I hope it's true. He deserves a chance. He did more in his 15 minute cameo in the final than all of the other forwards combined did in the entire match.
Jota/ Diaz/ Nunez have all been given their chance through the middle and none of them have taken it.
The worst that happens is that it doesn't work and we bring Jota off the bench and he tends to influence games far better off the bench than when he starts them.
Having Gakpo back on the left will be a big positive too.

I've been advocating for Chiesa to have way more playing time but I'd be surprised if Chiesa starts the derby.
also, finding it hilarious the fickle nature of fans. He was heading out the club after getting shunted around at Plymouth and suddenly he's Zola after a good run in the League Cup final.

One thing that is really annoying me with Slot is his stubbornness when it’s comes to using Chiesa and Endo at times this season. Chiesa isn’t some untested kid, he plays with some fire and has more of a killer instinct than Nunez and Diaz. Give him a chance now he is fit!

I'd love to see more from Endo but I've been thinking that all season and it's not happened much. He'd of been perfect for many of the games yet hasn't been put on, I don't get why.
With Chiesa I'm convinced the lad won't make it with us but at the same time he deserves his chance. Will he get it? I doubt it. I think we'll only use him if we absolutely have to.

We have no one able to play down the middle if he can show he can do that he will be a regular until the end of the season. His football brain is second to none and will be a great asset when fit.
