Juve Boss Marotta said that there will be a decision in terms of Cans Transfer in the next 10 days.
I thought he canceld all contract talks till summer. Is that just Juves Deadline because they need to plan ahead or is it just something he said to create pressure on Can?

I belive both, as Juve and not only them but the clubs overall needs to plan ahead, and Can needs some pressure as he really is holding them and us aswell.

Can could well have kicked his last ball in an LFC shirt.

If he if he doesn't want to stay an commit get rid in my opinion no one is bigger than the club.

It’s not about him committing. He knows he’s falling down the pecking order with Keita arriving.
If Lallana has remained fit, Can would have played a lot less this season.
You can’t question his commitment.
He gives his all.
It’s a shame he just hasn’t pushed on.

Truth hurts - If he doesn’t want to stay then he will leave, we have no say in the matter.

I don't see the point of getting all twisted and upset because Can is almost certain to be leaving. During the course of his stay with us he has been used as utility defender and midfielder and for most of the games acquitted himself well, we signed a promising kid and should just be happy for the man he has become playing here. Cans'professionalism has not Been called into question once and he has not disrupted the team in the same way as others who have left. I say good luck to Can and wish him well in whatever club he chooses as long as he never plays well against us.

He hardly plays well against anyone else so Sod's law says he'll be awesome against us.

Why would he make decision whilst we are still in Europe? If he was fit he would start tonight. We have a chance even slim of winning it, why would he cut his own throat. if he says he's going klopp would lose the trust of his other midfielders if he got a game in the final wouldn't he.

flidby - I'd have to disagree there actually. I think his commitment is a major part of the problem - he gives his all in the big games but he's one of the worst in the squad for switching off and taking it easy against the so called smaller teams, and I can count at least 5 times he's avoided a hard challenge or a tactical foul that ended up costing us badly. I could not say with confidence that he gives his all - I think he's been saving himself to try and catch someones eye this year.
