Hi Eds! Hope you're doing good.

Any truth in Jadon Sancho rumours?

Believable0 Unbelievable7

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any Jadon Sancho rumour.}

It is a story that emanates from that reliable beacon of truth. The S** tabloid. Seems utter nonsense.

I do find out of window transfer rumours, best one so far on sky giving an explanation to City’s supposed buy back clause “That means if City match any fee offered for Sancho, they will get first refusal” no you melons if a team bid and city match it then the player chooses which ever contract/ club he prefers!

Sancho is a hot topic in the media, he’s probably linked with every top 4 side.

Ed002 Can i ask how do you rate Jadon Sancho? Do you think he has a bright future?

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I have no way to rate players expecially the kiddies who have played a few games well in Germany. The player was well thought of at Manchester City but has opted to take his chance in Dortmund - and he should stick at it for a couple of years or so at least. The German and Italian clubs are looking at young English players with a view to giving them a shot at playing - which would be far less likely in England. Should Dortmund be willing to sell him and should Manchester City not take up their option, those clubs who tried to take him back towards London in 2017 might be interested, but I would expect they would be priced out of a move. He is young, doing well right now and would be one to note for the future - no more at this time.}

The best thing for the lad is to keep his head down, work hard and hope he establishes himself as a starter, I would stay in Germany until he is 22 before moving to a top 4 club.

Whatever he does, I hope he fulfils his potential because he could go on to big things from what I've seen so far, if not for Liverpool, then hopefully for England.

Hi eds

I heard a rumour that Leceister are interested in Clyne. Any truth to this? I note that his contract runs out in 2020 so it would be nice to get a small fee for him as opposed to him leaving on a free at the end of next season.

{Ed001's Note - they are looking for a right back and if the price is right he would be an option for them.}

Thanks a lot Ed001! Hope you are feeling well.

I think once he departs we are okay for cover given that Gomez and Fabinho can fill in there if TAA isn't available. This would also provide Ki Jana Hoever with a path into the first team.

On the other side I wouldn't be surprised if a replacement right back was brought in given that Ki Jana Hoever is still extremely young and that there is a possibility that Trent moves into midfield.

{Ed001's Note - and that Gomez and Fabinho are better in the centre as well.}

Absolutely Ed001.

Quite a lot for Klopp to consider when fringe players leave regarding whether to sign replacements or promote youth. Luckily he has time to think about this.

{Ed001's Note - that is always the difficult bit, which is why so few managers stay long enough in a job to have to get the balance right.}

Good move all around!

Ed001 If Clyne leaves who do you want to replace him?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I don't believe that we need to replace him right now.}

Thank Ed001!

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}

Ed001, why are Leicester City looking at a right back? They already have Pereira and Simpson.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Simpson is crap and is not happy being on the bench and Pereira is not up to much either.}

Thanks Ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - very welcome. I should explain more, Simpson was always deemed as in need of replacing, even as far back as their title-winning season. Pereira was brought in to replace him, but he has been found to be lacking in basic defensive requirements, so they are not overly happy with him within the club.}
