I read yesterday that Barcelona had not approached us regarding Gini so this can’t be true.

I heard that Barcelona has agreed terms with Gini on a three year contract, but nothing with us as yet, but that they were going to offer around €20m. I can see it happening as there’s no movement on the contract renewal front. Difficulty is replacing him as I’m not seeing anyone in the squad that just slots in and gives us what he does. The thing that really disturbs me is if Messi goes and Barcelona come after Mane, then we’re really up sh*t creek without a paddle.

Well with DVB seemingly off to UTD (IMO an excellent addition) Barcelona will sign Wijnaldum from us.

If he wants to go the let him go no one not even messi is bigger that the club when one door closes then another one opens rush left then we had barnes beardsley and Aldridge and so on we will still survive no matter what we are still a club people want to play for all over the world.

Have to agree really like Van Der Beek. Think he would suit our system very well. Oh well I trust the club fully still.
