We're quite strongly linked with Tiago Ilori, the young centre-back from Sporting Lisbon, looks alright to me. Anything new on him Eds?

What is the latest with Tello?
Rumours are coming out of Germany that Dortmund and Scahlke are interested. Do Liverpool still have an eye on the youngster? Quality player and would suit BR's style of play perfectly.
Did we blow our chances in January or is there still faint hope on this one?
Paulo {Ed002's Note - Tello agreed a new contract in January which assures him that he will not be left in the B squad and with Sanchez and Villa leaving this summer he may well make the transition he desires. However, whilst there remains speculation that Dortmund, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool could be interested it is hard to see Barcelona simply selling him on with the others leaving although Schalke have made a direct approach to Barcelona to see what options may exist. If the situation is such that Barcelona decide to make an approach for Suarez, it is possible that Tello might be part of the negotiations, but right now they have told Suarez's representatives that they have no interest in the player.}
I so hope we get Tello because he is going to be so good when he is older! He has the upper body strength, pace and finishing to become a world class player! He reminds me of a young Cristiano Ronaldo, just raw talent! Please sign him up Brendan! With this guy we can make a real surge towards champions league football next year!

From what I have read, other clubs are happy to take the player on loan, which is what Barca are looking for, whereas we want to buy - so chances are we will miss out

hey eds is this garbage? Liverpool's chase of Iago Aspas is STILL not complete, and a contractual dispute has threatened to derail the whole deal.
{Ed002's Note - There is more than one agent claiming to represent the player and this is quite common. It is something Liverpool cannot resolve but no doubt his club will be on it. I would not worry about it. }
It's a done deal mate. £7.2mil apparently.

Any chance of we signing Douglas Costa? Wud be a good buy even if we had to shell a few extra bucks. {Ed002's Note - Manchester United, Chelsea, Rubin Kazan, Napoli, Arsenal, Manchester City and no doubt many others have been interested in Douglas Costa in the past 18 months. He was being hawked around Italy and and Portugal by Cesar Bottega over the last summer and Napoli expressed an interest. There were some talks but no offer was made. Shaktar's approach to valuing players is not dissimilar to Porto's approach. If he moves in the Summer window it may well be to Naples.}

I remember in Jan we were linked or interested in Franco Di Santo,
I know that we clearly didn't want him enough to buy him so I just wondered what the situation was now that he has been released
I presume that we retain no interest in him?

So it reads on tv 'free transfer list story' he has been released by Wigan, definitely not a prolific goal scorer but quite a good player, but could be worth a look

Hi Eds is Liverpool still have an intrest in eriksen and when will they bid him {Ed002's Note - Mkhitaryan now has the eye of the manager.}
Id much rather have Mkhitaryan then Eriksen, don't get me wrong i'd love both, but with Coutinho I don't see much point in having Eriksen!
Mkhitaryan would be a top signing, Ed002 your personal opinion mate, could you see us signing Mkhitaryan? Because I tell you what I don't, i'd love to see it, but I fear its another 'one of them' but what do I know. {Ed002's Note - As of Wednesday night, Liverpool and teams from Italy had shown interest in Mkhitaryan but no offers had been made. I think something could be done, but the price will still remain an issue. Certainly no one from Italy will be prepared to play it. He was offered to another English club this week but they declined. I suspect the add on fees for his representation will not be insignificant. It remains a "maybe" for now.}

Any news on the players who might be released this summer given the number of high profile players that were shown the door today? To the best of my knowledge there are no first team squad members who are at the end on their contracts, could you shed some light? Sorry if this has already been asked but couldn't find it on the search function. {Ed002's Note - Belford, Carragher, Stephens, Wilson.}
