Fraser Hendricks M Longstaff Willian all possible free agents . any interest in them as we are broke this summer?

{Ed0666's Note - We don’t padfill the squad anymore mate with players just for the sake of it. We have youth players all comparable to all of the players you mention. And free doesn’t mean free mate because Bosman’s aren’t cheap when you add up the signing on fee, agent fee, wages etc etc.

Matty Longstaff is a decent young player. Not sure he's better than Leighton Clarkson.

Personally i'd rather Elliott than Fraser, Jones than Hendricks, and Brewster than Willian.

They are all good players bhav_reds, but i think we need better than just "good players".

I'm with ed there. our squad is massive as it is. We all understand where the weak spots are but we can't just be adding more players. I mean dang, just cos there are no fans doesn't mean we need to help the situation and put more players in the stands to watch.

The only one of those that I'd have is maybe Matty Longstaff, as he plays a different role in the midfield than Curtis Jones, and Pedro Chiravella is undoubtedly leaving.

I just doubt that he'd want to come considering how limited his minutes would be initially.

Personally, I think he'd be mad to leave Newcastle right now, just as they're going to have big cheques flying around for top talent just as his professional career is kicking off.

Willian is decent and as we’ve seen over the past few games we need goals. We create the most chances but take too few. I had hoped we’d get a striker and cb in drop firmino in behind the striker and a solid cb pairing is a must. I like gomez and matip but to improve we need another good cb. Also if we want to be silly and throw names out there I’d like to see Jack grealish at Liverpool. Pretty much carrying villa ove to see what he could do in a better team.
