Who would you think they’d look at Ed001 - a top class first team ready kind of player or an understudy to Gravenberch? I’d have Gravenberch as almost the first name on the team sheet at the minute TBH.

Gravenberch's minutes have worried me too Patrik and I'd hate to lose him for a prolonged spell, for the sake of a breather.

True Patrik, especially with this month of fixtures coming I think he needs a couple of games rest which makes it difficult because we'll know about it without him on the pitch. He has become that important.
The good thing is we have a team firing on all cylinders so we'd be alright, give the lad a break and let him proceed afterwards, the last thing we need is him getting injured for god knows how long. Let his batteries recharge.

Two crucial tweaks that Slot has done.
1. Grav
2. Szoboszlai
We need to give rest to both to keep them fresh. I hope Eliott and Jones can give some freetime but both can't do what Szoboszlai brings to the table - High energy
We will have to see how we fare when we miss his press.
I'd like 1 in defense - to cover Robbo / backup to Konate and VVD. and 1 midfeilder - not decided on priority.

I think we definitely have to take grav out of starting line up for 1 of next 2 matches. My choice would be everton game and play endo there. it a 12.30 kick off and I've no doubt it will be scrappy affair, may suit endo.
Interesting that they see nyoni as a no.6 type player, thought he would've been bit futher forward.

8 point gap. Endo already at the club, trained to be in the team, start giving him some more minutes during matches and build him up to give Grav a breather
Slob is already rotated with Macallister and Jones, with Elliott back now we have another player who we can use to rest in midfield
Hoping Chiesa is back soon. I do believe there is a diamond in there and the way we play we can maximise his abilities
Wonder what the plans are for Robbo at left back, are we waiting to see what the youngsters do or do you think we’re buy?

Let's get the contracts sorted first. Then I'd prioritise a CB and possibly a CM if we have any money to spend (not convinced we do) .
We are currently down to 5 fit defenders so that has to be the first body through the door.
CM is less pressing as we have Gravenberch, Macca, Jones, Dom, Elliot and Endo. I doubt the new person would be a starter but someone who is able to step in and is better than Morton would be my last priority.

Hi Ed001. Hope you’re well. I remember you saying before that you saw Zubimendi as similar to MacAllister and so no need for him or if he had been signed maybe it would be because Mac may move on. I don’t know if any deal for Zubimendi would be looked at again but who would you see as best complimenting Gravenberch in midfield?

From the little I’ve seen of him he looks a good player. I’d be happy with him but the price I imagine would be high with how Brighton do business so well. Maybe that would be a barrier. Thanks.

I think Morton and Endo are reasonable enough back ups personally, maybe if Morton gets a loan. Who knows eh. ynwa.

I think the challenge with Baleba is that Brighton paid £25m for him and I think Lille also have a 15% sell on clause. So, he could cost us £60-70m. Nothing from Hughes/ Edwards suggests we fancy going into that range for any player tbh.

There are roughly 43 games left.
In six months.
13 of them we can play a combination of Mac, Endo, Tyler and Curtis to give Ryan a break.
That leaves Ryan 5 games a month until June.
So, Liverpool have the best performing midfield in the world right now. We’ve not had to use Endo, Harvey or Tyler (all good players) .
What games are we taking off Ryan out of the 40 he had left and how much are we paying for someone we don’t need?

Any thoughts on whether Bajc will return from his loan? anyone watched him to see how he's doing.
Or is he likely to be a sale next summer?
{Ed001's Note - he is improving from the little I have seen - I see a highlights reel after each performance. Not a foolproof way to judge him, but he is looking to be more involved and playing better football as the season goes on. Still needs to buck up his attitude though.}
