all?
He's my 2nd choice behind Cissokho.

Thanks
Stu. {Ed001's Note - we did enquire about him a while back, bought Dossena instead because he was thought to be a little weak for the English leagues. We have looked at him since and monitored his progress, we have had scouts at a number of games he has played in this season, I remember discussing with one of the other eds who the scout could be watching in one of them. All I can say is we could be still interested, we defo like someone who plays for Gijon. Oh and I would also have him as my second choice, which is worrying because it makes me feel like I am talking to myself!}

Ed, would you say that cavani is a realistic option? I don't know about everyone else but i would be ecstatic if he signs!

{Ed002's Note - Napoli want to make the move of Cavani permanent and offer up a player, cash and part ownership of a couple of youngsters. Part of the problem is that the player they wish to offer Palermo (Fabio Quagliarella) is on a loan deal to Juventus with an option to buy at the end of the loan, albeit he is out injured right now. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal have at one time shown an interest. I think it is unlikely that he will move to Liverpool.}

04 May 2011 23:23:04
Liverpool have agreed an £8mil deal for Enrique. There is a deal in place for Charlie Adam, £9mil regardless of Blackpools league status. There are talks with Bolton over Gary Cahill, but there are several other clubs in the mix from both England and Spain. Kenny Dalglish has told Commoli to do all he can to sign Bojan from Barca. Anyone who thinks we want Benzema is sadly mistaken. Aquilani is definatley joining an Italian club on a permanent deal. Milan have shown interest and Palermo may enter the running should they decide to cash in on Pastore.

Does anyone have any solid source for rumours of Xabi Alonso returning to LFC?

Would love for a return of Alonso as I believe losing him was a huge mistake!

Hey Eds. Its no secret that a left-back and wingers will be coming in this summer but how many wingers you think will actually be bought in and do you think they'll be foreign, british or both? Appreciate it if you could reply. Cheers Eds

{Ed002's Note - Two foreign or one of each.}

04 May 2011 22:27:39
Ed, what do you think the chances out of 10 are the Liverpool will sign Alonso on the summer.

Cheers {Ed002's Note - 2}

Hi ed
im getting worried about kenny not wanting the job full time,

please tell me it won't be true
i can only see kenny in charge

{Ed002's Note - We know: (a) Damien Comolli's job includes finding a new manager; (b) that the job is probably there for the taking by Kenny Dalglish if he wants it and if a deal can be agreed; (c) that talks have taken place between the board and Dalglish; (d) that he is already contracted to the end of the season and he is not going to walk out; and (e) he is concentrating on getting the right results on the field rather than distracting himself and others with contract negotiations.

It seems likely that the issue of the relationship between Dalglish and Comolli would be something that would need to be resolved. This is not a new issue and I suspect that Comolli is seeking the level of control that it had at St-Etienne - and I have previously explained what happened there.}

"I heard Arda Turans wages were to high for Liverpool."

I think everyone knows that Arda Turan loves Liverpool and would happily drop his wage demands to be able to play for the club.

Rumor i hear from a good source.

I don't like it too much.

Kenny likes Risse but was never going to bid for him. As it turns out A move for Aquilani in exchange for Risse and 8 million upfront (pounds) plus one of the youngsters is now on the card as Kenny has no spot for Aquilani in the team and would rather have backup where he needs it it a club favorite like Risse

Aurelio to take up coaching job with the club and do his badges.

Hulk Hulk Hulk Hulk.

we should all pitch in 10 quid each. their must be a few million fans out there. . we can make up the fee!

Lukaku and his club manager + board are being spoken to via his agent

Gary Cahill will be a liverpool playin in the summer

04 May 2011 20:43:54
To "The Next ;)" , - the person talking about balgue

- Is he saying Mata could be coming our way aswell as griezmann + Capel

- Also with us chasing young + marveux , that makes 5 wingers and you said two , so how can this be then?

ST - Karim Benzema

Ed, can you back me up on this?

Hamlet {Ed002's Note - In part I agree.}

What parts do you agree with mate?

{Ed002's Note - Marveaux, Enrique probably. Others are speculative in my view.}

04 May 2011 20:15:17
Ed, is mata a possibility? {Ed002's Note - If you want me to propose an unexpected signing I would probably say Mata. Although there is no known interest at the moment, it would not be entirely out of the question that the club could move for the player.}

04 May 2011 20:27:23
Hi Eds

I would suggest that we look no further than Osvaldo if we are looking for another striker . I ve seen him on tv in games a couple of times this year and he has certainly impressed me.Could be worth a bid.

