The Gavi links are coming out again, but if the offer has been made sometime ago why is he stalling? Not saying it's to join us but does anyone know the reason?

Ed002 would know better but finance wise I think Barcelona are still near the limit so I would guess they are just waiting for the summer to move players on to free up wage budget.

Gavi is already close to being Barca’s best player. Selling Ox and giving Milner even less of a role to bring in Gavi is an immense upgrade to our midfield and squad.

If he reject the offer can you see Barcelona selling rather than letting him leave for nothing next summer? Given their finances I’d think they would prefer the £42 million.
