If we had that much, wonder why we didn’t pounce on Timo. Maybe, they wanted 48m outright for Timo. The payment terms for Jota is amazing albeit steep for a player who is plateauing in Wolves.

I also think the club wanted Werner to wait for the summer and he didn't want to. Could have been a deadline on his release clause or he himself.