Nunain is also another talent in the making but will be really expensive.I would suggest Marko Marin or Dzoudszak or both. could probably get them both for the price of nunain.

FACT

Guillerhme Balague; I'm sure you know how many contacts he has in Spain and how respected he is there.

On Revista de La Liga has just stated alongside his colleague about our transfers.

They were asked via Facebook if Reina would replace Cassillas and he said directly "No, Liverpool are looking for a CB, LB, two wingers and CM. They are not looking for a GK or ST as they are unneeded; Pepe has said how he believes the management and club are going places and he wants to stay."

His colleague replied; "They don't need a LB as they already have a spanish one."

Balague replied "ah, Jose Enrique from Newcastle is essentially done from my people"

Host said "As it has been well known for weeks that it is done."

Balague also said how "Everyone at Athletico Madrid is for Sale apart from Aguero; unless 60m+ came up. He also said that Mata, Capel and Griezmann will be leaving this summer; for a club he just mentioned."

"Later he also said that Osvaldo is going to be bargain of the Summer for 12-15m, apparently upto 9 Premier League clubs were repreented at the game; Including Redknapp, Ferguson(Bro), Commolli, Hughes, Moyes and more. Apparently he is premier league bound and worthy as he has all attributes."

Well if we were out of the market for a striker, why would we have a representative at the game watching Osvaldo? Not doubting you mate as its from Revista it just does not add up, unless we're watching someone else!

From what I can gather from reading the site and other bits and bobs would it be correct to assume we have strong interest in Lukaku, Sisshoko and Sakho and Enrique seems likely to be our left back for next season? LB, CB, CM, ST, and if the wingers he talked about are meant for us, happy days!

Great job all top site

He plays wide also is my asumption; GB usually knows his stuff about transfers so my guess is he reads this site for info :D

Also Sissohko and Sahko fit the GB criteria

I expect Cole, Ngog, Poulsen, Degen, El Zhar, Jones, Konchesky, Aquilani, Jovanovic, Kyrgiakos, Insua to leave with the possibility of Maxi leaving if a good offer comes in. Also Aurelio will be sold if anyone makes a bid, though that's very unlikely. Reina and Gerrard will be staying.

Up to 8 signings will be coming in and Konchesky returned from loan yesterday.

More as I get it,

Reina commits to Liverpool :D Source, Lfc.tv

04 May 2011 19:28:39
We will be targetting a ST, despite what GB says. Kenny wants four top strikers and Karim Benzema is a name that has been mentioned alot by DC as he rates him highly. Real don't want him and he doesn't want Real. I expect us to make a bid.

Jose Enrique is basically a done deal, as is Ashley Young.

Cheers,

Tommo

I've heard we could be getting Arda Turan after all, I thought he was going to Athletico a few months ago! ! Ed can you confirm this?

Rocky {Ed002's Note - Arda Turan looks Atletico Madrid bound. Talks have been going on for a while and he will move this summer. Dortmund apparently, remain interested but Villarreal have dropped any interest that they had. Spurs have dipped their toe in the water over the player and I suspect Valencia are keeping a watchful eye on matters. I am surprised that Liverpool have not followed up the interest they previously had in the player.}

I've heard the complete opposite Ed, I've heard Liverpool are still very much interested in him. He's still only 24 and would be very good business IMO. He's not the only player Liverpool are tracking obviously but i think he's one of the best wing players available in the summer

Relaying some of the most reliable info of the week as he is such a respected man; knew about Torres weeks in advance, Adebayor to Real and where Rafa is going (Ath Madrid) Quique Flores wants out and their board want him gone, Rafa wants in.

I was so ecstatic to here confirmation from such a reliable man about Pepe. (Also no more Benzema, Lukaka talk anymore please :D

"{Ed002's Note - I think Sakho, M'Vila, Sissoko, Payet and a young mobile striker such as Edinson Cavani. .}"

Ed, those are very realistic signings. As you'll know, I want Sissoko, Sakho, M'Vila and Payet (not sure about Cavani, though).
And I don't think it should be a case of either Payet or Johnson.
Both would be excellent signings.

Payet for the right and Johnson on the left (occasionally switching to the right as needs be).
Marveaux, Payet and Johnson are the ideal wingers for me.

But as many have said, there's no way City will to us. I'm not convinced by this "it would a restriction of trade" line. True, it is, but how's that enforceable?
It was in 2007 I think when we wanted Heinze and were willing to match United's valuation.
The player badly wanted the move.
United simply said "NO! It's not gonna happen."
It didn't. I'd envisage the same behaviour from City.

