Anything in the rumours we have bid 50 million Euros for Tchouameni? City Also apparently interested.
07 Jan 2025 14:09:11
More chance of us signing Ayatollah Khomeini than us signing Tchouameni

Musk will spend like there is no tomorrows, when Henry spends he cries for all tomorrows.
Henry is a Hedge Fund Manager they mostly make their money from "Shorting Companies Shares" this has resulted in people losing their Jobs, it could be the bread winner, family members, relations, friends etc
Abramovich Russian Oligarch and Gangster, does anybody think Chelsea supporters bothered when they won the European Cup Twice, Europa League Twice, UEFA Super Cup Twice, FIFA World Club Once, Five Premier League Titles, FA Cup Five Times ( with 2010 providing the clubs first everLeague and FA cup double) the League Cup three times. Man City similar their crimes are too long to post, but all done with dirty money also.
The record books show how many titles, cups you have won, I have yet to see a record book say where the monies came from, granted Musk could spend billions and not win a sausage, but wouldn't it be nice to have monies to spend, instead of going round with the begging bowl.
Supporters who don't want Musk, for me have the simple choice of voting with ye "convictions" and ye "feet" and don't go to the games, there will always be plenty of takers for extra tickets, it never worried Chelsea and Man City Fans and it won't worry my "convictions"either.
07 Jan 2025 17:24:48
Edds, any chance of putting a blocking system inn.
07 Jan 2025 17:28:50
What?
07 Jan 2025 17:50:15
Think someone missed a session with their therapist.
07 Jan 2025 17:57:08
Why block 007 because he has a different view point to you, typical liberal censorship.
He has a point, if people were so bothered by their values then when Newcastle were taken over by the Saudis they would never put another penny into the EPL's pocket! However I they didn't because it actually happened, we know Musk won't happen so they can stand on their holier than though pedestal.
This post has nothing to do with my political views, just pointing out the hypocrisy.
07 Jan 2025 19:14:48
Everybody thought twitter was a publicity stunt, but he has strange motivations and approaches and isn’t averse to throwing crazy money at things that aren’t worth the share price.
I’m not saying he would buy us but he seems obsessed with the uk at the moment. Maybe there’s more to this than a few sound bites and he sees an angle.
07 Jan 2025 19:18:12
99% of premier league club shops use "Asian Sweat" shops for their club merchandise, Musk is only exposing the fact " that Henry has been milking the club" since he took over and will continue to do so for years to come.
It was Jurgen who made their Billions come true, not any financial acumen doings on behalf of FSG.
"A" "FLASHING YE RED" is that what you go to the Therapist for as well!
07 Jan 2025 19:33:01
Maybe FSG are reaching the end of their road 007, but they have run us well in many ways, possibly too well in the financial side, and their managerial choices have been pretty good of late.
07 Jan 2025 19:58:24
Stop talking out of your arse 007. Elon Musk has confirmed that he has fired over 80 per cent of the entire workforce of Twitter so far. The billionaire took over Twitter in October last year and carried out multiple rounds of layoffs after the $44 billion-takeover. Musk, in an interview with BBC, on Twitter Spaces announced that only 1,500 of the around 8000 Twitter employees are still employed at the company.

“ that Henry has been milking the club" since he took over”
-
The clubs finances are published publicly every year.
You should try reading them some time.
07 Jan 2025 20:19:33
My view is slightly more cynical. Musk desperately wants to influence uk politics, for whatever end, but most likely to try and be in a position to manipulate two of the greatest democracies in the world. The way uk politics is governed prevents significant direct investment from foreign parties. However, this changes somewhat when the foreign party owns a British company. Not hugely though, but enough whereby a man wanting to, say fund a fringe uk party, would find it easier to do so. Musk also likes sexy things, so two birds one stone. Personally I don’t care if it’s him or fsg. Massive corporations are hardly beacons of moral authority. I also don’t think it’s a real thing, but if it is real is Musk worse than a massive hedge fund? I really don’t know, but there isn’t much in it. US hedge funds have monopolised the uk children’s care home and foster care industry to great financial profit, but to the detriment of children and tax payers. I’m not saying fsg have, I really don’t know if they have, but hedge funds are not neutral owners either is my main point.

