With Origi doubtful for tomorrow's game versus Napoli due to the ankle injury he sustained on Saturday, is it likely that Rhian Brewster will make the bench?

Of course he could just stick with experienced players (e. g. Lallana or Ox to play wide) but it would leave us without a striker on the bench.

I'd give Brewster a go for 20-30mins - if he's got such a big future then these types of games would be fantastic experience, especially if we've manage to grab a good lead in the game!

Love your optimism, Johnny. Wish I shared it as they battered us last year. One of the most difficult places to go, for players and supporters.

Rome mate, we got battered by every team away in the group stages last season, can’t get any worse lol.

Napoli look terrible at the back this season, to which we really should be able to exploit.

We are better than we were 12 months ago. If at all possible get early points and reduce those pressure games at the end.

Agree with your comment re Robbo. Milner needs game time as well.

Not sure about that we started last season very strong . As Drogie pointed out Napoli defence very suspect but they have been scoring loads of goals .
should be an existing game.

Mane or Salah are also both capable of playing striker, I’d rather see Shaqiri or Ox used as subs for this game, and then ease Brewster into MK Dons. It’s a lot to ask for him to step into a Napoli away match, even if only a sub.

Hope Robbo is OK but if not I agree 100% should be Milner.

He definitely gets that slot on the bench for me, if he doesn't then what was the point of signing him to a new deal. He is third choice striker and origi is injured, give him his chance.

Everyone is panicking and chewing their fingernails again. We are Champions of Europe. We're altogether a different animal this year, more cohesive and certainly far more confident. Massive psychological difference when you're the champion of a tournament you're in, versus playing when you have lost the same tournament (and lost badly) the previous year.

It's very possible that we would loose today . and no it won't be the end of the world . there will still be more than enough games to top the group.