So Johnson imo falls into the Sanchez, Aguero, Pastore category. "NO CHANCE IN HELL", as Mr McMahon (sp) would say.
Don't know what was wrong with me the other day when I had this feeling that one of the left wingers would be a "marquee" signing and had Johnson in mind.

As for forwards, Lukaku's my man. I like Lavezzi, too.
So wrap up, me ideal additions would be:

-Mamadou Sakho
-Emilio Izaguirre
-Yann M'Vila
-Moussa Sissoko
-Adam Johnson
-Slyvan Marveaux
-Dmitri Payet
-Romelu Lukaku

But this what's probably actually gonna happen:
-Cahill
-Enrique
-Elia
-Marveaux
-Barton
-Adam
-Matuidi
-Wolfswinkle

I can 99.999999% Guarentee that Benzema will be at LFC next season as i have a very very good source who has slipped up. The only reason why im not 100% is if Jose gets the boot and the new manager wishes to keep him.

He will be the marque signing

Benzema isn't coming to Anfield. . Who said anything about a marquee signing???? And who's this new Real Madrid manager??? Pull the other one

04 May 2011 18:45:30
Why on earth do people say were signing this, were signing that? The club has thank goodness gone back to utter silence the way it should be. We all want the top players but come on let's be realist. Kenny and camoli(excuse spelling) will I think surprise us yet. I expect a "world" class player but not one were all thinking about I'e hazard etc. We have obviously looked at a lot of players but only the pair plus owners know who they are. Players such young Adams are hopefully not on there way. Have a punt on A Johnson, couple of centre back's (jones especially) and for Christ sake a couple of out and out wingers. We don't need to many in. Just quality. Get rid of some of the overpriced hangers on ( cole, Greek, Serbian fool, maxi, n'crap) to name afew. All will come good. Keep up cracking work ed's

FIFA licensed agent Carrie Baird: Liverpool will sign Sylvian Merveaux & one form these 6. [ Yacine Brahim, Loic Remy, Stephen Mbia, Moussa Sissoko, Fernando Llorente, Yan Mvilla ]
She also said Players such as Erique, Honda & Gervinho will only sign if we are in Europe.

This is not my words!
Your views on this, ED? {Ed002's Note - Well the signing of Marveaux will not be a shock to anybody. Of the six mentioned they play in various positions and she seems to be hedging her bets. I don't know of Enrique's feelings but Liverpool failed to follow up on Honda in January. I disagree that Gervinho would not sign without European football - I think he would very much welcome a move.}

Hi everyone just received a text massage! From the same person who told me that we will sign Carroll if Nando leaves in January (as soon as the Nando rumors started)?

He is saying deals for Enrique, Mervaeux & Charlie Adam is verbally agreed.

Thats mad cos from my source says Andy Carroll wasn't first choice for us, I think the editor will back me up on this one, we had plenty of options! ! Sylvain marveaux is the only one of those 3 players that will sign on July 1st, not exactly breaking news at this stage. .

Hi Ed's & Fellow Redmen,
There is a lot of Paper talk regarding Mario Gomez.
I was just wondering what the general feelings were about him and Ed's what the likely-hood of this (out of 10).
Thanks' MARKOLFC {Ed002's Note - Perhaps 4 - there has been previous interest and I suspect it is an old story being recycled.}

Not exactly what I want to happen, but what I think will happen regarding players coming in:

-Rolando - FC Porto - £15million - Would love if it was Hulk we were tracking, but I think this is who we're more likely looking at.

-Riise - AS Roma - £4million - Robinson is quite obviously the future left back, Kenny knows we just need someone to tick us over until he's fully ready, and also bring back a winner to give us experience for a title push.

-Warnock & Downing - Aston Villa - £15million - Warnock will be brought in for the same reasons as Riise. Downing will also be bought but we'll miss out on Ashley Young.

-Adam - Blackpool - £8million - Seems to have run out of steam coming to the end of the season but I reckon the deal was done in January and Kenny will get the most out of him.

-Alonso - Real Madrid - £20million - Kenny will do everything he can to bring him back. He knows Alonso's talent and presence will give us the push needed for the title next season.

-Griezmann - Real Sociedad - £12million + player - A Comolli buy but just what we need for the wing. Think we had someone monitoring him at the Real Sociedad Vs. Barcelona game.

