I doubt it but if I was an EPL club in need of a quality centre back I would be testing LFC resolve with a bid around 50 million GBP but I suspect LFC would reject it and I think young Joe is clever enough to continue to be a part of this squad in the same way Lovren, Origi, Shaq, Ox, Keita, Lallana and Milner accept it.

Lovren will be gone at the seasons end and there's very little to choose between Matip and Gomez when both are fully fit. The centre halves'll just have to fight for their place like the midfielders do. Gomez would be crazy to want to leave Lfc at the moment.

It’s not even November yet! It’s not like he’s not playing at all, it is a case of Matip has played incredibly, up fo him to win his place back. Joe doesn’t seem like the type of guy to just give up that easily

I hope Square Tomato can clear these rumours up.

Joe is one of my favourite players. Amazing potential and a CL winner. I hope he sits patient for another year.

This is all knee-jerk reaction stuff to presume Gomez must want out, simply because he's been kept out of the team for a short spell after shaky performances. This stage 12 months ago he was the hottest young CB around, he hasn't spent the year out of form or out of favour, he's been kept out due to his teammate on form and his own personal lack of form, . This is a short term current situation which will change for sure in the future, the lad is 22 and it's near impossible to see where he would think is a better place for his near and long term career to be, klopp likes him and is only protecting him in the same way he did Robertson, oxlade Chamberlain, fabinho. This time last year everyone was saying fabinho was unhappy and be gone in January.

Gomez has a big part to play in the future of this club, I've no doubt about that, . Let's not put so much pressure or expectation on him during a time where he needs to be left to regain his focus and confidence, he needs our support now more than ever.
