I hope we go for Varela and Ederson this summer, think that 100% improves our midfield. Would look to move Morton, Carvalho and maybe Gravenberch.

Sounds like they could be tricky and expensive deals to do though.
Definitely the most important position to strengthen this summer though.

Just can’t see us signing either one as it stands. Atalanta doesn’t want to sell and if pressed we would need to pay way over the tops. Same with Varela (A single payment) .

Ugarte ruled out. Varela and Neves with big release clauses needing to be met. Ederson being difficult, assume due to likelihood of Koopmeiners leaving?

Gravenberch arrived last day of the transfer window with the season already underway and little game time at former club Bayern.
I hope getting a pre season in, building on his confidence we will see a much improved player.

Gravenberch is the same age bracket as Bradley, Quansah and Elliott I think he deserves a bit more time.

Morton has been excellent in the championship but people want to sign Wharton? Give him a season at least or is he the next clarkson?

Jones and Grav hardly sat on the bench last season. I also do not see us being too active in the transfer market, two additions max. So they should still see plenty of game time.
I think Slot wants to give everyone a fair crack of the whip and I expect some players to surprise us and come back into the fold.

Hi Ed, I notice you said Ederson may be difficult to get now, it had previously looked like he could be the main option for centre midfield, is this due to a change in stance of Atalanta or Liverpool pushing on for an alternate target?
