Well eds thanks for all the info as usual top site and all that.
Just wondering if we still have interest in Inan and Iturra. Haven't heard or read anymore regarding them so any feed back would be appreciated.
Also I know Mignolet is of interest but is there any interest in another goalkeeper outside of the premier league? Akinfeev would be a real addition but is he a viable option. Any info greatly appreciated.

Inan will leave and be replaced by Alonso, whether he will sign for Liverpool all depends on Jordan Hendersons future.
Re: goalies. Brendan is extremely impressed with reserve keeper Danny Ward and will allow Gulacsi to be sold.
Agree with the post above, Gulacsi will move on and young Ward will be #3 next season.

Hey eds,
with all this speculation of martin skrtel going back to russia to play for zenit, do you think there is any chance at all that we could get hulk in some sort of deal? a lot of the players we have been linked with have been wingers, and I think he certainly has the pace and strenght ffor the premiership, justified by his quite good performances in both matches in the europa league. I know he is on crazy wages, but we were willing to offer sahin 110k+ wages a week? and there have been lots of reports of him being unsettled there, having fallen out with the staff and the racist fans, and he is possibly looking for a way out? maybe its just me putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5, but what do you think eds? {Ed002's Note - No, sorry.}

Regardless of whether he would come to us or is available, his wages are both low and high at the same time.
The issue is tax, In Russia the tax is far lower here so although he is on approx 90k p/w in Russia he gets around 80k of that each week whereas in England he would have to be on around 150k p/w to get the same amount of money in his poket AFTER TAX

Hi ed's I, m hearing of a pal that there are 2 players we are very interested in, I would like your oppinions or have you heard anything: they are :
1. Nicolai Boilese - Left Back - Ajax £3-5m
2. De vrijes - centre back - Feyernoord £8m

DHH {Ed002's Note - I have explained about interest in De Vrij at length. Boilesen strikes me as a very odd choice.}
Boilesen has been injured. When he wasn't he was pure class. But after his latest injury he could not even get on the starting eleven on our national team, and the first choice is Simon Poulsen, who is ok offensively, but poor defensively
De Vrij is no longer being scouted/watched/an option.

Fresh from the Mirror today.
"Sporting Lisbon's Diego Capel, 25, is being targeted by Liverpool but the Anfield club will face competition from Marseille for the £10m-rated Spanish winger. "
Anyone else heard about this or have any news? {Ed002's Note - Liverpool aproached Sporting about taking Jeffren on loan in January and this story might be building erroneously on that.}
Marseille, Swansea and Braga have shown an interest Diego Capel who will likely be available after what has been a pretty torid time this season. His agent has been instructed by Sporting to find him a new club with an asking price in the region of €6M. His agent has spoken with a number of clubs in England, including Spurs, West Ham and Sunderland. Perhaps he has approached Liverpool as well.}
That's a real shame ED002 - Capel is a lively little winger and would be a very good replacement for Downing.
