Hey all just a few rumours I've heard in the last couple of hours.
Bournemouth set to sign Wilson on loan for the season.
Liverpool expected to sign in cover for Mané possibly François Kamano from Bordeaux for £15-£20million.
Kent off to Leeds for £9million.
Herbie Kane is going to Hull City on loan.
Monaco and Roma reportedly interested in signing Lovren, Boubacar Kamara from Marseille is apparently of interest should Lovren leave.
Should be an exciting couple of days folks.

Thanks for sharing Kieran.

I personally want to keep Wilson. I think it is crunch time for him and his career and I do think that he has shown enough in pre season and for Derby last season that he can have an impact off the bench for us.

I am sure Kamano could be an excellent signing - or he could be a flop. my point is why don't we place our bets on young wilson instead?

I just don’t think wilson is good enough. He wasn’t even the best player at derby last year mason mount was far better . Yes he can hit a ball and scores some belters but his all round game looks laboured . Slow in thought and seems to slow play down . I wish the lad all the best but I think his future is away from Liverpool .

Wilson won’t get in Bournemouth’s side imo.

If the Wilson to Bournemouth loan proceeds then he WILL play as the deal contains key reassurances and penalty payments if he fails to feature in a certain number of games. I personally think this is a clever move in the development of Harry Wilson as having him as a back-up in a squad where it is highly doubtful he'd get game time would stunt his continuing development.

I also think that the Ryan Kent deal must include a buy-back clause. Yes, he's not really shown sufficient improvement to get into our first team but this does not equate with his development being over. and if Bielsa is anything to do with it then Kent will be substantially better within two years. Let's not make a similar mistake to the Suso one.

Wilson should be keep or sell, no more loans.

I'd like Cornet and Kamara. When Cornet actually started 3 games towards the end of the season he destroyed Marseille, Caen and Nimes as he previously had done City. Kamara would be a work in progress but good potential and can play LB also.

Seems like your spot on with Wilson there mate unlike billy bluffer here 🙂.

I would keep Lovren - we know his faults but we know his strengths - quality player for the squad and Salah is his bestie.

you can't just put buy back clauses in for the sake of it. you'll get less money upfront and less interest in people buying them. let players move on for good.

Would be very happy if all this were true except perhaps Lovren, I can understand him leaving as effectively 4th choice now but don’t know anything about Kamara. I’d rather we kept Lovren who I feel could still be important.

Personally if I was conducting the Kent transfer I wouldn't bother with a buy-back clause. I think Liverpool should just take a deal close to the valuation of the player and insert a sell-on fee if possible, try not to cause any serious fuss over the deal and get it done.

The potential deal for Boubacar Kamara is interesting because of two things;
1)The current financial situation at Marseille means they have to sell in order to balance the FFP books.

2)The player only has a year remaining on his current contract.
Waiting this long into the window, and with european windows shutting at different times of the month, may work for Liverpool in making a cheap (ish) take it or leave it kind of deal, Marseille could fear on not making as much from him or may even lose him for £250,000 (compensation fee) next summer on a free transfer.
The Harry Wilson deal is a good one for Wilson and for Liverpool as he is almost certain to start immediately at Bournemouth considering the injuries they have to both Brooks and Ibe. He'll get some good minutes in the Premier League and that will prove whether he is good enough or not. I don't think there is an option to buy at the end of the loan.

Francois Kamano is an interesting potential signing because he can cover anywhere across the front three and he is almost as fast as Mané, giving us pace on the bench that we did not have before. Bordeaux selling Kamano to Liverpool will help them sign Cristian Pavón from under the noses of LA Galaxy (Cue transfer domino effect)
I think it's wonderful that we are signing players and we only get a slight hint of an incoming transfer when the deal is about to be signed, like Dorukhan Tokoz, that's doing business the right way in my opinion.

It makes total sense to loan him. but finally to a PL team that plays good football. It will be a make or break season for him. Rips it up and we bring him back. does not work we sell.

Ppl who write these younger players off, because they are loaned to other clubs only have to look at harry kane for how useful they are. Also what level of club was mane at, at 22. Or VVD. or robbo. or Milner. on kieta. and on and on It seems you are only good or can only develop if you cost 60m.
