Eds, do we have any interest in Martin odegaard, of real Madrid, on loan at Arsenal.
He seems a good player in terms of quality passes and creating chances in the final third of the pitch.

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I guess this question is being asked as Klopp stuck his tongue in his ear last week. Certainly Liverpool have not spoken with Real Madrid about him. Arsenal beat Real Sociedad to a loan in January but have no option to buy. Real Madrid are happy to include him on a lengthy list of players that they are open to selling or including in exchanges in the summer - and that may suit Seville who have a player that Real Madrid are showing an interest in. Ideally Real Madrid would like an auction for him but will seek €40M for a cash sale. Arsenal would consider him on a permanent deal but it depends on finances which are tight. The way to go about transfers would be to speak to his agent or club - and not directly to the player which is illegal. However, he would be a good addition and offers a lot more than the likes of Keita.}

I like him as a player. Think he would offer something different. Absolutely fed up of hearing how we are not acting professionally in our transfer dealings tho. It makes no sense ethically or financially because we end up paying more anyways in agent fees and clubs being annoyed etc.

Jordz nobody knows what Klopp said to him and after how he and the rest of Arsenal played I would not want him for £40m and not seen him doing anything special for Arsenal up to now. It’s the same with all that stuff last summer with Timo when it seemed to be him that was connecting him self with us Utd and then ended up at Chelsea and we missed a bullet there.

Thiago jones and odegaard is a great midfield.

He is just not good enough. Doesn’t get a look in for Madrid, against us he was as bad as Keita v Madrid.

With you there, Mark. I don’t think he is anywhere near good enuff for where we want to go as a team. On the Arsenal game, I literally forgot he was playing. As for those thinking or intimating that we are interested in him cos Klopp spoke to him after a game then, it is simply people trying to make 3 + 3 equal 9.

We would have signed 60 players already if that was the yardstick for our recruitment cos Klopp talks to players after games near all the time.
