Information time- liverpool have spoken about asensio and valverde to their agents.
Madrid might reduce asking price for asensio significantly.

I don't want us to sign asensio even on the cheap but valverde could be awesome. Though don't think madrid will sell him.

Wonder why on asensio? Not sure where he would get a starting place. Only places up for grabs seem to be CM if someone comes in and makes a go of it.

I’d imagine the club approach many agents for many reasons during the window and the season .
For me asensio is not what we need nor what he needs to be fair.

Does anyone in the know if Gakpo offers a type / option that we do not have?
Unless Mo's contract was designed as a compromise, whilst accepting that he will move on in a season or two, anyone else wouldn't get much game time. Mo is rarely ever injured and can play most games each season.

Gakpo is recommended to us and we were interested. Now mo has signed his extension might mean this has taken a backseat. It might come back on table if one of the forward departs.
