Kerkez deal is very far along now. Hughes and co have been laying the groundwork for quite some time now and I’d be very shocked if this deal isn’t finalised by the end of May.

There’s some names I’ve heard of us having interest that haven’t really been mentioned by the media but it could all just be conjecture.

He didn't say that exactly, Bazzinga. He was asked if he'd be moving to us in Jan and he said he wasn't. He was asked the same question a few weeks after the window closed and he did change his time somewhat.

Kerkez is probably this summers Caicedo/ Lavia/ Zubimendi. We’ll spend the summer trying to sign him, for him to say no shortly before the window closes, signs for soneone else and we’ll have no plan B.

There’s a lot of articles about how it was a ‘100% done deal’ he was going to sign for Utd from 2 months ago so perhaps that’s something to do with it? Anyway, would be interested to know if there’s a source?

Fair enough VG I appreciate you giving some names. And I think most people (at least the reasonable ones) understand that we probably hold interest in hundreds of players and only get even reliably linked with a fraction of them, let alone signing them. Just interesting food for thought seeing what names come up.

Kerkez insists he won't join Liverpool
The Hungary international hosted a livestream on his official YouTube channel in which he responded to comments from viewers.
When one subscriber urged him to leave Bournemouth for Liverpool, Kerkez replied: "I will not go to Liverpool. For everybody listening, I will not go to Liverpool. "

It would be odd for United to try and sign Kerkez seeing as they only bought a new left back about 6 weeks ago. I do wonder if there may be some mileage in this rumour.

There’s so many moving parts, most of the incomings are going to depend on who leaves. Kerkez is the exception to that and is likely to happen regardless as we wouldn’t get much if anything selling either left back that we have.
Semenyo has been touted a few times, depending if likes of Diaz leaves, Osimhen similarly if Nunez goes and if he’d drop his wage expectations.
The centre mid from Wolves keeps on getting linked, and again they’re being linked with Jota, so alongside Kerkez he seems fairly likely.
The one that worries me the most is Konate leaving, as that noise is constant now with PSG and others. We’d have to pay big to replace him, and that would eat into budgets for other positions. He’d be a huge loss.

this is a rumour that i actually believe. very plausible that this happens. I'd also like to read others opinion on Frimpong. He is an intriguing option in the event Trent decides to leave; well maybe even if he decides to stay. however, I'm most concerned with up front and another versatile cb.

He is not good enough and would be a barn fire of a signing not really very positive tbh. Wow we are definitely going to be going down a level in the next few seasons if he is the best we can hope for. I am now officially worried where we are going now.

That's Bulls**t lad. He's still young. My feeling is he is ACE but very prone to injury. He throws himself about to much. anothe season alongside VVD will work wonders for him. Try to keep you kit clean!
