Seen some news floating around. I presume it's all rubbish but indication from a few media sources, the super reliable Sky say Werner is nailed on whilst Nico Schira has outright claimed Liverpool are currently in contract negotiations. A contract until 2025 and worth 8M a year. Please can one of the Ed's put this to bed?

{Ed002's Note - The last we knew was the involvement of Oliver Mintzlaff who has asked Karlheinz Forster (the "agent" of Werner) about whether or not Klopp or anyone else from Liverpool (or any other club I would think) has spoken directly with Werner. If Liverpool has now approached his club and are in the position of having some sort of feen and has permission to negotiate with the player then it has happened in the paste 48 hours since his club has starter their investigations. How much has Liverpool agreed to pay Dortmund?}

From the media source the quoted price is reportedly €58million. I'm really hoping Liverpool haven't been tapping players up again, seems to be what you are suggesting Ed002. Thanks for the information as always.

What do you think the price would be closer to Ed002?