"BEND"over3, what Elon wants he always gets! especially when ye the richest man on the planet.
Kudos to you though you're the only one so far who says you won't be attending Anfield anymore when he takes over, can you please furnish your Stand, Row Number and Seat Number as I have a buyer for your seat or hopefully seats! ready and waiting.
Can think of a very local club with a brand new ground who would take him with the drop of a Hat! and many more premier league clubs one just along the East Lancs Road.
07 Jan 2025 21:37:55
The same people who complain about Elon Musk's influence over British politics have been silent over the influence George Soros, Bill Gates, Rupert Murdoch and Klaus Schwab have had for decades. Why? The reality is politicians and the media are completely unprincipled with foreign interference as long as it fits their agenda.
07 Jan 2025 22:58:39
I think the world was an awful lot better place when we had ‘an Empire on which the sun never set’. Basically speaking, we are in a glasshouse and shouldn’t be chucking stones at people .
07 Jan 2025 23:52:52
So some of you tech bro wannabees wouldn't mind having the club bought by that crypto nazi w**ker Musk because N'castle and the 115'ers are owned by dictators and because he would buy players left right and center?
08 Jan 2025 00:16:49
Van der Vaart buying a house in Liverpool.
08 Jan 2025 00:20:20
Its hilarious to read people justifying Musk’s potential takeover because there are already exploitative villians at other clubs, or there have previously been plenty of other billionaires buying influence in UK politics, or our kit is made in sweat shops already. Should we not be against this sort of thing regardless of whether it has occurred before? Do we really aspire to be like Chelsea and Man City?
We’re all entitled to our opinions but personally i wouldn't want a megalomaniac who endorses Tommy Robinson and apartheid anywhere near our club, particularly for the sake of some bought silverware.
08 Jan 2025 06:00:10
@007 from what i've read Henry did indeed make most of his money trading in futures (ie holding long or short positions in companies) . However i can't see how this would result in people losing their jobs (unless they were trading in futures too and picked the market wrong) . Futures trading basically gives you no say in how a company is run (unlike holding shares in it) . So what am i missing here?
08 Jan 2025 09:53:03
Don't waste your time Phil with 007 he's clueless when it comes to business. I certainly wouldn't be giving my seat up to a supporter of a far right racist. If Musk had his way which he won't our team would consist only of blonde hair, blue eyed Germans. That's what 007 supports. No doubt he has a Tommy Robinson portrait on his wall.
08 Jan 2025 11:01:35
007, there's a word for people who fawn over and venerate the moneyed and the powerful and go out of their way to chastise those who think otherwise, I believe the term is 'bootlicker'.
08 Jan 2025 12:05:13
I wouldn’t mind Musk buying a steak in the club, maybe buy out Le Bron 10% shares as he is a big Diddy party fan from video’s posted with him in stating such.
08 Jan 2025 13:39:42
Was it you Flash?
08 Jan 2025 16:03:04
This isn’t related to Musk, but isn’t there a real issue for us and other clubs in a world where players are earning £300k plus a week.
On the one hand we may not want to be run by out and out capitalists because it’s contra to everyday values or sentiments and this and most cities in the country are left leaning, but on the other hand the players and agents are demanding the wealth and rewards of a completely free market where talent gets rewarded at ridiculous levels, levels beyond the realm of what any highly skilled or qualified person (including those in incredibly well paying jobs such as dentists or lawyers) could ever hope to earn.
I can see why we would like to rule out owners on humanitarian or ethical grounds, but not sure how we can have both a highly talented and rewarded team on the pitch, but a club that’s not run by highly commercial and capitalist people off it.
{Ed025's Note - but as has been said JS You still have to conform to PSR so it doesn,t really matter how many billions your owner has mate..
08 Jan 2025 16:29:53
Suppose the only hope is our owners can strike new commercial deals, and secure TV rights in particular, that can cashflow the ever increasing players demands. Makes you wonder, other than sports washing, why any of them would be that interested given there’s higher margin sectors to invest in.
08 Jan 2025 16:49:50
Are Chelsea not also under investigation for circumventing financial regulations with a series of 'off the books' payments that took place under the previous regime? Apologies if I have missed the outcome of this. If so, grateful if someone could confirm what the outcome was.
