Any truth that we’ve submitted a bid for perr schuurs?
Only seen him play against us, and he looked to be a good CB only one game though so not sure how good he is and if he’d suit us.

{Ed002's Note - I don't know but will try and find out. Klopp has been looking at a starter to play with van Dijk. Liverpool would need to remove a non HG player next summer if they buy him so it would not be without issues.}

I’m sure we looked at him about 3 years ago when he was a youngster, like 17? Obviously he’s still a youngster now.

Surely we need a starter to play with Gomez now and not van dijk I’m not sure at his age he will ever get back to the level he was at after a year a half off and even if he does he might well pick up injuries often.

I skipped academy players, Allison has been superb since day one, Fabinho took a while to acclimate, Matip when healthy serviceable, Thiago been injured but if you look at EPL players, we do a LOT better with those, I trust Ed's judgement on Diego Carlos, our brazilian contingent would help acclimation but if we can't get him, would rather have us go EPL experienced players. Hoping for Ben White, played under demanding manager in Bielsa, used to high energy play, pressing and playing high line, and he's a younger too.
