Thinking about dynamic attacking players that won't cost the earth, have Liverpool looked at callum macmanaman at all? raw talents I guess but is one of those players that could make the difference as a squad player for next season and wouldn't cost the earth. Appreciate your thoughts edds

Some questions regarding Konoplyanka ed
1-You said that PSG, Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham were showing interest in him and some club (I can't remember which) was trying to get a deal done
So have there been any developments
2-Have we rekindled our interest in him?

{Ed002's Note - Right now it is PSG, Bayer Leverkusen and Spurs who are showing interest and looking to negotiate a transfer. Liverpool seem to have dropped the interest they had.}

Hi edds, which teams hold an interest in Santos' Leandro Damaio? I know he just moved recently but are any European or EPL clubs interested in him? Thanks

Henderson was the biggest miss in the game against palce, We would have never conceeded all the three goals, shows poor Lucas is in that position
Lucas has been a loyal servant to the club, But can't see him getting anywhere near our starting eleven, If Gerrard Excels in the holding DM role, and we sign another top class CM. Lucas would remain as a bit part player for us.

Ed01/02, Are or where there any interest in Lucas from any club?

Why would you want to sell him? We need to quality players for each position being in the champions league and all the English cups. Apart from the fact that Gerrard won't be able to play every single game next season and the fact that Lucas is probably the better defensively, if Gerrard gets injured we are screwed. Everybody was crying out for a DM backup when Lucas was injured, who's to say Gerrard won't get seriously injured in a tackle like Lucas did? It make no sense to sell him, he's quality.

So you think we can play Stevie G. for 55 games or so? No rotation or a rest to the captain once in a while? I think the Games without Gerrard this season proved we can cope without him for some games.

What we couldn't cope with is Hendersons suspension and that proves we need more midfielders not replacing one of them.

I have to agree with the top post here. For me Lucas is has has always been a problem in this team. He came in for Alonso all those years ago and cost us the title then. This time all the fans that back him up can't hide behind anything, Henderson got a red card and after that the results have gone downhill. Who replaced him. Lucas.

Again this is only my opinion, and I'd never say he was a terrible player, I, like the top post just don't think he's good enough for our team and anyone asking for him to be a squad/backup/rotation player is deluded if they think he'd be good enough to play CL next season.

In fact answer me this, which other top 4 team would he get into? That's really all you need to ask yourself.

All my opinion of course.

Lucas would have started over Flamini, I think - regarding the last post - but he'll be a very important squad player next year. His injuries have got the best at him at times and being out of the spotlight means that some have forgotten how important he can be. He offers us nothing going forward and Gerrard has been an excellent DM, but we are going to need Lucas next season unless BR has a replacement in mind.

Hey Ed's,
Which Wide-Forwards do you know of that are being scouted by Liverpool?
I have seen an Ed say we are looking for a wide forward, but I've not heard anything recently of one being watched apart from Griezman, which I can't see happening

Against a move by Liverpool is that a left sided wide forward seems to be a higher priority as Sterling is pretty settled. An enquiry was made a while back regarding Andre Ayew but there is an offer on the table for him from elsewhere. Do not totally rule out interest in Tadic, Shaqiri, Ben Arfa or Menez.}

That's a long list of names, any chance you could offer the same sort of layout for the left back and centre midfield players we have scouted?

So many options for a potential forward and yet so few for left back and centre midfield. Would be happy with any off that short list.
