Part x with Pulisic?

I know Migs has had a bad run, but Pulisic plus £5m should get him for Dortmund.

09 May 2018 00:30:48
How much will we have to pay Dortmund though? 😉.

Agree7 Disagree1

09 May 2018 05:14:47
Dortmund will probably demand our front 3 along with Migs to compensate for the goals he will cost them next season.

Sorry mate, you're right.

Pulisic + £150m for Migs - fair deal :)

This is one of our players you’re all talking about, just in case you’ve forgotten. Everybody makes mistakes but nobody makes them deliberately.

What next? Slating Salah because he’s had 2 average games?

Jorginhos agent stated LFC arsenal and the Mancs have all been in touch.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

08 May 2018 21:20:50
Jorginho fekir a right back and backup goalkeeper would do nicely 👌🏻.

Agree15 Disagree1

08 May 2018 22:20:01
Also a Forward in the mold of Draxler to provide cover for Mane, Firmino and Salah. Fekir is a replacement for Coutinho and Jorginho a replacement for Can. We still need cover for the front 3.

Agree1 Disagree5

08 May 2018 23:02:20
Fekir, Ox, Lallana, Woodburn, Wilson, Solanke, Brewster, Origi, Sturridge, Markovic, Kent, Ojo, Ings can cover Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Agree2 Disagree5

{Ed0333's Note - im predicting at least 6 of those players won’t be at the club next season

08 May 2018 23:45:41
We have Ox gini Milner and hendo in the middle, if Jorginho or another cm came with Keita that's enough. Seeing as fekir could play there too that's good enough for me.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 May 2018 02:22:03
Agree with ed33 - i imagine Sturridge origi lallana markvic and kent will be sold and 2 of Wilson Woodburn and Ojo will be loaned out. I also wouldn’t feel comfortable with fekir ings and ox on the wings so definitely in agreement with PowerLFc.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 May 2018 15:25:49
Wilson needs to be given a chance next season. origi, Grujic, markovic, ojo, Kent probably need full time football they won't get here. Woodburn needs a loan same as Solanke. Need another player for the front three and two midfielders, one to replace can, plus a right back to replace Clyne. It's possible Trent will be brought into midfield though.

Hi eds

Do you know if we have any interest in Hee Chan Hwang from RB Saltzburg. Been told we have scouted him a few times this season while also looking at Valon Berisha. Salzburg have a few very good players who i think could all move this window. Haidara and Samessekou aswell as Hwang and Berisha.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - off the top of my head I don't know who we have had watched from them, I can't remember, but we have had scouts at their games very regularly this season.}

08 May 2018 15:51:18
Thanks for the reply ed001 hope we do go after him as he looks a very good young player and can play anywhere across the front 3 so couod be used as a sub or when resting any of our forwards. Plus he would make us millions in shirt sales.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 May 2018 17:11:13
Haidara just scored a La Maradona type of goal vs Marseille, went past 5 players. But I have not seen enough of him to know his consistency.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2018 17:21:42
Rumour is that Haidara is being looked at by their sister company RB Leipzig.

Agree2 Disagree0

08 May 2018 17:31:15
I have seen that Leipzig want him as a replacement for Naby. Looks a very good player. I have watched Salzburg about 12 times this season and they look a very good young team. Red Bull are doing a good job with them as they can pick up promising youngsters to test them out in a decent league and in europe then if they do well they can move them to Leipzig. Salzburg also have a similar setup with fc Leifering. Loaning their young players to them to get them competitive game time. Most of the Salzburg squad has played for Leifering at one stage of their career.

08 May 2018 18:54:45
Hee Chan Hwang looks like a young Honda.

Good afternoon Redmen,

Not the result we wanted at the weekend but it is still in our hands to get the job done.
If any of you are lucky enough to attend the game this weekend support the boys as if it was a final. Create an atmosphere to push the boys over the line and build a feel good factor ahead of the champs league final.

Now that my rambling is over, I will give you the loan update :)

Grujic was an unused sub as Cardiff sealed promotion on the final day of the season. Seeing as he was barely used for the run in I cannot see Warnock in a hurry to take him back next season.

Ejaria and Sunderland signed off a disappointing campaign on a high beating league champions Wolves 3-0 in the final game of the season.
Ejaria opened the scoring with his first senior goal.

Wilson had a frustrating final game for Hull as they drew 1-1 with Brentford.
Wilson had a second half penalty saved to which denied him the chance to be the hero on the day.
However Wilsons loan was a huge success with 7 goals and 4 assists in 14 games which helped Hull to safety.

Flanagan was left out the Bolton squad as his loan came to an end.
Bolton survived relegation thanks to 2 goals in the last 5 minutes to beat Forest 3-2.

Ryan Kent and Sheyi Ojo were also not involved for their clubs.
Kents loan has now ended whereas Ojo will be hoping to be involved in the play offs.

Chirivella's loan came to an end with a full outing as Willem II drew 2-2 with Vitesse. A strong end to the season saw Willem finish in 13th.
Chirivella started 30 of their 34 games this season, a key member of their squad in what was a very productive loan spell.