-Marveaux - Rennes - Free - Comolli has this sorted already.

-Dzsudzsak - PSV - £15million - Young talented winger. Another Comolli buy.

-A host of players will leave with a net spend of about £60million and we'll be left with a very capable title challenging (4-2-3-1) squad of:

GK: Reina, Jones, Gulacsi

RB: Johnson, Kelly, Flanagan
RCB: Carragher, Skrtel, Ayala
LCB: Agger, Rolando, Wilson
LB: Riise, Warnock, Robinson

RCM: Alonso, Adam
LCM: Lucas, Spearing

RAM: Suarez, Griezmann, Maxi
CAM: Gerrard, Meireles, Shelvey
LAM: Dzsudzsak, Downing, Marveaux

ST: Carroll, Kuyt, Pacheco

Neymar, Pastore, Hazard, A. Young, G. Cahill, Coentrao, Hulk, Forlan, Mata, Baines, J. A. Riise and lastly Benzema.

Thank you. Sorry for the long list

Thanks for the 'super-quick' reply ed! i also really like the look of porto's Falcao. he has a great goalscoring record as im sure you already know, do you rate liverpools chances highly of signing him or not? i think he would slot in perfectly in the squad. he reminds of a younger forlan. Would appreciate your thoughts again. Thanks

{Ed002's Note - Falcao is a good player and could be available and I am sure would like to play in England.}

I heard a snippet of an interview last week on talksport and some guy from Belgium , I have know idea who he was ? A sport writer or agent ? your guess is as good as mine. He was on talking about Romelu Lukaka and him coming to the premiership , he mentioned Chelsea as a possible destination for the player, but said he did not feel he should go to Chelsea just yet, but join another club in the premiership ? he mentioned Newcastle in the interview , whether he was using them as an example or not I really couldn't say ? maybe someone who uses this site heard the full interview or has further info could correct me if I am wrong.

Adam Johnson and Ashley Young on either flank! HAPPY DAYS! Rumours are rife the Johnson has handed in a transfer request! ED can you shed any light on this situation?

Although at first i was dissapointed with the riise rumours, on reflection it could be just what we need. A mature, professional left back who only has a couple of years left in him, in which time Jack Robinson can learn his trade and become a starter in couple of years. If we were to spend 12mil on an average left back ala enrique it would restrict Robbo's progression. I don't know what you guys think, but i don't think its that bad of an idea.
p.s if we were to buy a left back, Gibbs would be the one for me.

Adlene Guedioura ? why not , young , cheap , fair decent to come of the bench big strong i think this is the type of player we should be going for as a back up to the centre mids we already got i mean gerrard meireles and lucas seem to be doing the buisness between them with shelvey and spearing he could be a greeat long term signing for around 4m

Brad Jones, Fabio Aurelio, Daniel Agger, Paul Konchesky, Soto Kyriagos, Maxi, Joe Cole, Milan Jovanovic, Insua, Phil Degen, Nabil El Zhar, David Ngog, Christian Poulsen, Alberto Aquilani.

All these players need to be shipped out of the club for various reasons. The majority of the players are just simply unfit for purpose. Players like Agger are just simply not fit ever.

I doubt the club will actually raise anything of note for these players, with the exception of Agger and Aquilani, ironically two injury prone players!

However because of awful mis-managment we may well save a fair few quid off the wage bill and free up some much needed money for new additions.

Now that's an awful lot of players to be shown the door in one go. Now we all know our strength in depth has been a big problem. Our numbers in depth clearly hasn't and one thing i will level towards Rafa, he had too many players on the books.

We will not address the issue of strength in depth for at least another 15 months but at least we can improve on the quality by sacrificing the quantity.

Without doubt we need a left back, two centre halves (one to play first team, the other as 4th choice), two wingers and a striker.

One of these signings need to be classified as 'world class'. The rest need to be 'european class' at least.

By doing what Rafa and Roy just did not do we should promote several younger players to the first team squad. Robinson, Flanaghan, Gulasci, Coady, Sterling. It remains to be seen whether Ayala is deemed good enough for that 4th CB spot and then buy quality for the positions that need strengthing.

I, you maybe surprised, rate Ashley Young highly and i know what you are all saying 'he's just mentioned european class and Young in the same sentence!' but he reminds me a lot of what was being said when we were rumoured to be buying John Barnes. This lad has the talent, pace and the ability to get past full backs with ease. He has been lazy and wasteful over the last 16 months, but read John Barnes above.

