The club has absolutely no choice but to join that market.
I don’t “blame” anyone. He’s given the best part of his career to the Reds, we’ve won everything with him, he’s cashing in on one last big contract. Good luck to him and he’ll get a legends welcome when/ if he returns.

This is a story I wouldn't say is nonsense. It may well be, who knows? But it's not nonsense for a team like PSG to be interested in a player like VVD, he improves any team. I think there might be something to this story, any team getting him on a free will be laughing for the next year or two.
This is what concerns me more than anything is the three lads are all going to be getting offers from all over the place. The fact they've not agreed anything with any other club proves what Ed1 is saying - they want to stay. Get them signed up .