Corey Whelans loan at Yeovil came to an end with a 1-1 draw with Lincoln.
Whelan was in and around the starting 11 for the majority of his loan spell and can be pleased with what he achieved.

Origi has found himself back in the Wolfsburg line up in recent weeks and produced a lively display. However his hard work was in vein as Wolfsburg lost 4-1 to RBL.
Keita was suspended and so did not feature.

Markovic returned to the starting 11 for Anderlecht but found himself playing LB.
By all accounts he had a good game as Anderlecht beat Brugge 2-1.

Danny Sturridge made a rare outing for the final 15 minutes as West Brom continued their quest for a great escape with a last minute win against Spurs.
Unfortunately it wasn't Sturridge who scored.

Matty Virtue played the full 90 as Notts County drew 0-0 with Luton.
Notts are in the league 2 play offs and will face Coventry in the semi finals.

Awoniyi and Arroyo are injured and Randall was left out the Hearts squad.

And that is your lot redmen.

Ed001, some brilliant articles this morning mate. It seems quiet post-war, so I have a bit of a double barrelled question for you on goal keepers.

I mean, we know the target to replace Mignolet, and compete with Karius is Navas. However, we don't know what is going on with the 3rd choice position.

Could Ward stay? If he leaves will we promote a youngster such as Grabara? If not, will we sign someone like Manninger? And if that is the case, which 3rd choice keepers are we interested in?

Okay, so more of a quadruple barrelled question! I have checked all the pages with the search function and found nothing though. If that is simply because the situation is still up in the air, then apologies for wasting your time.

Believable2 Unbelievable3

{Ed001's Note - we are also keen on Pepe Reina as an alternative to Navas by the way. If Ward goes, as seems likely, we will look out for a 3rd keeper who can also work as a coach, but it is not seen as a priority. To be honest I think, and this is just an opinion, it will be left for now and Klopp will just take a chance on no injuries happening.}

08 May 2018 12:05:32
Having reina back in the squad would be brilliant such a great personality. Question for ed001 tho i think I saw somewhere that achtherberg and pepe didn't get along? Not sure if this was true but more reinas poor form coincided with when actherberg came in?

Agree2 Disagree3

{Ed001's Note - it was nothing to do with Achterberg, as such. Reina wanted out so I doubt any coach would have got much from him.}

08 May 2018 12:05:58
Cheers for the fast and conclusive reply Ed001, mate. I agree with NOTSOZIPPY, you are normally slower to reply than a tortoise doped up on temazepan 😉

Appreciated as always.

'we will look out for a 3rd keeper who can also work as a coach'

Very interesting and somebody entered my mind for such a position, Buffon? would there be any chance? I can't see it happening but it's a nice thought, I think he'd be a brilliant coach.

Agree1 Disagree4

{Ed001's Note - no chance mate.}

08 May 2018 12:54:21
Would rather have Reina than Navas, at least Reina can still catch a ball.

Agree10 Disagree0

08 May 2018 12:59:59
I lost all respect for Buffon when he rallied Italy against Michael Oliver for a correct decision, and then failed to condemn the death threats he received from the 'teppisti disgustosi'. He was one of my all time favourites before that embarrassing scenario.

Reina worked a lot under Xavi Valero (the best goal keeper coach in the world in my opinion) so I wonder if he picked anything up and would be interested in progressing from back up keeper to coach. We know he loves the City enough to make it a long term home, even if he did embarrass himself with how he left last time!

“I came here to help the club and the club has helped me as well, ” Neves told Sky Sports.

“I think we achieved all our goals, as an individual and as a team.

“It is normal as big clubs see our work, not just me but all the boys, but I am really happy here.

“I want to stay here and I want to enjoy the Premier League with this fantastic club. ”

Quote from Ruben Neves yesterday.

By the way. He already is playing for a Champions league manager. Up the Wolves!

{Ed001's Note - mate you have got the wrong player. Navas not Neves.}

08 May 2018 17:34:01
I was under the understanding that Reina had agreed to join AC next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2018 18:32:12
I think Reina's only joining Milan if he gets to be first choice (i. e. Donnarumma leaving) .

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2018 21:49:42
Reina is still one of the best in Italy. Vastly expeienced, He is a true leader at the back! His distribution is top class and Napoli plays high line. He would fit in brilliantly at Liverpool.

Hi Ed's,

Do we hold interest in Dembele from Barcelona one of the reliable French outlet was reporting the story that Klopp likes him and wants him on loan to buy option. Would appreciate your expertise as always.

Believable0 Unbelievable9

{Ed002's Note - I assume you mean as a Salah replacement?}

I think Klopp said that as a joke back on Sunday when he was asked about Fekir.

The Barcelona president has just said Dembele is going nowhere.

In other words, "show us the money". The game is on.

Player swaps are rare, but there might be a possibility here. We have a player who apparently wants to join a big La Liga club; Barcelona have a player Klopp loves who reportedly wants to leave. Hmm . . .

I think from klopps press conference when he was asked about Dembele and laughed and asked was he available clearly showed Dembele isn't. And why would he be. He's only joined Barcelona and had a disaster with injuries in his 1st season.
