Hi Ed2 hope all is well. Any potential interest in Jérémy Doku? He's young, raw, exceptionally fast and perhaps a good future replacement for either salah or mane?

I believe we tried to sign him at 16, had him look round Melwood etc but he decided it wasn’t the right move for him. Have it in my head that Kompany gave some advise to him.

He signed for Rennes last season. To me he just looks like a head down and run with it type winger, didn’t seem to have any idea what to do with the ball, passing and end product look severely lacking.

We were interested but during some conversation with him and his family, we thought he was headed to Chelsea, and so our interest cooled. It later transpired that he was just talking about his sister who was called Chelsea!