Adam Johnson or Stewart Downing would also be excellent additions as well as James Milner who appears to have gone right off the boil and Man City maybe right for plundering a bargain if they repeat last summer's intake of players.

Left back Baines or Cointreau for me. I cannot really see Everton handing over their best player. There's more to this than just a buying and selling club. Cointreau, however will need time to adapt and if he follows in the footsteps of Zhirkov and Kolarov then he could be an expensive flop. He is great going forward, slightly suspect at defending.

Llorente or Hulk up top for me without a shadow of a doubt. Big, powerful players. Llorente appears to be a more versatile version of Carroll, whilst Hulk is quick, powerful and strong.

All these players are capable of a bloody good work ethic, even Young. You can see the success we are having with a striker prepared to work his butt off up front, compared the lazy ass he replaced.

The big problem is the centre half. We have good ball winning CB's already and buying either Cahill or Roger Johnston just adds much of a muchness. We need someone like Daniel Agger who can defend but is a pure ball playing CB. Relaxed and comfortable on the ball, quick and a good defender to boot who can play 45/ 50 games a season and not 23 which is Agger's average. I aint seen one yet. But i aint seen them all.

There is a rumour about Liverpool, particulary Commoli interested in the Mexican Giovani Dos Santos as a possible cheap winger. . certainly better than our current wingers and doing ok in La Liga at the minute and great in the World Cup.

I think that kenny should not want full control over the signings FSG arn't going to remove Damion so he's just not going the right way about this. im sure he's the one who tried to buy adam in jan and we are being linked with cahill, warnock and barton because of him. he's clearly out of practice in the scouting and recruiting area. just do his job (manage the squad)

04 May 2011 12:30:22
Transfer talk aside I think it's worth reminding everyone about our crop of youngsters. . . .

Sterling, Coady, Silva, Ayala, Wisdom, Suso, Thomas, Kelly, Flannagan, Robinson, Shelvey, Adoran, Ince, Pacheco, Morgan and N'goo.

. . There isn't a better crop of youngsters anywhere and all this transfer-talk about buying the likes of Wickham and Lukaku for ££££m's should be treated with a pinch of salt. Yes, Lukaku may be "the next Drogba" and should be brought in if we can get him for a good price but N'goo is also a developing talent with strong physical attributes. I'm not sure Connor Wickham has done enough to justify a bidding-war for his services so let the Spuds take a £15m gamble on him. In Adam Morgan we have a lad who can't stop scoring.
I would (personally) take a punt on Bolton's Davies as an experienced third striker or even Forlan if he can be got cheap. . remember we also have World Cup finalist Dirk Kuuyt and David N'gog.
Any money should be spent on shoring up the defence and adding creativity to the midfield.
Marveaux will add width and Payet will also be a good addition.
Let Joe Cole go back to London but keep Maxi as a squaddie, get N'zogbia from Wigan (LW or LB) as a cheapish squad-player and use Glen Johnson as a wide RM.
Enrique from Newcastle as LB and Tiote or M'vila for midfield with Dann or Kjaer coming in as cover for central defence and we're getting there.
The money should be spent on Micah Richards and Adam Johnson from Citeh (£35-40m) which could be partly funded by selling Aquilani, Jovanovic, Agger and the rest of the drift-wood.
Aurelio, Cole and Agger are all sick-notes and can't be depended on to play consecutive games. . get rid!
Gerrard and Carragher will be forced to play supporting roles next season (sadly) but both will be invaluable in bringing the squad together.
Martin Kelly, if fit, will establish himself as one of the best centre-backs in Europe. . .if fit!
Jay Spearing will find opportunities limited but will stamp his mark in lesser games.
Jonjo Shelvey will either come good or leave (I think he EXPECTS to be first choice!)
Danny Pacheco will probably leave the club on July 1st regardless. . . . . deffo Spain!
Tom Ince will also seek assurances about his future and, in disappointment, will leave.
Daniel Ayala will drop down the pecking-order with the addition of centre-backs but will hopefully stay.
Sotos Kyrgiakos will either be a supporting player or leave. . .he's not considered a first-team regular.
Martin Skirtel has impressed Dalglish but could be a part of this summer's cull. . .if so, Agger, Skirtel and Kyrgiakos could all be gone, replaced by Dann, Kelly, Ayala, Wisdom and maybe another (Jones or Cahill??). Personally, I expect Skirtel to stay but, hopefully, he won't play too much.
FSG will probably make a "marquee signing" to send out a message but their definition of "marquee" may differ from ours. I hope they don't just throw money away for the sake of it!
I have no "inside info" and don't profess to be mates/ related to Phil Thomson (although my uncle is a good mate of his! ). . . .my musings are based on personal speculation.

