Hi Ed 002

With it looking like Messi may now stay at Barcelona, would that end their interest in taking mane this summer?

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - They still have plans to freshen up the squad and the likes of Suarez, Brathwaite, Ruiz and others are available.}

They won't be raising enough to buy Sadio's bad leg from those three!

Looks like Suarez is heading to Juve. They really do love a free transfer. BUt Ed002, I'm confused. He'll get a severance package? I'm reading Suarez wants 25 mil from Barca? So they will pay him to move to Juve? Can you explain the real situation, wtf?
I'll take it to the Barcelona page, if you prefer.

{Ed002's Note - It may not be a free transfer. Suarez wants his contract paid up - that is all it is.}

Contract paid up? . Sadio's big toe so! 😂.

Eds with messi now staying at barcelona for another year does this mean mane will likely be approached next year bow instead of this as part replacement for messi?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - His representatives won't stop trying to get him a move.}

So is he requesting this himself ed? And if he is I want too sell him straight away as it ain't a healthy vibe for the squad, I know ed has told us about Salahs agents hawking for buyers an for me I haven't been able too value him the same since.

{Ed002's Note - We have been through this.}

What you want to do doesn't matter one iota though.

Ffs, why do people find information so hard to understand?

Sadio did not approach Barcelona off his own back, they approached his agent about a possible move. His agent has had a discussion about what a contract could look like.

Remove from the equation the fact that you (a fan) adore LFC. To most footballers, a club is a job with an employer.

If you were in your current job with a really good company, and then another huge company with a huge history approached you about working for them (sure they might be going through a rough patch, but they’re still a huge name in the industry) .

Most people would at least entertain a conversation about what a move might look like. After all there’s nothing lost in a chat. It’s an interesting opportunity, tempting even, but doesn’t mean you’re going to follow through and move company.

This is also incredibly hypocritical that you want him out of the club for considering a move hailstones. So many on here are saying that they want to replace Gini with Thiago.

Whether or not Thiago is an improvement is irrelevant, we can’t ask for undying loyalty from our players when we don’t give the same in return.

I think I read it somewhere, that one of the role of an agent is to look for clubs to sign the player they represent, regardless the player himself asked for it or not. Then bring it forward to the player, and then see whether the player wants it or not. It's one of the way for them to get their pay/ bonus/ allowance. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

So if Mane's agent is actively discussing with other clubs, that doesn't necessarily mean it is something that Mane himself wants, at least not yet.

In the end, as with all previous players that left Liverpool, I still believe the team will do fine if lose yet another star player. Liverpool will produce another one. They always do.

{Ed002's Note - Typically agents do not specifically offer players to other clubs without discussing the matter with the plkayers.}

Ed002 do agents get paid monthly by a player or is it strictly a commission business where they get paid every time a player gets a new contract or moves. Apologies if this has been answered before.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It varies.}
