Eds any intetest in Fernando Reges from us or any other team? Looks a decent unit in holding mid.

{Ed002's Note - There has been a little twist to the saga of Fernando. Fernando has recently become a Portuguese citizen and is desperately looking to force his way in to the national side in time for the World Cup. Whilst this eases a move to Italy where Inter and Fiorentina remain keen, the signing on fee asked of Fiorentina has come as a real shock to them. A number of other clubs have declared an interest and certainly Everton is one but I really don't know of confirmed interest from Liverpool - but it would make some sense. Porto would like to keep him if a deal can be agreed - and that might be back on the table now his citizenship has been confirmed.}

Cheers, I didn't realise it had been rejected which does add an extra element to it.

I take it Portugal aren't as blinkered as say Spain or England about players plying their trade overseas getting into the national team then.

Eds with Barcelona going for ter stergen I assume it means there attention has left reina. Do you know if reina will push back into the Liverpool team or will he be a likely departure in the summer? Or am I wrong about barca?

{Ed001's Note - he was always the first choice keeper, Reina was only ever seen as a stop gap.}

Pepe will not return, he has a number of options with clubs all over Europe expressing interest at the finances involved. i'd guess Napoli or Atletico.

Atletico Madrid is his future I think.

Hi Ed's is anyone in the prem looking at Griezmann from Real Sociedad? And do you think he would suit Liverpool? Thanks in advance .

{Ed002's Note - Athletico Madrid, Arsenal, Valencia, Marseille, Rennes and Lyon showed some interest in Griezmann in the past year and repordedly Barcelona tool a look at one time. Whilst the kid has said that he has no plans to leave Spain anytime soon the financial problems being faced by Real Sociedad may still see him leave the club in 2014. The two clubs showing some little interest right now are PSG, Fiorentina and Juventus.}

Ed have you been to Colorado for some of that legal stuff. i'm sure PSG, Fiorentina and Juve are THREE teams :)

Sad to hear Derby regards Will Hughes. He will not go to Liverpool this transfer window

That is fine. We have first option. We have Allen and Henderson. And Gerrard is still playing. As long as Hughes can come in when or before Gerrard retires.
