Same here ed, he is as close too robbo as can get, no disrespect to jamal lewis but I prefer this guy if he is happy too play a squad position we have done brilliantly .

Our scattergun bid tactic seems designed to tap up without tapping up. Difficult times require clever strategies, which in turn create smoke and mirrors so that our moves are not predictable . Look at how chelsea are buying up our pre corona targets. This way no one really knows what our true intentions are.

I don’t think Robertson came as back up, it was well known we wanted to replace Moreno - and after about 8 games Robbo was first choice.

Moreno started playing out his skin, so it would have been hard to replace him att, for someone new to the system.

For 11 or 12 million it's good business for a player who is apparently very driven and trains hard in the mould of a player that klopp always improves drastically. He's 24 and solves the LB slot we wanted to strenghten while his style is ideal for our full back play. At the same fee that we got for lovren, a 31 year old 4th choice with a year left on his contract it's great business imo.

People should not focus on the fact that Lewis is only 2 years younger and HG as more important than the actual quality that we want to see from a player give us on the pitch. Lewis showed me nothing in his performances to justify 20mil simply because he's HG and slightly younger.
