So are the recent reports are Suarez gave an interview saying this is the last season.(fantix)

If so are there possible replacements lined or lining up?(best case scenario that you could give a hint at?)

This one hurts more then Torres IMO

Now we know he is leaving but still need to cheer for him as we need to get to the promise land of top four and possibly premier league title.

He's just come out and said he wants to stay

Hello Ed's,

Can you please tell if we were in need if a left back, did we look at Bryan Oviedo, or was he already looked by Everton.

How do you rate him?

(It is not out of one match fever or something, but a general question)

One more question, we seem to play from midfield like through ball, long pass or simple one two, If for once we can add a little pace and width on the wings to put decent crosses in addition to the through ball, simple one two it will definitely help our chances.

How long do we have to keep searching?
(No comments needed for this one in terms of player just want to know if its only my anger, frustration and eternal hope responsible for this question or there are few more like minded!)

Thank You

{Ed001's Note - I don't know of any interest in Oviedo from us prior to him signing for Everton. Very good player, I am surprised he has not featured more for them ahead of Baines, he looked good there before the return of Pienaar.
We are looking to add more width, we tried in the summer and only managed to get Moses. There will be an attempt to sign someone for the left wing in January, though I wouldn't know who yet, far too many been looked at, Salah is defo a possible though.}

Woo! almost instantaneous reply.

Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - you are welcome, I do remember when Everton were looking at him as I got a peek at a scouting video of him. He was good with both feet, which made him stand out, so it stuck in my head and I have always watched out for him.}

I haven't seen Salah play for a while but the few times I have seen him play right wing, have you seen him much out left? Is that his preferred position?

Thanks

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - Traditionally he has played on the left. Like most wide players he is expected to play just as well on the right when asked.}

(Everton fan (in peace)) Oviedo is very good going forward, but dubious in defence. He has been excellent in both starts this season, but is probably better suited to being on the wing, where he made his only start last season, against Arsenal, and deserved man of the match. I suspect that if you did scout him, you deemed him too unreliable to be a first choice player.

Eds, there's a Galatasaray left back that some reports are claiming Liverpool are interested in, called Caner Erkin. Is there any truth in this claim, please?
Thanks.

Believable9 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - Fenerbahce and Caner Erkin have scheduled some discussions over his contract which runs out in 2014. It would not surprise me if clubs were looking at him and he does have a good reputation. I am not aware of any declared interest from Liverpool.}

Thank you Ed002. How about Granit Xhaka? Is there any interest from Liverpool? Some reports are saying Brendan has identified him as the future replacement for Stevie G. Any information about him will be appreciated.
Thanks again, Ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Xhaka moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach last year although there was interest over the summer from Inter, and Lazio had two offers rejected. Roberto Martinez looked at him as Wigan Manager last year and may well still be interested now he is at Everton. I would not discount both Inter and Milan looking to him at some point. I am not aware of interest from confirmed Liverpool but there would be no chance the player would want to sit on the sidelines waiting for SG to retire. I am sure it has not gone unnoticed that Alberto, Ilori, Kirikou et al have added depth to the squad whilst costing a great deal of money. Add to that Aspas who probably would not of had a great deal more opportunities had he of been fit.}

Hey eds.
Read somewere this morning that samid yesil is of interest to beskitas. Any truth? Wouldn't mind seeing the kid get a chance while sturridge is out.
Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - A representative of Besiktas has said that they have approached Liverpool apout Yesil - it has been suggested that Eintracht Braunschweig might also have an interest.}

Many thanks ed.

Do you think he will be allowed to go ed
we rate him highly so I can't see him leaving permanently

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I don't know. I would hope that the club talk to the player and explain what his future options might be. I suspect the won't offer him a run in the first team that is too often what the kids want - and why many need to move on.}

Thanks Ed.

Would you expect this to be a loan deal? I'd be suprised if the club were open to a permanent deal.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - Both Besiktas and Eintracht Braunschweig would be looking for a permanent deal.}

The kid would be wise to make the move! Look at Adam Morgan. Try and include a but back option of some sort for a certain fee.

This kid is a GEM, any truth in Valmir Berisha's close agreement with Liverpool?

Believable9 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - After doing well at the Under 17 World Cup Valmir Berisha gave an interview to a Swedish Sports TV channel where he claimed that a whole host of clubs had offered him contracts - including Liverpool, Spurs, Ajax, Milan, Sunderland and Celtic. When this was queried with his club, Halmstad, they said that Sunderland, Celtic and Ajax had spoken with them and that they were aware that Krasnodar wanted to speak with them.}