GK; PEPE RENA, M.Hansen, P.Gulacsi, Chamberlain
LB; ENRIQUE, (N'ZOGBIA), Robinson, Konchesky
RB; FLANNAGAN, (G.Johnson), (M.Kelly), IRWIN
CB; CARRAGHER, M.KELLY, S.DANN, AYALA, WILSON, SKIRTEL, Wisdom, (JONES/ CAHILL/ ??), Coady
MIDFIELD; LUCAS, KUUYT, GERRARD, SPEARING, MAXI, SHELVEY, G.JOHNSON, C.N'ZOGBIA, S.MARVEAUX, PAYET, ??????, MEIRELES, Thomas, Poulsen, Ince, Bruna, COLE, AQUILANI
FORWARDS; SUAREZ, CARROLL, (Kuuyt), JOVANOVIC, DAVIES/ FORLAN/ ??????, N'GOG, N'goo, Pacheco, Silva, Suso, Morgan, STERLING

I fully expect us to sell (or try to sell) ;
Konchesky, Poulsen, Cole, Degen, El Zhar, Aquilani, Pacheco, Ecclestone, Insua, Jovanovic and maybe Kyrgiakos.
I also expect that I'll be completely wrong. . once again, just me speculating out loud!

ED's please post this:
Have heard that Kenny will keep the faith with most of the team for next year, Stevie G will play on the right of midfield when he's back ( were he played when he scored his most goals in a season AND got PFA player of the year ) with Lucas and Meireles the two centre midfielders, who to be fare have done really well. Kuyt, Suarez and Carrol will be rotated, Left midfield will be the position were we will splash out for, there are plenty of options, but the Downing one is the one i'd go for, he can supply the ammo for Carroll. The other postion deamed to be a priority is a World Class centre half.I'd say play Glen Johnson at left back, were he has been better than he has been at right back, with either Kelly or Flanno at Right Back.
There are a lot of fringe first team players that will go, again, to many to mention, but we seriously need to get rid of a lot of high wage earners.
Also a few players are seen to be very injury prone and will be shipped out, if, and its a big if, any offers come in, we can't be paying top wages to players who are constantly lying on the treatment table.
FSG stated that there will be money made available for the Right player, so please stop all the rumours, and give the full time job to the KING, he really does know what he is doing.
Cheers, Whitty.

If our persuit of Lukaku is successful surely Hazard would be more inclined to listen to an offer, maybe even Defour as well! All achievable signings but maybe unrealistic to want all three! Juventus are checky tight assed t**ts! We should terminate the loan now and bring him back for the remainder. . a deal is a deal! They have just used us! {Ed002's Note - It is not a "deal". The player was loaned with an option for Juventus to buy the player at a pre-agreed fee. The option has to be exercised by May 15 or the player is up for grabs again, and Liverpool can sell him elsewhere at whatever fee they can obtain.}

04 May 2011 10:33:15
Is it me or does anyone else agree that Benzema is way over rated? Can't believe so many people on this site hope that he sign's for Liverpool. The club has other positions that need to be full first such as left back and some wide attacking midfielders. I really can't see him getting in the side ahead of Surauz, Carroll, and Kuyt especially the way the 3 of them are playing together. Benzema would be a really expensive 4th choice striker.
Another player i really hope doesn't sign is Enrique from newcastle as he is just pants, can't believe people are talking about him joining. Then the fee some people are saying £10 million? What?

Why did FSG not clear all the Debt ? we still have £30+m of Debt could it be that under the new fair play rules UEFA are bringing in that any Debt on new Stadiums is not counted against the Club ? could this be an indication that FSG are leaning more towards a new Stadium ?

Syd {Ed002's Note - There is no debt remaining from the sale. Any debt there is now is new debt.}
--------------------------------------------
The debt remaining is working debt like an overdraft for the club. . The acquisition debt was cleared by Henry and co but they left the club working debt. This is nothing to worry about it ensures that any commercial income isn't immediately spent by the club.

Expect KK to make a strong effort to sign Adam Johnson soon.
There are other targets that have been kept quiet and very few people know who they are.

People are right to be optimistic.

Also, Bouzo was advised that with Schwarzer entering the twilight it was time for him to become a regular somewhere and push for the national spot. Seemed strange to me because his international loyalties have always been questioned. He is a very good 'keeper. .
