Hi Ed002,

Bild have reported that Liverpool are interested in bringing in Dennis Zakaria when he is out of contract or maybe for a smaller fee in summer.

Any truth to this? From what I've seen and also read he seems a good player however its a deal that seems very similar to that of someone like Kessie who is a free this summer (is there any Liverpool interest in him also? ) .

Be interested to see the interest as I recall you saying previously that there was a wealth of clubs looking at Zakaria, namely Man City and was wondering on that situation.

{Ed002's Note - Denis Zakaria (DM) Free Agent who has been of interest to Manchester City, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus although many have preferred options. Roma and Inter also offer an opportunity for him to move to Italy but seem less likely destinations. I would not rule out a move to Dortmund to replace Witsel. Juventus interest is based on their preferred target Tchouameni opting to move to England. Barcelona want a Busquets replacement and Real Madrid a Casemiro replacement.
Franck Kessié (CM) Efforts are being made to secure a new contract, but the issue is over the wages continues with Milan struggling. Could potentially be sold but I expect agreement to be reached eventually else there will be a lot of interest with Juventus looking to meet his demands. Interest of Mr Mourinho at Spurs and now Roma remains. Spurs also want him as an Ndombele replacement but the player remains keen to move to Chelsea to eventually replace Kante - but Chelsea turned down the offer from his agent. Conte may press Spurs to add him. His agent has also approached Manchester United and PSG but both sides would need to move a player on in order to add Kessie - but both are interested. An option may exist with Barcelona considering a deal for Kessie that will involve Umtiti. His agent has also spoken with Liverpool and Leicester who may be interested in agreeing a pre-contract in January but both have preferred targets - but don't rule out PSG.}

I presume the preferred target is Bissouma? I think Liverpool would do well to snap up Kessie if Bissouma isn't a viable option.

I'll ignore the Zakaria links for now as it doesn't seem too feasible at this stage.

Would you expect Liverpool to press hard to try and sign Bissouma in January? I presume that Brighton would be looking at £40-50mil+.

Ed02 why in gods name would we be interested in sanches with his injury record when we are having a lot of midfielders already getting injured regularly. Doesn't make any sense to me.
