I don't see losing out on Werner as being the be all and end all first and foremost. Wouldve liked him at LFC but alas, wasnt to be.

With that being said and it's by no means an *upgrade* does this mean Big Div is going to be staying for at the very least another season do we know? Cult hero would be sad to see him leave but would he be happy being impact sub?

Hi Ed002, can you please elaborate further on why he is staying? It is widely reported that a deal has been agreed with Chelsea, although his club is denying it. Is it a case that he's holding out for a Liverpool move? Cheers.

If he does stay klopp needs too play him as a centre forward down the middle not on the wings .

With our money issues, i don't mind if we keep Shaq and Lovren. Play Elliot, Jones and Williams more regularly and play Origi as CF/ ST.

If we can't buy, we move on. We got this far with our current squad and Klopps coaching. We can go one more season with them.

I like Origi, doesn’t kick up a fuss if he’s not playing, gives 100% when he does, although not a world beater, he’s good enough to grab vital goals in big matches and is a decent target man if needed as well.

Couple of questions for Ed2, if I may.

James Maddison - Halfway through the season it seemed he was linked with the usual premier league suspects (Liverpool, United, Chelsea etc) . Has there been any update on his situation?

And secondly, I wanted to hear your opinion on whether or not Liverpool will buy this transfer window or not. And if we were to do so, what positions would you be targeting and who?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest of James Maddison from Liverpool and certainly none from Chelsea. Manchester United have a preferred option but could look again if they cannot sign who they want. I have answered the second question on numerous occasions.}

RE United's interest in Maddison, surely they'd have to sell Pogba to buy Maddison or the other player they want? I am surprised they are still interested considering they signed Fernandes.

Hi Ed's just curious are we still looking at Ryan Fraser as an option if or when Lallana and Shaquiri leave or has that ship sailed due to the fact his form has dropped right off. I personally would like us to give more game time to the likes of jones and Elliot?

Is he still due to be released this summer or did he sign any extension recently because I've heard little talk of his next move. Seems like the type who's strenghts in attack would suit our play and with klopps management skills might get the best out of him, no transfer fee and wage demands not likely to be high for a player still in mid 20s. Not sure if he qualifies as HG or not but as potential budget free agents go he would be worth a punt in my opinion. His fitness levels may not be too appealing though.
