Reports from Anfield that the home dressing room was incredibly tense at FT.

Trent and Darwin had to be separated from VVD, players taking sides, nearly coming to blows. Stewards outside the dressing room heard items being thrown and a lot of shouting.

I can understand Trent and VVD.

06 Jan 2025 12:50:13
I can understand Trent and VVD arguing, but why is Darwin getting involved?

06 Jan 2025 12:55:37
VVD was well within his rights yesterday to call a number of other players out. If he did that after the game as well good on him, he’s the captain and played like one. A lot of the rest of his team mates had a bad day, and we can’t let it turn into more than that.

A quick google and it seems that this rumour originates from an Arsenal supporter.

06 Jan 2025 13:03:35
Everyone had the right to have a go at Trent yesterday. He was awful, nowhere near good enough. However for Utds 2nd goal Robertson was on his heels, again. Both fullbacks need to wake up. IMO tsimikas needs to start Wednesday and we need to try and buy a left back.

Fake news.

06 Jan 2025 13:22:23
Bit of a worry if true. Hopefully not.

I'm all for hard truth's but we really don't want divisiveness in the team when we're top of the league. A hard conversation is needed as yesterday really wasn't good enough but coming to blows is really not good for team spirit.

06 Jan 2025 13:27:35
Please don’t believe this. Completed made up rumour made by an Arsenal fan on Twitter. Simply put on the platform to spread misinformation and farm engagement.

Does Trent and Van Dijk know about this? Guilable children.

06 Jan 2025 14:10:33
Players not happy with the performance and/ or result? Sounds alright to me!

06 Jan 2025 14:18:24
Actually hoping for as many changes as possible for the next two games as some of the squad look like they need a breather!

06 Jan 2025 14:36:16
Id be sitting down with Trent and asking him if he actually wants to play for this club because yesterday he was a passenger and Bradley is more than good enough to slot right in for rest of the season.

Unfortunately our worst players yesterday was again, Curtis Jones and no one can convince me he is Liverpool standard and Andy Robertson. I would much rather Tsimikas and Harvey Elliott start over them two especially Elliott who hardly puts a foot wrong.

Don't get me started on naming Chiesa on the bench to never use him.

06 Jan 2025 15:48:27
If it is true then it could be a good thing. Always good for players to have it out every so often and call each other out. That's how you maintain standards. I'd be more worried if they were all happy and pally after that standard of performance.

in 60 plus years of supporting LFC not once have they "Washed their dirty laundry in Public" all business to do with the club was highly confidential.

Jamie Carragher has just done an eight minute "Slot" on sly sport in how to combat Arnes high press, with Amorims Blueprint, basically 3-4-3 is the antidote to Arne's system, i thought Neville would of done this and not Bubbler Carragher, he should be ashamed of himself demeaning the club when it's already part of the present huge media circus.

Google "Jamie Carragher analyses how Ruben Amorims system worked for Man Utd-you tube" absolutely disgusting to Arne and all LFC fans to betray us all.

06 Jan 2025 21:56:21
Carragher hasn’t a clue and Liverpool would have wiped the floor with Utd had they performed to a higher standard and took there chances! If teams want to play the way Utd did then happy days because 9 times out of 10 we will batter them!

On the possible fight I would hope the captain had a few things to say after that performance, hopefully if true it wasn’t just aimed at Trent and included Robbo, Jones and Nunez because they were miserable. Robbo should be dropped for Tzimikas and Szob will replace Jones. Jota for Nunez and problem sorted!

007 im pretty sure every PL level coach can see what's going on the pitch and doesn't need Carra to break it down for them.

@RedDan, “Everyone had the right to have a go at Trent yesterday”. Is that like a National Holiday thing? Great way to build a team or to support one? What gives you, me, us the “right”? Serious question by the way.

I’m not a big fan of JC and his punditry or other things, but now he’s in that position he needs to do what’s asked of him. If he’s asked to analyse how Man Utd negated our tactics he’s going to have to do it unfortunately. He’s also getting right into the contract debacle, and exchanging posts with Mo Salah. Whilst JC is more in the right in this case it isn’t a good look for anyone.
